Backstory:

Zoey was more or less born into wealth, but that wealth had come at a price. Her father, Rozric, took over an arms dealership before it gradually developed into a cult and gained a cult following under his ownership. Zoey and her younger siblings, Gavril and Zayne, were trained by their father to be assassins for his cult group and would have been severely punished if they were to disobey him.

As children, the triplets wanted to find a way to escape their very much abusive home but that plan came to a halt when their mother, Ayra, attempted to take the triplets with her in order to escape, instead. She was never seen again after that, and for years, their father would never say what happened to her except that, “She left on her own accord in exchange to leave the triplets with him.”

By the time the triplets were in their teens, Zayne secretly purchased a burner phone and with their older siblings, got the police to raid their father’s compound in the Scottish countryside. Zoey barely made it out alive after her father blew up the compound and left her right arm completely crushed and needed to be amputated. Their father was found alive and immediately arrested, and sentenced to life in prison at the Broadmoor Hospital.

The triplets went into their grandparents’ care and tried their best to fit in in high school, with little success on Zoey’s end. She would get into fights over just her existing or other students picking on her middle brother, Gavril, for his height and shyness.

Her fighting had gotten to the point where her concerned grandparents brought up the idea of joining the British military to possibly help her. Feeling insulted, she left home for the night and needed time to think about it.

She came back the following day seeing both her younger siblings talking to their grandparents about the same topic, with Gavril considering the Royal Air Force, and Zayne the M16. She still felt protective of her younger siblings, but she knew the two of them would be okay on their own; and she gave them her answer: she’ll join, even if that meant being able to stay away from their father if he ever tried to ask for visitation.

At 17, the Kilduffs began their respective recruitment processes and were able to graduate their recruiting classes roughly at the same time, with Zoey taken under the guidance of then Warrant Officer C2 John Price.

Zoey has served in the royal army going on 14 years, utilizing the assassin training her father put her through, successfully joined the SAS and has since been known as Staff Sgt. Doe by Capt. Price.

For some reason, I feel like Philip Graves would try and call Zoey the g-slur on numerous occassions

Zoey and Ghost being absolutely exhausted (and traumatized) from another mission that when they get home, they just do their best to care for the other in silence before she breaks down crying first

And Ghost holds her while crying silently himself and trying to calm her down

Ghost holding Zoey tighter: “I know, love… I know… I-I’m just as tired as you are. H-Hey, don’t cry…”

Zoey: “M’sorry…”

Oh, yeah, they be holding each other even in the shower scared one’s gonna go before falling asleep with each other

When I say that man will hold onto her, Simon will not let go. He has an iron grip on her; and he doesn’t care if she’s getting his chest wet from her tears

Zoey will flinch if Simon starts to raise his voice around her for whatever reason before he walks away to cool himself off. It’s one thing to yell at someone, it’s another to see his wife get frightened during a small fight and almost wanting to cry

Ghost knows Doe is more capable of being emotionally vulnerable around him, but he’s afraid to be the same with her, and he hates himself for it

But when he does have his most vulnerable moment, his crying is loud, choppy, and hiccups in between

He tries to not wake her up, but Zoey ofc gets woken up by him and it’s the first time she’s seeing her husband look at her with tears in his eyes, struggling to put the mask back on, and so… hurt

Ghost tries to look away but Doe takes his mask in her hand and gently puts it over his face then hug him

Simon 100% empathizes with Zoey in her relationship with her father and understands the trauma he, her father, put her through

Ghost will always be right behind Zoey whenever she gets visitation time with her father in prison; but the look Ghost gives the man, after everything Zoey told him, makes his blood boil the longer he looks at her father

“I don’t wanna fuckin’ hear it, old man. If, and whenever, you get out, and you dare to try and come near me, or my wife, I will fuckin’ kill you.”

Will ask her constantly if she’s okay, and result pending, will make sure she is in fact okay

Enter Simon seeing her look disgusted by it and hugging her from behind then rubbing the stump, humming to her and holding her against his body so she can feel the vibrations from his humming

Holding each other constantly because they fear losing each other in the battle field

Zoey’s the biggest source of his happiness and humanity he’s got and he cannot afford to lose her

Oh, and forehead touches

Forehead touches while they tell each other things will be okay in their softest voices, or even talk about their fears to each other

Zoey: “Yer still human, Si. Yer allowed to say what it is yer afraid of…”

Ghost: “I know…”

Zoey smiling and a tear down her face: “… It’s okay, luv… I’m here.”

Simon, swallowing the lump in his throat and fighting back tears: “I… I’m just afraid to let you go…”
