Disney Fairies Perfume Cream

I bought this recently, truthfully only for the tin. It’s beautiful; my crappy pictures don’t do it justice. I immediately loved it because it had Bess and Fira on it, and Tink in her book look. I’m not even sure I know what perfume cream is, but I had to have this.

The Ballroom in Pixie Hollow Online during Sports Camp. This bothers me. Why is there a swimming pool? Isn’t it well established that fairies can’t swim because of their wings dragging them down? I mean, I know the movie-verse is a lot less strict in this than the book-verse, but at least it was shown that wet wings were undesirable (GFR, TPF). This is the first time I’ve seen a very clear sign that fairies do swim (at least in the game-verse, which one might argue is also slightly different from the movie-verse).

Or is this another instant of Disney blatantly ignoring Rani?

Great news, pixies - the Alpha Update is now live!

You probably saw our trailer for this update a few days back. We’re pleased to announce that the update is now playable at wethepixies.net!

A few very important reminders: 

In a rush to play? Use the backslash key ( \ ) to skip the intro.

We’re still working out server needs, and it’s possible that we have a few problems at first, so bear with us! We need to get multiplayer stabilized before we add accounts. 

If you experience a bug, fill out the “Report a Bug” form above the game window - try to give us as much info as possible about the circumstances when the bug occurred. 

Mobile play is still not recommended - for now, you’ll get the best gameplay through a regular computer or laptop.

There is a problem with the Safari 14 release that makes playing WTP impossible. Until that problem is fixed, you’ll want to use another browser.

In case you missed the trailer (or want to jump straight into the game), here’s a quick rundown of what we’ve added:

Basic multiplayer - find new friends, or meet up with old ones!

Chat function - Tell a joke, compliment someone’s outfit, or just say hi. 

Basic profiles - get to know other players.

Schelly’s Shears - try on a new ‘do, check out our selection of flitterific hair dyes… or do both at once!

Making a Disney Fairies wooden mobile

While digging through my Fairies collection I came across this make-your-own-mobile kit I bought years ago. Since I was home sick (no corona, I’ve been tested) I decided to finally make it.

This was everything that was included in the kit. Below is a close-up on what I at first thought to be stickers but what turned out to be rub-on images.

And here is the finished model! As I’m terrible at visual arts I decided not to paint it. I did spray every piece of wood that had a picture rubbed on with transparant lacquer, as they didn’t seem to be too secure.
