This has probably already been pointed out a million times and I don’t pretend to have a way with words but I’ll try:

One thing I love about good omens is the visual storytelling, and the way in which Aziraphale and Crowley approach interior decor provides an insight into the journey they take as characters.

Take Aziraphale’s bookshop, it couldn’t contrast more with the stark and soulless minimalism of Heaven, he loves clutter and mess and you can tell this space is a reflection of who he is as a person. The set design here shows that rebellion against heaven doesn’t just lie in doing evil and consorting with the enemy but also in appreciating and surrounding himself with the things that bring him joy.

Then there’s Crowley’s flat, this time a brutalist and spacious middle finger to the dark and dank corridors of hell. His appreciation of art and plants and light is reflected in this space and once again goes to show that rebellion really can be as simple as distancing himself from the looks and ideals of the place he has come from.

TL;DR the good omens set designers kick ass and I can’t wait to see more from them in series two

some of u r so entitled and it’s lowkey a part of what makes current fandom environment so much worse than it used to be. crowley and aziraphale are non-binary heavenly entities who are canonically in love with each other. we had queer ao3 subplot this season between a coffee shop owner and a record shop owner. crowley and aziraphale KISSED. and it’s still not enough just because it was angsty? because the writers chose for aziraphale to be in character (aka weighed down by 6000 + years of religious trauma and his own personal issues)? aziraphale isn’t strong enough to run away from everything and everyone with crowley. not yet. but he’s a character who is growing. some of you have been threatening for months that you would harass neil & others involved if there wasn’t a kiss, and they gave us one. an incredibly painful but incredibly believable kiss. and intent for a continuation of the story where aziraphale will finally choose humanity/crowley for good. but nooooooooooo that’s not good enough? k.

very scared that the tumblrinas are gonna miss the point of the barbie movie and write ken x ken fanfiction and ken is gonna be their little blorbo and they’re going to say that barbie is evil for the way she treated ken. don’t even get me started on how scared i am that they’re going to say the ending sucks because the kens and barbies weren’t equal

Aziraphale knowing how to use fire arms while Crowley has absolutely no fucking clue

Crowley risking his own neck during biblical crisis to save animals and children

Their meetcute actually having happened before Crowley fell

Crowley refusing to go back to heaven

They. They do dance. God Herself lied to us in series 1 because together, they do dance.

Crowley being a goddamn arch angel (or something)??
