I made a small batch of food around 3am after taking care of my youngest who happened to wake up middle of the night. I'd set my plate down on my nightstand, gotten comfy, and passed tf out.

So now I have a cold breakfast ready and waiting 😅🫠

Just had a flashback from a decade ago.

I was chillin with one of my good friends and he was snacking on peanut butter (spooning it out and just nommin) while we were sitting on his couch watching tv.

I looked at him. Looked at the jar. And in .02 seconds scooped a blob out with my hand.

Handful of pb to the face.

Zero impulse control that fateful night.

I have to mix up how I get myself to swallow pills (i chronically choke on water so you can imagine)

Chugging a drink and in between shoving the pill between my lips to not disrupt the chug and it goes down fast.

Eating something that REQUIRES an immediate drink so I have no choice.

Putting pill in mouth, taking a sip, pretending to chew and then swallowing. (Though I have had the misfortune of accidentally biting my pill and YUCK)

Pill in mouth, sip of drink, and it sits in my mouth while i snap my fingers and basically do tai chi to work myself up to swallowing the effin thing.

I just swallowed the pill I was struggling for hours the other day with in 2 seconds because the alternative was The Apple Sauce Method (opening the capsule and dumping the powder into apple sauce) and my body dreaded the mushy apple-cinnamon bitterness so much it just went like “oh god not the applesauce. let’s just swallow the pill ok”

Eep! My partner is buying me the season pass for River Walking at our local aquatic center so I can start exercising without feeling like *death* afterwards plus ya know

And between my roomie and my best friend we're going 5 days a week!!! Yippeeee!!

It's 1.5 hours, 5 days a week, OUT of the house, kid-free, to better my health....
