it’s been a while since i was last here, hello

i am still alive!!!

finally finished with school and since october was right around the corner, i thought i’d try to write some stuff. when i finally managed to remember my password, i also found a TON of things in my drafts so i moved them to my queue. they should start posting in a few. they’ve been set to post 3xs a day. and there are still many other drafts i need to get through

changed my theme because i couldn’t edit the sidebar stuff in my old theme?? i kept getting some sort of error thing. well, i like the new theme better (altho i wish the header was a bit wider, it feels kind of...awkward?)

as an update: i just finished rewatching no. 6. it’s still so beautiful and tragic as the first time i watched it. also just bought tsuritama. i don’t usually buy anime but it was on sale and soon to go extinct. have you watched it? you should, it’s very cute!! and about aliens

oh and i have some reimob fics in the works. don’t know if there are still people in that fandom but feel free to drop me some ideas >_> i’m going to go through the old asks i got before (and all those delicious october prompts i have found) but nothing motivates me more than to write something for someone

Handy guide to writing asexual characters:

1. Have them have friends! The lonely asexual story is getting really old.

2. Introverted asexuals are cool, but why not have extroverted asexuals?

3. Asexual and Aromantic are not the same thing. Try giving your character a sexless romance.

4. Or have them have sex, that’s cool too! Remember. Asexuality is the lack of sexual attraction, and does not mean the character is opposed to sex.

5. Asexuality varies. If you want your character to be a victim of sexual assault that’s fine, but don’t make this true about every asexual character. Some people don’t want sex and it has nothing to do with past sexual experiences.

6. No more sociopathic asexuals, okay?

7. Don’t paint your asexual character to be the essence of innocence. You can have your asexual swear. They can be rude, like to dance dirty, have crude humour, literally! Anything! Any! Other! Character! Can! Be!

8. Your ace character can be sex repulsed, but do not have that be the defining characteristic of your character. Give them personality.

9. Do not write an ace character just to have your protagonist *suffer* because they love them, but won’t satisfy them sexually. That’s gross.

10. If your whole point of having an asexual character is to have them meet “the one” and “cure” them of Asexuality, DO NOT WRITE AN ASEXUAL CHARACTER.

There’s three main groups: the flexors and extensors each take one half of the forearm, and the ridge muscles sit on top like a little tiara. Each group has it’s own unique form. Learning their anatomy will help you design awesomely dynamic arms.

Let’s try to make forearms manageable to draw. This is a body part most artists don’t quite understand. It can be real intimidating if you don’t know the muscles.

The arm has a simple chain design and the forms interlock down the arm.

To avoid the snowman effect, use straight, angular lines and look for asymmetries. Compare the apex of both sides of the forearm to understand the curvature better. Notice that the flexors reach lower on the wrist than the extensors and ridge muscles.

Look for this kind of thing when you’re drawing the gesture of the muscle groups. A wave rhythm where the curve on one side leads into the next curve on the other side.

started watching Haikyuu last night (s2) but i couldn’t figure out where i left off! i started watching it around the time it was airing but i had also been keeping up with the manga before then. now that i watched it i couldn’t remember if i’d seen the episodes or had read them so i may or may not have rewatched like 9 episodes before i felt i’d finally found my place xD

i think my favorite part of s2 so far has been the training camp (the parts with Tsukki, owl dude, and Kuro) and the bathroom scene where Iwaoi, ushijima, date tech, and hinata are having this major showdown by the bathroom bc stuff like that always happen when hinata’s trying to relieve himself LOL
