π°πΆπ«π¬ππ°π¦π° β Lloyd's been working a lot lately and rarely coming home. It's been a pretty lonely December, so you take matters into your own hands. You'll get his attention one way or another...
a/n - you ever been fucked till you dumb? Well this is the best way I can describe that. I hope yβall enjoy!

The December nights are cold, but Lloyd's absence makes them a lot colder. His work consumes him entirely, leaving me alone in our home, yearning for that man's deadly touch that seems worlds away. The city lights are my only comfort, but tonight, I plan to change that.
The hum of surveillance screens and tapping of keyboards fills the dark room as Lloyd sits back, holding a photo of his target and waiting to hear some good news. He swirls half a glass of whiskey in his hand as he lets out a harsh breath of impatience in response to the employees' failure to useful present information. His brow furrows as he rubs his temples.
"Come on, guys, give me something. Anything!" He shouts loudly in an irritated tone. It'd been a while since he had a target this difficult to find. The employees flinch at the hostility in his voice and glance at each other. A young man, one of the employees, hesitantly raises his head from his screen to make eye contact with Lloyd, as he attempts to speak up. The man's words come out shaky and hesitant as he speaks in a trembling voice, clearly afraid of Lloyd's reaction to whatever he has to say.
"W- Well, Sir," He stutters nervously before speaking in a soft tone with an uncertain look in his eyes, "...We...we're trying... b-but we haven't been able to... track him down. It's almost impossible t- to find a lead on him..."
"Almost impossible," Lloyd echoes menacingly as he stands up, chuckling to himself and setting his glass down. His expression becomes even more cold and heartless as his intimidating glare turns towards the young worker. "I don't give a donkey's dick how hard it is to find him! I don't pay you shitheads for your excuses. Now, do your goddamn jobs and we can all go home, sound good?" He says in a condescending tone.
The young man lowers his head out of fear, remaining silent along with everyone else in the room No one dares to speak another word, not wanting to anger their boss any further. The only sound to be heard is the harsh breathing of Lloyd as he slumps back down in his seat, his icy blue eyes glaring at the large screen, searching for any ideas on where to find this guy. He takes another sip from his glass. It seems like this is going to be a long night.
Meanwhile, at home, I find myself dressed in my best lingerie, moving through the place while drinking a glass of red wine. I check myself out in the mirror in the hallway, smiling contently as I tease my hair a bit. The lights are dimmed and I make my way to the living room, where I have my laptop set up.
Sitting on the couch, I set my glass down and start tapping away on my computer. A mischievous smirk plays on my face as I access the screens at Lloyd's location, causing them to go dark for a moment.
At the center of the room, seated at his desk, Lloyd notices the sudden flickering of the screens in front of him before they all simultaneously go dark.
"What the hell happened?!" He asks in irritation. He glances around searching for a source of the interference, unable to determine what the issue was.
"You!" He points to one of his employees, who looks nervously back at him. "Get these shits back on now!" He demands as he stands up abruptly, his chair falling back from the force.
"I- I- I'm trying, Sir. It seems like something is interfering with the connection-" He's unable to finish his sentence as he's grabbed by the collar and Lloyd glares angrily into his eyes. He throws out threats of what will happen if the screens aren't up and running in the next ten seconds, not quite realizing that his screens are being accessed remotely by a rather clever woman who seems to have a plan brewing in her mind.
The terrified man struggles to speak while trying to free himself from Lloyd's iron grip. Lloyd lets out a harsh growl as he watches his workers try to fix the problem quickly. The atmosphere is thick, most of them too scared to concentrate properly under the pressure.
In an instant, the screens come back on. However, instead of footage of the target, it seems they are broadcasting live surveillance of Lloyd's home. Confused, he lets go of his employee, staring at the screen. His eyes widen when he sees me, wrapped in a black silk robe, sprawled out on the bed as I sip some wine.
"What the hell?" Lloyd is taken by surprise as he's unable to take his eyes off the screen, completely perplexed by the unexpected scene. He raises an eyebrow as he watches me lounging on the bed, my seductive red lips slowly sipping from my glass as I look directly into the camera. He knows this is my doing. Suddenly, his anger and frustration from the previous moments dissipate.
His employees look around at each other in confusion, unsure of what was going on.
"Goddamn it," Lloyd whispers to himself, annoyed with the situation, yet somehow drawn to the sight of my bare legs peeking out from the robe. My dark skin gives off a soft glow in the low lighting, mesmerizing everyone in the room. Still unable to look away, he takes a few steps closer to the screen, his gaze following every single movement of mine.
I bite my lip as I tug on the tie that holds my robe together, causing it to fall open. Underneath, he and everyone in the room can see my lacy red lingerie on the screen. There's an audible gasp from all the employees in the room as the screen lights up with the unexpected visuals, everyone's eyes immediately drawn to my seductive undergarments that cling to my body perfectly and reveal every curve.
Lloyd is completely captivated by the sight, my eyes shooting naughty glances at the camera as if begging him to come to me. The room is completely still as everyone stares at the screen, too stunned by my sexy reveal to do anything else.
Diverting his attention to the group and realizing that the entire room has their gaze fixed on my show on the monitor, Lloyd furrows his brow in anger.
"What the hell are you looking at?!" He shouts furiously, his darkening glare sending chills down their spines as they realize what they'd been doing. They immediately turn away from the screen and nervously look elsewhere. Lloyd looks back at the screen. I take another sip of wine before tipping the glass, letting the wine trickle down my gorgeous body as I continue to stare into the camera. The more he watches, the more aroused he becomes. The image of me teasingly stroking my body burned into his mind, reminding him of what was waiting for him at home. He just better not keep me waiting too long.
Lloyd swallows hard as he reaches into his pocket and dials my number into his phone, pressing it tightly to his ear and waiting to hear my voice.
I smirk as I hear my phone vibrating beside me. I take my eyes off the camera, answering the phone as I toss my hair over my shoulder.
"Hello~" He almost lets out a groan from the sound of my sultry voice. His eyes are still glued to the screen as he watches me cross my legs. Despite the distance between us, he can't stop himself from fantasizing about every single thing he'd do to me if he were with me.
"Why, hello..." Lloyd starts in a husky tone, his words coming out a bit slower than usual. "Being naughty now, are we?"
"I have no idea what you're talking about..." I lie, looking back into the camera. "I'm just sitting here, enjoying a glass of wine. How's work? You must be so busy right now." While my tone is innocent, my mischievous smile gives me away.
"Uh-huh..." He can't hide his smirk as he notices my sarcasm. He knows I'm being playful and trying to stir him up. Despite his frustration over the earlier situation, he can't help but find my teasingly seductive attitude amusing and attractive. "Work is... work. Busy as always." He pauses for a moment to chuckle to himself. "But, the funniest thing just happened over here. Care to guess what that is?"
"Oh, baby, you know I'm bad at guessing games. I always guess wrong." I reply, fake pouting. I can almost hear the smirk on his face growing wider. He's enjoying this back-and-forth teasing, it's hot! It's a game, like a dance, I have to keep moving to his rhythm.
"That's okay, cupcake," Lloyd replies, his tone turning seductive. "If you guess wrong, I have a few ways to make you... beg for the correct answer~" I can feel the heat rising all over my body, his words slowly and menacingly turning into something more suggestive and threatening. I try not to show how much the sound of his smooth voice and cocky attitude is affecting me, but I'm getting turned on more and more by every word he speaks. I almost lose concentration on what I was planning, but I stand my ground.
"I have no idea what could be going on over there, honey. Did you get that target you were after?" I ask coyly, standing up from the bed and walking over to the nightstand to set my glass down. I put the phone on speaker as I let my robe fall to the floor, revealing a thong with a chain with Lloyd's name engraved in it. I act as if I don't know the camera is there, or that he's in a room full of people and I climb back onto the bed, leaning back against the pillows.
"Not yet, Princess. I've got a new task tonight," He tells me, making me curious.
"Oh really? And what's that?" I inquire.
"Santa's gotta punish someone who's on the naughty list." He hangs up the phone, and I have to try and contain my excitement, knowing I'm still on their screens. I stand back up, taking my glass to the kitchen to refill it while I eagerly wait for Lloyd's arrival.
Once my glass is filled, I make my way back to the bedroom, picking a record out from our collection. I set it on the record player and set the mood, smiling to myself. It's only a matter of time before he gets here and, knowing him, he's running every red light and cutting everyone off to get to me. As the record starts to play, I sit back on the bed, letting the sensual music fill the room. I close my eyes as I lean back, fantasizing about the things Lloyd is gonna do to me. I picture what will happen when he first walks through that door, finding me with my legs spread and his name engraved on my thong. Just the thought excites me.
βAnd there she isβ¦" Lloyd mutters under his breath as enters the room and spots me, sitting on the bed, looking incredibly delicious. He leans against the doorframe, hands in his pockets as he smirks at me. I open my eyes and sit up, startled slightly by his sudden presence.
βYouβre home early,β I say, regaining my composure. I try not to melt under his smoldering gaze as he stalks towards me.
βYou miss me?β He questions with a crooked grin.
"Of course, I missed you. It's been a while since you've been home. A girl like me gets lonely pretty quick." I reply as I stand up, looking at him innocently.
"You poor thing," He teases sarcastically, his eyes running up and down my body as he looks down at me. He brings his fingers up and grazes the strap of my lingerie, caressing the fabric. He slides it off my shoulder and I can literally feel the heat radiating from his proximity to me as he stands towering over me, the smell of his cologne enveloping me.
"You must be so proud of yourself, Y/N..." He starts.
"For what, darling?" I feign ignorance as if I don't know exactly what he means. Without warning, Lloyd grabs me by the throat and pulls me towards him. I inhale sharply at the unexpected action as he leans down.
"That stunt you pulled was clever, cupcake. I'm impressed." He whispers against my neck. I feel the heat rushing to my cheeks as I hold onto his wrist to support myself. " I hope you're ready for the consequences~" I can literally feel the power of his hold on my neck as he brings his lips even closer to mine, making my throat tighten under his grip. His breath is hot against my skin as he breathes into my ear. His words send shivers through my core.
"You can play innocent all you want," He growls out lowly, his free hand moving down to grip my thigh possessively. Lloyd pulls me even closer against his growing bulge. "I'm gonna enjoy punishing you." I can't help but tremble slightly as his words fill me with a mix of excitement and fear. A smile widens across my face as I press myself against his crotch and lean into his touch, allowing myself to enjoy the feeling of his strong hands on my body and the adrenaline rushing through me. It's a challenge to keep my knees from buckling.
"You know, I've always wondered what it would be like to break you." His grip on my throat tightens slightly as his hand moves up my thigh, dangerously close to where he knows my body aches for him. "But first, you're going to get on your knees for me." I gulp audibly as he releases my throat, leaning against his body. "On your knees... now..." The fact that I'm unable to resist him is even hotter. I slowly move down till my eyes are level with this groin.
"That's a good girl," Lloyd's fingers tangle themselves into my hair, pulling my head back and forcing me to look up at him. He starts to undo his belt buckle and unzips his pants. I don't break eye contact as I reach up to pull his boxers down, revealing his thick, hard length to me. My mouth falls open instinctively, watering with anticipation. His free hand slides down my cheek, tracing the line of my jaw.
"I'm going to take you apart piece by piece and I'm gonna love every second of it." He guides my head forwards, forcing his throbbing cock into my eager mouth. He groans deeply as I take him in all the way, his grip on my hair tightening. He starts to thrust gently, pushing deeper into my throat each time. I moan around him as my tongue swirls against his skin. Tears prick the corners of my eyes as my throat stretches to accommodate his size.
Lloyd thrusts into my mouth slowly, inching deeper every time and barely allowing me room to breathe. I grip his thighs tightly as I focus hard to prevent myself from gagging. I look up at him with doe eyes as his cock pulses in my mouth.
His eyes darken further, watching my struggle. He pulls back slightly, giving me a moment to catch my breath before pushing back in deeper, causing me to let out muffled moan as he hits the back of my throat. He looks down at me, his breath heavy as he picks up speed. "That's it, baby. Take all of me."
As I feel the familiar sting in my throat, I can't help but whimper around his cock. My eyes roll back, my body shuddering with need. I try to match his rhythm, bobbing my head up and down on his thick shaft. I squeeze my eyes shut as he assaults my throat, slobber dribbling down the sides of my mouth.
Lloyd's fingers dig into my hair as he leans forward, his hips slamming against my face. He growls low in his throat, the vibrations causing my entire body to tremble. With one last forceful thrust, pulling my head as close as possible, he finally releases me. I gasp heavily as I fall forward onto my hands, whimpering softly as I catch my breath.
Lloyd's breathing is ragged as he watches me recover. His hands shake slightly as he tries to regain control. βOn the bed, naughty girl. Weβre not finished yet.β Trembling slightly, I scramble onto the bed, my body aching for more of his touch. He tosses heβs shirt to the side and steps out of his pants and boxers, flexing his muscles slightly as he approaches me. My eyes never leave his as he climbs onto the bed, towering above me. βUh-uh, princess. Turn over and toot that ass up real nice for me.β
I obey his command, rolling over onto my stomach. My heart is pounding in anticipation as I feel him approach from behind. He unclips my bra in one swift motion and I toss it onto the floor. Lloyd's hands run over his engraved name on my thong and then grip my hips tightly, moving the fabric to the side as he positions himself at my entrance. He rubs his length against my soaked slit, eliciting another whimper from me. With a growl, he forces himself inside, inch by inch, stretching me into submission.
βOh fuck, Y/N, youβre so fucking tight,β he groans, pounding into me. I arch my back, trying to take more of him. His hands roam down my sides, digging into my flesh as he takes me harder and faster. I moan out as my hands ball up the sheets. The headboard slams into the wall as Lloyd pounds into me, his skin slapping against mine. He leans over to grab my hips, pulling me back into him.
He forces my face into the bedsheets as he pushes his full length into me. My screams of pleasure reverberate off the walls, the only other sounds heard being the sloppy smacking of his cock into my wetness. I feel the climax rising within me, my pussy dripping as he pushes me closer and closer to the edge. I heave heavily as I try my hardest to hold it in. But Lloyd doesnβt make it easy.
He smacks my ass hard, leaving a visible handprint in my dark skin. The sting of it only serves to turn me on even more.
βYouβre such a slut, getting turned on this much by your punishment!β He grunts as he smacks my ass again, causing me to yelp in pleasure.
βIs this what you wanted, cupcake?β He questions as he thrusts harder and yanks my head back by my thick curls. βYou wanted my attention so bad you went and messed with my toys?β I gasp as I feel him hit that spot inside me over and over again. I can only respond with unintelligible nonsense between my moans, Lloydβs hips slamming into my ass with punishing force. He's relentless, driving into me with a fierce determination that leaves me breathless.
Unable to hold it any longer, my orgasm flows over me and I soak him, the sheets, and my thong with my juices. Although he doesnβt slow down. Instead he continues to drill into me, splashing my arousal all over the sheets. He uses his grip on my hair to pull me towards him as he fucks me senseless.
My voice comes out hoarse and strangled as I feel lightheaded. βI-I canβt take any more,β I manage to choke out between pants, my voice shaky.
"Oh, you can take it," he growls, pulling out only to slam back in with a force that steals what little breath I had left. His hands grip my hips tightly, his fingers digging into my flesh as he takes me roughly. As if sensing that I was about to collapse, he picks up the pace, driving deeper and harder. My body tenses, anticipation coursing through me.
"Lloyd!" I scream his name, my body quaking violently under his assault as my second orgasm crashes over me like a tidal wave. My voice echoes in the room as my walls clench around him. He groans deep in his throat, his own release imminent.
Lloyd grunts and grits his teeth as he comes, his hips ramming into me with an unyielding ferocity. He bites down hard on his lip to suppress a scream as he spills his cum deep inside me. The force of his orgasm is enough to send shudders through my body. He lies there for a few moments, his weight pinning me to the bed.
Finally, he pulls out of me with a loud, satisfied moan. His hands run through his sweat-drenched hair, abs glistening in the light. He pants heavily, watching as my body falls in a slumped heap on the bed, cum dripping out of my cunt.
βNow, you gonna be a good girl for me and let Daddy get his work done?β He asks me in a husky voice as a small smirk plays at the corners of his mouth. Iβm still catching my breath, looking over at him with hooded eyes. I give him a slow nod, biting my lip gently.
βGood girls use their voice~β Lloyd reminds me, placing his hand on my hip and caressing it.
βYes, daddyβ¦ Iβll behave.β I respond, knowing full well I intend to act up again.
βThatβs a good girl,β he praises, rubbing my back softly.
βDo you have to go back right now?β I inquire as I watch him stand up.
Lloyd shakes his head, βNo, not yet. I have some time. Iβll deal with that shit show tomorrow.β He smirks at me, his eyes filled with mischief. He gives me a wink as he walks out of the room to go get something to clean me up with.
Meanwhile, back at work, all of Lloydβs employees stare at the live footage of his room, shocked, embarrassed, and slightly turned on by the show. If only Iβd remembered to turn off the broadcast. Oh wellβ¦

12 Days of Christmas Masterlist
Part 2 Here

"Wow! Okay, I think it's obvious that's the winner right there." James says in surprise.
"What can I say? We've just got that creative touch." I say, putting my elbow on the snowman. Unfortunately, it wasn't packed together sturdy enough and my added weight caused it to crumble and me to fall on top of it.
"Naomi!" Ashanti shouts, annoyed that I ruined the snowman. Michael rushes over to help me up as Dan, Teresa, and James all laugh at the sight. Michael is laughing a bit too, but he makes sure I'm okay and pulls me to my feet. I brush snow off my bottom and chuckle at my clumsiness.
"Oh shit, I didn't mean for that to happen." I rub my neck sheepishly and look over at Ashanti, who looks livid. "You okay, Ashanti?"
"No! I'm not okay! You always ruin everything!" She shouts angrily. We all look at her in confusion, wondering where this all came from.
"What do you mean? I thought we were having fun." I respond, attempting to diffuse the tension.
"No, you're always stealing the spotlight!" She retorts, her voice sharp.
"Whoa, calm down, Ashanti. She didn't mean to ruin the snowman." Michael intervenes, trying to ease the escalating situation. But Ashanti, fueled by jealousy and frustration, continues her tirade.
"No, Michael! She's always stealing the spotlight! Trying to be the center of attention with her stupid ideas," Ashanti crosses her arms as I stare at her, taken aback by the sudden outburst.
"Stupid ideas? This was supposed to be a fun activity. Why are you so upset?" I question, trying to understand.
"Because you always have to be the special one, don't you? You can't stand anyone else getting attention," She accuses, her eyes narrowing. "Always pretending to be all cute and clumsy, always trying to be the one everyone likes. It's pathetic, really." Her words cut deeper than expected. The atmosphere grows tense, and I feel a mixture of hurt and anger welling up inside me. Michael and Dan exchange uneasy glances, unsure what to do. Teresa tries to calm the situation.
"Come on, guys, let's not do this here. Let's just go back to having fun." She says, trying to hype us up again, but to no avail.
"No, she needs to hear this, Teresa. You can act innocent all you want, Naomi, but you're not fooling me. Everyone falls for your act, but I see right through it. You're manipulative, Naomi. Always trying to make people sorry for you." I glance at Daniel, hoping for support, but he seems caught in the middle, unsure of how to navigate this awkward conversation.
"Enough, both of you." James interjects, trying to diffuse. "You're ruining this for all of us with this unnecessary drama."
"It's not unnecessary, James. She needs to hear the truth," Ashanti retorts, her anger only growing.
"The truth? You're making baseless accusations and I'm just supposed to sit back and take it? Hell no." I fire back, my frustration boiling over.
"Baseless? Look at you, falling around like a toddler, trying to make Michael feel sorry for you. You're always playing the victim. And he's been falling for it all day," She sneers, gesturing towards Michael.
"That's not fair, Ashanti. Naomi hasn't done anything wrong," Michael finally speaks up, unable to stand her bashing me. Ashanti looks offended.
"Of course, you'd defend her. You always seem to prefer her over me," She accuses, her jealousy showing.
"I'm not choosing anyone. But I won't stand here while you attack her for things that obviously make you insecure."
"Michael, can't you see she doesn't care about anyone but herself? She's only pretending to be this interesting, edgy girl because that's the only way people can notice her. Quite frankly, it's disappointing you can't see how she's trying to manipulate you to not like me."
"That's enough!" I snap, unable to contain my anger any longer. "If I make you so miserable and you can't stand to be around me so much, why don't you just leave?" The silence is loud as she glares at me, before huffing.
"Fine! Maybe I will!" She turns and stomps off angrily, leaving the group in an awkward silence. I grunt in frustration as I watch her leave.
"Naomi, maybe you should go after her." James suggests, trying to be a voice of reason.
"No, I'm done playing her games. She wants to walk away? Fine," I reply, my tone strong. "Maybe she'll finally realize everything isn't about her."
"I'll go after her." Teresa says, leaving to follow her cousin. Dan puts a comforting hand on my shoulder.
"You didn't deserve that, Naomi. She's just... I don't know what her deal is." He says with a sigh.
"I don't know, maybe there's something else going on that we don't know about." James suggests, shrugging his shoulders.
"The audacity she has to accuse me of all that stuff, when I've had to put up with that from her since we were kids!" I frown angrily, my hands clenching again.
"Let's just take our minds off that for now. We can't let it ruin our whole day. How about we explore the market a bit more?" Dan suggests and James and Michael nod in agreement. Reluctantly, I agree, realizing that dwelling on negativity won't do me any good.
As we start to walk through the market, the vibrant lights and festive atmosphere fail to fully lift my spirits. The encounter with Ashanti keeps replaying in my mind, leaving me feeling a mix of frustration and hurt. I trail behind the boys and Michael slows down until he's walking beside me.
"Don't believe any of what she said, Naomi. She's just projecting onto you and that's not fair." He speaks softly. I sigh and glance up at him.
"I know, but it's still frustrating," I admit. His presence offers me some comfort, a reminder that not everyone interprets situations like how Ashanti did.
Meanwhile, Teresa catches up with Ashanti, finding a quieter section of the market where the snowfall adds a serene touch to the surroundings.
"What do you want, T?" Ashanti snaps, her frustration still evident.
"Just checking on you. What happened back there?" Teresa inquires, genuinely concerned.
"I don't wanna talk about it," Ashanti mutters, avoiding eye contact.
"Look, I get that something upset you, but taking it out on Naomi like that wasn't fair. She's our cousin, and she doesn't deserve that kind of treatment," She asserts, her protective instincts kicking in.
"You always take her side!" Ashanti shouts, turning away.
"I'm not on anyone's side, but I won't stand by when you're treating people unfairly. Sort out whatever's bothering you, Ashanti, before it ruins more than just today," Teresa advises before leaving Ashanti to her thoughts.
Back at the market, I'm walking with Michael as we've split up from Daniel and James. The sun has begun to set and it starts to get a bit colder. Michael smiles at me and places his arm around my shoulder as we walk, providing me a sense of warmth. He tries to get my mind off of the earlier confrontation and cheer me up.
"You know something else that's irritating?" He starts, his tone suggesting he has something to say.
"What's that?" I ask, raising an eyebrow as we walk. He takes a moment to reply.
"I haven't gotten to buy you a drink yet. A real one," He gestures to the market ahead. "We've been walking all day, so this is my chance." He grins and my eyes light up at the suggestion. I think for a moment, before cracking a small smile.
"I guess one drink can't hurt." I give in and Michael squeezes my shoulder, gently.
"Glad to see I haven't lost my charm." He says playfully, causing me to chuckle softly. "Just, this time, it's not gonna be hot chocolate. Let's change it up." I grin and nod in response. "I've got the perfect idea." Michael takes his arm from around my shoulder and grabs my hand, leading me into the market. His hand is warm against mine and he links our fingers, causing me to smile.
"It's just over here." He tugs my hand as he leads me through the crowd.
"What kind of drink did you have in mind?" I ask him. "Nothing too strong, please." I joke.
"Relax, I don't want to see you passed out on the floor." He answers before laughing. I roll my eyes and playfully slap the back of his hand in response.
"Okay, so what's this perfect idea?" I inquire with a smirk. Michael grins as we reach a small stand selling Christmas treats, hot cocoa, and other seasonal beverages before stopping and pointing towards the menu.
"Mulled apple cider." He says and I raise my eyebrows.
"I actually love that idea. They're nice and warm, but with a little bit of a kick. Love it." I nod in approval and we order two hot mulled ciders from the vendor.
"Here you go." The vendor smiles as he hands us our drinks. We all take them and move to find a spot to sit. After a few seconds of searching, we settle on a park bench away from the crowds. I take a seat and cradle the drink in my hands.
The mulled cider has a strong cinnamon smell, the heat warming the air around us. Michael sits down beside me, his own cider in one hand and the other placed on the back of the bench. We smile at each other as we take the first sips of our drinks.
"Mmmm, it's so good." I say, enjoying the warmth of the winter beverage. Our eyes meet but we go on drinking in silence. It's not awkward. We both know that we could talk if we wanted to but the peace is nice. Finally, after about a minute, Michael breaks the silence.
"Naomi..." He starts and I tilt my head in his direction.
"Yeah?"
"About what happened earlier. I just want you to know that I don't think those things about you. Not at all." He pauses for a moment as I listen intently. "And honestly, I don't think Ashanti does either. She just feels insecure about her image, and my arrival didn't make things any easier for her. But, whether she meant it or not, she's wrong about you." I didn't even realize how much I needed to hear that tonight, but his words seem to bring me some peace.
"Thank you, Michael. Really. I really appreciate it." I respond with a smile of my own. Our gaze lingers for a few more seconds, but I realize there's still something bothering me. Suddenly I turn to face him on the bench so we're sitting face to face.
"Can I admit something?" I hesitate. He nods and looks at me intently. I take a deep breath before speaking.
"I'm just as insecure as Ashanti," I confess, looking down into my mug. "I'm always trying to be cool and impressive, but I'm scared of looking dumb. It's like I'm not truly special to anyone." I glance over at Michael and I know he's listening carefully.
"My family is the most judgmental. Nothing seems to please them. I became a real estate agent, but it wasn't as good as Teresa's nursing job. I quit to be a full-time artist, and they say I'm throwing away all their hard work. Broke up with my cheating ex, and they say I should've paid more attention to him. Now that I'm almost thirty, they're nagging me about marriage and kids. What about what makes me happy?" I take a deep breath, feeling my eyes well up with tears.
Michael nods and I spill more, feeling vulnerable. "Their expectations are exhausting. I second guess every choice I make. Even if they're right, I don't want to live worrying about what people think. I want to live for me." I look up at Michael, his eyes still trained on me. I blush, realizing I've dumped a lot on him. He places a reassuring hand on my thigh.
"You know, I get it, Naomi. There's a lot of pressure on you to be perfect. But you don't have to be that. I see you for you. You're not perfect, but you're real. Don't be so hard on yourself." He smiles and takes my hand. I give him a small smile in return, grateful for his encouragement. His words resonate deep within me, creating a sense of warmth that goes beyond the heat radiating from the mulled cider. For a moment, I forget the chaos that unfolded earlier, and it's just Michael and me, sharing a connection.
"Thanks, Michael," I say, my voice a mix of gratitude and relief. "I really needed to hear that." He squeezes my hand gently.
"Anytime, Nao." He winks as he uses the nickname he gave me. "I'm happy to help." We share a cuddle on the bench, finishing our ciders. Michael breaks the silence again with a mischievous grin.
"You know," he starts, his eyes sparkling with playful intent, "as much as the scavenger hunt was a bust, there's still one thing I really wanted to check off our list."
"What is it?" I ask, my curiosity piqued. Michael smirks.
"Close your eyes and trust me." Raising an eyebrow, I decide to play along. Closing my eyes, I feel Michael taking my hand, lacing his fingers with mine once more and guiding me through the bustling market. He takes care to keep me from bumping into anyone or stumbling. As we walk, with my eyes closed, all I can focus on is the warmth and softness of his hands, making me feel at ease.
"Almost there." He whispers, excitement in his voice. A flutter of anticipation builds. The market sounds far and I realize we've steered away from it. Snow crunches under our feet as we come to a stop. "Now, open." Gasping, I find a beautifully adorned horse-drawn carriage before us, illuminated by twinkling Christmas lights in the trees. The festive carriage driver welcomes us with a warm smile.
"Surprise," Michael says, grinning that gorgeous smile as he gestures toward the carriage. Speechless, I take a moment to react.
"Michael, this is amazing. How did you...?" He chuckles, pulling me into his side.
"I saw them doing rides earlier today and I figured, if anything, this might somewhat salvage the evening." He glances over at me. "I hope you like it."
"Of course, I love it." I respond, still in shock at the gesture as I take in the magic of the moment.
"So, you wanna hop in? Or just stand out in the cold?" He asks teasingly, offering me his hand. I roll my eyes and grab his hand as he helps me into the carriage. As we get settled into the seats, the carriage lurches forward and the ride starts. As we're pulled down the snowy road, I look up and see the beautiful Christmas lights above us.
"Wow," I whisper in awe and smile brightly. "It's so beautiful." Michael smiles back and looks up as well.
"Yeah, it really is." He agrees. As the gentle rocking of the carriage and the peaceful night setting work in harmony, I feel my body relax more and more with each second.
I look over at Michael and his eyes are trained on me. I gaze back at him, noticing, once again, how striking his features are. He's handsome in such a unique way, with his deep, chocolate-brown eyes, his strong jawline, and his playful, almost cheeky dimpled grin that makes me want to melt every time I see it. He doesn't look away from me and I can't make myself look away either.
It seems like he's about to say something, but the sound of the horse whinnying as it trots on the snowy gravel draws our attention back to the moment. When we glance at each other again and I'm surprised by the intense way he's looking at me. His eyes study me carefully, as if he's trying to memorize every single detail about me; my skin, my expression, the way my lips move when I speak.
Out of nowhere, I begin to feel a bit shy, a warmth rising within me as I realize how close we are. I look back up at the lights, my cheeks turning red and out of the corner of my eye, I see Michael do the same. We sit there for a few moments, silently looking up at the lights, our bodies inching ever so slightly closer. Suddenly, I feel Michael's lips peck my cheek. I look over at him, pressing my hand to my cheek in surprise. He looks back at me, his gaze still focused intently on mine. He watches me, studying my reaction before bringing his fingers to rest underneath my chin.
"Come here..." His words send electricity through my body as he pulls me forward a few inches and presses his plump lips against my own in a gentle kiss. My eyes flutter shut as my breath grows shallow. His lips feel soft on mine and I can taste the sweetness of the mulled cider from before. Every nerve in my body sparks with heat as the world around us becomes muffled. He's tender and gentle, kissing me in a way that says he truly cares about me.
Michael pulls away for a moment, his thumb caressing my skin softly as it grazes across my bottom lip. He wets his lips slightly before pulling me back in for another kiss. This time, his touch is firmer, his tongue slipping its way into my mouth. I find my hands resting on either side of his neck, pulling him in deeper. He sets his hands on my hips, pulling me closer so that our bodies fit neatly together.
The kiss continues for a few more seconds before he finally breaks it, breathing heavily. He pulls his head back slightly as he looks at me. I'm completely speechless. I've never felt anything like this before. My heart is fluttering, my arms are weak, and my body feels like it's on fire.
Our moment is interrupted by the sound of the driver clearing his throat awkwardly. Michael turns to him and smiles apologetically.
"Sorry, my lovebirds. We're almost there, don't worry." I look up at the driver and give him a sheepish smile, my expression growing even redder if that's even possible. Before I can say anything, Michael cuts in.
"Heh. Lovebirds." He mocks the driver's words jokingly, his tone light and playful. He turns back to me and kisses my hand. "He knows what's up." I smile, feeling like I'm in a dream. We pull back to the place where we started and the carriage comes to a halt. The driver climbs down from his seat and opens the gate so we can leave. Michael gets out first and puts his hands on my waist, helping me down from the carriage. He tips the driver before pulling me by the hand to his side, wrapping his arm back around me.
"Did you enjoy the ride?" He asks, smiling down at me.
"The physical one or the emotional one?" I reply teasingly, causing Michael to laugh. "I did enjoy the ride," I admit, giving a bit of a shy grin.
"Good," he replies, his tone shifting to something more sincere.
"It's getting late." I sigh as I look at the time. Michael glances at his watch and nods in agreement.
"Yeah, we should probably get back before they start to worry." He replies, giving me a warm smile. I return the smile, turning to face him.
"Today was a lot... but you really turned it around for me. Thank you for that." Michael pulls me into a hug, his body engulfing me.
"Don't mention it. I didn't like seeing a frown on your face." He says as he lets go of me. "You look way prettier when you smile." I blush at his compliment, looking down at my feet as he takes my hand in his. He looks ahead as we make our way back to the family house, the festive lights and decorations still illuminating the winter night.
As we near the house, I can't help but to feel a mix of emotions. Today had unexpected turns, but it all worked out in the end. Mostly. As we step inside, we're met with the warmth of the home and all of the lights are off. It seems like everyone's gone to sleep. Michael and I slip off our shoes before quietly making our way up the stairs.
"Looks like everyone's down for the night," He says, peering into the hallway and seeing no lights.
"Hopefully we didn't keep them up." I whisper, trying not to make too much noise on the creaky floor. Michael turns to me, leaning against the wall as he gazes at me through the darkness.
"Hey, Nao," He starts and I look at him in curiosity.
"Yeah?" He looks off to the side for a moment, as if contemplating his next words.
"I know today wasn't perfect, but I really enjoyed spending time with you." He takes my hand in his again. "I know I've only been here for a day, but I already feel so close to you. I'm not exactly sure how to describe it, but I know exactly how I feel when I'm with you." He leans in and speaks softly, causing me to shiver. His smile grows brighter as I look up at him with affection. "And I gotta say, I'm pretty excited for tomorrow."
"I really can't tell you how much this means to me. I feel like I don't have to try with you. Everything just flows so naturally. I can't wait to spend more time with you." I reply, biting my lip slightly.
"You sleep well, Nao. Goodnight." He tells me, planting a kiss on my cheek.
"Goodnight to you too, Michael." I say back and he gives me that small, flirty nod he gave me when we first met as he turns and begins walking down the hall towards his room. I watch Michael leave, his warmth lingering as he disappears into the guest room. I stand there for a moment, absorbing the sincerity in his voice and the unexpected connection we've formed. As I enter my room, the quiet of the night surrounds me, and the events of the day play like a movie in my mind.
I take a deep breath and decide to capture the essence of the day on paper. I grab the cheap sketchbook Ashanti gave me yesterday, along with a few coloring pencils. The room is dimly lit by the soft glow of the streetlamps outside, casting a gentle ambiance.
I begin sketching, letting my hand move freely across the paper. The pencil captures the laughter, the awkwardness, the joy, and the unexpected intimacy that all came with today. The lines on the paper become a visual narrative, each stroke expressing the emotions that I experienced throughout the day. I feel a sense of regret as I recall how Ashanti and I acted towards each other. I feel grateful for the comfort I was given today.
As I continue to sketch, I am reminded just how much art has a way of helping me process my feelings. The notepad becomes a canvas for both the highs and lows of the day, a tangible representation of the emotional rollercoaster I've been on.
On another page, I capture the moment I had with Michael. The mulled ciders, the carriage ride, even our time by the fireplace this morning. I smile as I reminisce on this eventful day, feeling lucky to be where I am. I glance at the clock and realize how much later it has gotten. The exhaustion of the day catches up with me and I decide it's time to put the pencil down. I change into my pajamas and slide under the cozy covers of the bed.
With a contented sigh, I close my eyes, waiting for sleep to take me. Tomorrow is Christmas Eve, who knows what surprises it might hold. The room is filled with a quiet peace, and as I drift off to sleep, the events of the day soften into dreams, leaving behind the anticipation of what tomorrow might bring.
When I wake up the next morning, I feel sense of anticipation, eager to make the most of today. As I get ready, I take a deep breath, preparing myself for the day ahead. There's still a lingering tension in the air, especially with Ashanti, but I'm determined to make Christmas Eve memorable for everyone.
I head downstairs to find the family gathering in the living room, watching a movie. I say good morning to everyone and head into the kitchen to see if I can help. I get there to find just my aunts Tina and Pat preparing the Christmas Eve feast. I find a place to help out and smile to myself, chopping up some vegetables.
As I move around the kitchen, Ashanti enters, her eyes meeting mine briefly. There's a flicker of guilt in Ashanti's expression, a silent tension between us that, at some point, needs to be addressed. Although, I am not planning on being the one to start that conversation. She goes and sits at the kitchen table, scrolling on her phone. My aunt Tina looks over her shoulder and smiles.
"Oh, I loved that photoshoot you did, sweetie. You looked so fierce and powerful!" She compliments, putting her hand on Ashanti's shoulder.
"Yeah..." She replies, not looking up from her phone. Aunt Tina smirks and glances over at me.
"You know, Naomi, I want to apologize for the other day." She starts and I look up from my task with a raised eyebrow.
"You do?" I question and she nods.
"Maybe you're onto something with your art. At least it's better than jumping from job to job." She says, causing Aunt Pat to snicker a bit. I look over at Ashanti, who doesn't look up from her cellphone. "Ugh, the things I would do to be able to get paid to just doodle all day. Must be a dream." I sigh deeply, looking over at her.
"Aunt Tina, do you really think that art is just about sitting around and drawing whatever I want?" I ask her calmly.
"Well, honey-"
"No." I cut her off. "My job isn't that simple. It takes years to learn the skills I have. Art is a form of expression. It's like telling a story and it isn't always your own. It has a way of connecting people and cementing memories for years to come. I'm not some toddler with a crayon. To me, art is everything. Why can't any of you respect that?" I ask, gesturing to everyone in the room. My aunt Pat looks at me with a raised eyebrow.
"Mimi," She starts with a sigh, "you know we want nothing but the best for you." I clench my fist as I stare at her.
"See, that's another thing. If I'm being honest, a lot of my insecurities come from others telling me what they think I should be. I think it's time I start listening to what I want for a change."
"We're just trying to look out for you, sweetie. You're a bit reckless is all." Aunt Tina says, rolling her eyes.
"No, the problem is that you guys don't respect my choices or ambitions," I reply. "Thank you for the concern, but at the end of the day, it's my life." I say with a bit of sass.
"Whatever." Aunt Tina says, throwing her hands up. "Just do what you want. You always do anyway." Ashanti slams her hand down on the table and stands up.
"Will you stop, Mom?" She raises her voice, shocking us all. Ashanti takes a deep breath and points a finger at Aunt Tina. "It's one thing if you want to judge me and treat me like a child because I'm your daughter," She continues firmly. "But keep Naomi out of it! What she's doing is amazing and, I've got to admit, I'm jealous that she actually has the courage to do what she wants."
"Ashanti-"
"I'm not finished!" She cuts her mom off. "All my life, you've had a plan for who I was gonna be and what I was gonna do, but did you once ask me what I wanted to do? I just went along with it because I figured mother knows best. But I hate my life and I'm starting to hate the person I've become." I start seeing Ashanti in a new light, having heard this new bit of information. I'd always thought that she just didn't like me and that we were always at odds, but now I know why.
"Naomi and I used to be best friends, but because of how you raised me, I grew to despise her, when really I should've despised you. I've stood by my whole life and let you dictate my decisions, but I won't let you do that to my cousin. You have no right!" I stare at Ashanti, stunned by her outburst. I'm also a little relieved that someone finally stood up for me. Aunt Tina and Pat don't know what to say.
"If you guys are my real family, then you won't just want me to be a carbon copy of you." She says, a bit calmer. "And if you care about us and what's good for us, you'll respect our choices."
My aunts are silent, their smug expressions completely washed away. Aunt Tina sighs again, not wanting to admit that we're correct. Before she can say a word, my mom comes downstairs, wearing her best Christmas sweater. She immediately senses the tension in the room and steps in. "What's going on down here?" She asks, her tone firm and direct.
"Nothing, Mom. Ashanti and I were just leaving." I say, before heading out of the kitchen. Ashanti follows behind me and we make our way to the study.
The room is dark and quiet, Ashanti flipping on a light to see the room. The two of us share a look, the mood of the moment taking a sharp turn. Ashanti sits down on the couch, burying her face in her hands. I hesitate for a second before sitting down beside her.
"Ashanti, I'm so sorry." I offer, reaching my hand out to her. She doesn't respond right away, but she finally takes my hand in hers.
"No, I should be the one apologizing. I have been so unfair to you and I'm sorry for all I've put you through." The look she gives is one of guilt and regret. I give her a soft smile and she continues. "I've just been so angry for so long and I took it out on you. My mother would always pressure me to do exactly what she wanted me to do and I was jealous that you could do anything you wanted when we were growing up."
"Ashanti..." I say softly, giving her hand a reassuring squeeze. "I never knew you felt this way. I always thought your life was perfect and I felt like I would never amount to all the things you've accomplished." I admit.
"No ones life is perfect, Naomi. All those accomplishments, they weren't mine. They were my mother's. I just went along with everything, in hopes that I would make them proud. But nothing is ever enough." She takes a deep breath and looks me in the eye. "And I want to apologize for yesterday. I didn't mean any of those things I said. Honestly, I'm not doing as well as everyone says."
"What do you mean?" I question. There's a long pause as Ashanti considers her words, trying to get them right.
"You know how everyone's been talking about how successful I am?" She begins, seeming unsure of herself. I nod, listening intently. "Well, I'm struggling. A lot. My mother doesn't know this, but I lost my modeling job. My boyfriend and I broke up a few months and I'm about to be evicted!" She confesses, a tear running down her face. "That's why I've been so mean lately. I've been trying to keep up appearances but it's stressful as hell and it's even worse because Michael's here." My eyes widen as she tells me this, the words catching me off guard.
"You don't like that Michael's here?"
"I like Michael," She says, shaking her head. "I mean hello! He's Michael B Jordan, who wouldn't like him? But ever since he arrived, Mom has been pressuring me to seduce him. I hate it, I feel like some shallow bitch who annoys everyone. I just wanted to make my mother happy, but at what cost? I'm just making a fool out of myself and it's obvious that he likes you. I'm so tired of being fake. I can tell that no one likes me." She looks down at her lap, avoiding my eyes.
"That's not true," I defend. "Yeah, you get on our nerves sometimes and sometimes you make Michael a bit uncomfortable..." She gives a wry laugh as I speak. "But we all love to have you around. You may see yourself as fake, but we all know the real you. And we love being around you. Ashanti, even when you started being mean to me when we were kids, I still was excited to see you. And I'm glad to have you as my cousin. If I'm honest, your teasing made me want to do better. And your mom may have pushed you to be perfect, but every accomplishment is yours. You earned each of them. And I'm so proud of you, Ashanti." She looks up at me in disbelief.
"Really?" She asks, a shocked expression on her face. Her eyes are filled with tears and her shoulders are slumped. "But how can you say that when I've made things so difficult for you? I've been nothing but nasty to you."
"Because you're still my cousin." I reply with a gentle smile on my face. "It's true that you can sometimes be a bit much, but I still love you. Like you said, we both got on each others nerves when we were kids, but no one's perfect, especially when it comes to our family."
Ashanti wipes away her tears. "I appreciate that, Naomi. Honestly, I really think that you're such an amazing person. I'm just really bad at saying it." She says with a faint smile. "I'm really sorry for everything I put you through before and after Michael got here. I really do love you. Please forgive me?"
"Of course, I forgive you, Ashanti." I pull her into a hug, a real one. She hesitates for a second, before hugging me back. I give her a little squeeze as I missed this feeling with my cousin. She doesn't let go for a moment, before finally speaking again.
"Hey... can I ask you a favor?" She asks, her voice soft.
"Yeah, what is it?" I reply, prepared for whatever she might ask of me.

most people would say working with your significant other seems like a great time. Being around the one person you love more then life itself and earning a living at the same time? You couldnβt ask for a better deal. However, it did have its challenging moments..discipline and focus is an important part of anyoneβs employment. Regardless of the job but especially when tending to someoneβs beauty and esthetic needs, it was imperative to pay attention. Hence why your fiancΓ©e despised the fact that you were working alongside her as her new lash tech some days! Granted, she was thrilled to have you around and with an extra service and set of hands around, you guysβ income practically tripled. So it was a pretty sweet deal. However, you didnβt make it easyβ¦in fact, you acted as if giving her a hard time was your actual occupation..
βAre you sure we canβt just fill them in and work around it? Cβmon, Mika. You sure you canβt just do your magic?β
βSweetheart, how long have you been a client of mine? Iβm an artist, not a repair woman. Two things I refuse to do is fly coach and work over other peopleβs fuck ups. Now letβs soak these off so I can give you a fresh set. While youβre waiting, Armin can get you in the shampoo bowl. Since heβs sitting on his skinny ass, doing nothing.β
needless to say, it was never a dull moment! You guysβ hairstylist and resident smartass, Armin Artlert was currently seated in one of the styling chairs, typing away on his phone.
βAnd donβt forget looking cute. Just blind and grouchy.β
βWhatever. Help her before I suddenly find your replacement.β
it was obvious that the normally laid back nail tech was in rare form this morning. Not so much rude or angry but definitely on edge a little. The shop was a little busy but nothing more than usual for the Sugar and Spice Haus. It was normal for clients to be waiting outside the door so she couldnβt have been frazzled by that. So what exactly had her acting so strange? Perhaps it was a question better answered by the one person who knew her better than anyone else..and who ironically was the root cause of the issue!
βOh, donβt pay her any attention, yβall. Sheβs just a little worked up. Isnβt that right, baby?β
just then, a rather gleeful (y/n) would come traipsing from the back of the salon..strapless dress and sandals, holding a caddy full of lash supplies. In return, the only thing you were met with was a decorated middle finger and the roll of dark, doe eyes. Your fiancΓ©e was quite the bratty thing when she wanted to be but she was oh so cuteβ¦.
βOh shut up. Iβm not talking to you right now.β
hence why you took immense pleasure in teasing her among other things..something that began long before the two of you even opened shop this morning..

βOh God!β¦yes..right there!β¦β
βAw, is that your spot, baby? Are you gonna come?β
the high pitch, condescending coo spouting from your lips rang off into the ears of your very whiny and overstimulated fiancΓ©e. Who had just been sleep only twenty minutes prior or so it would appear. Because as the two of you awoke for the morning, ready to start another day in the home and salon you shared as not only lovers, but business partnersβ¦you were met with a rather pleasant surprise. Faint whimpers and the sight of your precious Mikasa grinding herself against her pillow. Her tits spilling from her tank top; fondled in her palms, hair brushing against the sheets and her panties tugged to the side as her bare slit rubbed profusely against the memory foam material. She had to have been in utter bliss from the sounds erupting from her mouth. Not only that, she looked so sexy..however, you knew it was rather unbecoming of your woman too. Granted, your sex life was anything but mundane and the two of you took any opportunity plausible to fuck, lick or kiss on one another. However, for the past few days or so, she seemed to be evading you. Claiming to be far too exhausted for any sort of sexual activity. Sheβd shower alone and even halt you if things got too intense. One would think that was indicative of infidelity and that their partner was with someone else. But alas, her dirty little secret came to light and needless to say, youβd return the pent up sexual frustration ten fold!..
βOh? Whatβs this?β¦β she just knew that once you unveiled the truth, youβd never allow her to live it down. And she was correct.
β(Y/N)..babyβ¦fuck me!..β
the truth was, she had snuck behind your back and acquired a clit piercing. More than likely from the same artist who had decorated her skin in the plethora of tattoos she sported. But what she hadnβt counted on was becoming so hypersensitive afterwards. It was one of those things that could go either way, depending on the person. Getting piercings in intimate area could either make you lose all feeling or make you super sensitive to the touch. For poor Mikasa, she was the latter to a fault! You wouldβve thought that she wouldβve learned her lesson when she got her nipples pierced and they sent her into a frenzy with something as simple as putting on a bra on. But you were more than happy to meet her request..flipping her over onto her back, (y/n) promptly shoved your tongue into her mouth; jaw agape and slack from being on the brink of climax. Her pierced nipples puffy and erect and of course..that adorable little clit; marked with a silver ball and bar going through it. It looked so cute and she looked even more precious..practically begging for you to claim her. Slick surrounded that fat pussy of hers and you just knew she was close.
βOh you poor thingβ¦youβve been holding out on meβ¦donβt worry, mama. Iβll take care of you..β
reassuring her with your lips honing on her neck. Tender kisses trailing down her throat and those fingers following suit to her mound. Tracing your digits across her freshly waxed skin, youβd tease around the area, refusing to touch the actual bud. βBut first..I need you to do sumβ for me, okay?β So gently cooing to her. At this point, she was desperate so she was at your mercy.
βYes, baby!..whatever you want..β
crying out as you moved your fingertips lower as well as your mouth, leaving them to hover over her jeweled nipples. Drawing a long trail of saliva along with you in the process. Thatβs when youβd shove those two opposite fingers between her lips and force her to suckle, drumming up her own spit. βSuck on these fβr me. Get them wetβ¦just like that.β Sheβd happily comply, knowing that youβd help her reach her peak soon. Whilst she was busy drooling and whining, youβd ease one digit inside of her with your thumb resting on her clit. She looked so helpless and vulnerable..turning you on more and more by the second. Mikasaβs back would raise from the bed as you pushed those digits knuckle deep into her core. Youβd feel them suction and tighten around you and continue pressing until they were stained with a sheath of milky white and sticky clear liquid..dripping all down your nails. You kept them short just for special instances like these. So you could pump them in and out her pretty pussy and watch her squirm, yelping for more.
βAh! Haaaaβ¦oh my god! Right there! Yesβ¦β
βAw, am I in your spot, baby? Are you gonna come?β
nodding her head profusely; your dormant thumb now tracing circles against her clit and even flicking that piercing for added stimulation. Needless to say, she couldnβt hold back any longer and seconds later, when you finally gave her permission, youβd find your arm, the sheets and anything surrounding you two drenched in her juices. Squirting everywhere..and became inconsolable afterwards. βThatβs it!β¦let it go, let it go for meee..squirt on those fingers.β Encouraging with loud cries ringing out through the bedroom. She was practically convulsing once you withdrew your fingers. Allowing them to drip, youβd dangle them over her lips and allow her to clean them off. βMmmhm..taste yourself, babyβ¦you look so pretty.β
running a hand along her torso and up to her throat yet again to wrangle her in for a kiss. Haven gotten a taste of her sweet essence, you decided to get your entire fill by finally leaving a trail of pecks leading to her pelvis before tousling your own side of the covers off and climbing on top of her. Without missing a step, youβd part her inked up legs and pin one back whilst intertwining the other with your own. From there, youβd tear off the thin lacy panties she was wearing off and put them to much practical use like gagging her. From there, youβd align your frothing slits and start grinding them against one another. Tugging down your own sports bra; dressed in only a bonnet and having fallen asleep with nothing on your lower half, you had become well aroused on your own from her little escapades. With that, Mika would buck her hips forward and work herself against you; meeting your thrusting with tearful pleas to keep fucking her. βDonβt stop, baby! Please donβt fucking stopβ¦β her voice was cracking but her words very concise and clear. Those perky tits bounced around underneath as she gripped the silk linen underneath your bodies. The smacking of your clammy folds and warmth made for a beautiful chorus of steamy, nasty sounds filling the atmosphereβ¦she wasnβt the only one feeling the pressure either because you soon found yourself nearing an orgasm. βIβm gonna come too, mamaβ¦fuck! You feel so good..β
laughing out of pure delirium and pleasure, unable to slow down in fear that youβd come on the spot. Those sticky juices smeared across each of your thick thighs as those lower lips meshed together. Eventually, youβd find yourself leaning down to let your tongues clash as well. βMmph! I love youβ¦β βI love you too, Mika! Fuck, babyβ¦come for me again..β
just then, sheβd follow your order and flail around as another stream of juices exited both of your bodies. Spraying up everything in the vicinity. Rubbing those finger pads against her throbbing bud, (y/n) drummed out more and more until she couldnβt spill another drop. You found yourselves going round for round..drawing out one anotherβs arousal and all that you had to offer. An hour or so had past; an array of positions from being seated on her face while you ate her out, to riding a double sided dildoβ¦
βYes, baby! You look so pretty riding that fucking dick..go deeper..β
to finally ended your rather heated session with your fingers intertwined as you played with yourselves. Massaging those clots to your final climatic rushes. Coming down in a powerful high with tears streaming down your faces and squirt pooling down your legs. All in all, it seemed that her little piercing was a success and rather useful investment.. βCβmere..that feel good?..β β..yeah..thank you, baby..so much.β Fucked out and dazed from being overly stimulated. But neither of you regretted a thing..that was until you made another proposal with a deviant glare on your face..reaching over into the dresser, youβd retrieve another device: a controller vibrator. One you planned to utilize on her throughout the work day!
βHell no, (y/n)! I canβt..β.
but it was too late..you had already placed it inside of her and would be utilizing it until you had your fill. You wanted to see how she fared with her little body modification when you were the one in control..and throughout an entire day of work.
maybe next time she wouldnβt keep such secrets from you!

12 Days of Christmas Masterlist
Part 2 Here

The Samuels family's Christmas is always a hit. Family comes from all over down to the small town of Leavenworth, Washington just to gather together for this holiday. This is where my grandmother and mother lives, keeping the roots strong. Although, we haven't really had a big family Christmas since before COVID hit, so this one is bound to be special.
Just a week ago, I completed a project for a high-paying client, affording me the luxury of having the entire week before Christmas off. Usually, I am booked up to my ears at this time, so I am grateful for the vacation. I got to the house late last night, and so far, only a handful of aunts, uncles, and a few younger cousins had arrived. As the sole young adult present, I find myself shouldering the full force of our family's 'charm'.
I wake up early this morning in my old bedroom, starting my day with a warm shower. Once I'm dressed and freshened up, I head downstairs, hearing some chatter. I greet my grandmother, who is on the couch, watching her shows. She is always excited to see me.
"Good morning, Grandmother." I say with joy as I give her a warm hug.
"Oh, my beautiful Mimi." She calls my childhood nickname, her hand reaching out to cup my cheek with a gentle tremor. "You are turning into such a beautiful and remarkable woman. I can't tell you how proud of you I am." Her eyes reflect pure love, and I can't help but return her smile. The connection between my grandmother and me is unique, given that I am her first granddaughter.
"Thank you, Grandmother. I'm so happy that I could get to come see you. I know I haven't been around as much since I moved to New York for work," I admit, a twinge of guilt behind my words.
"Don't you worry about that, dear. You're here now, and every moment with my grandbaby is a blessing," she reassures me warmly. "I think your mom and aunts are in the kitchen preparing breakfast. Why don't you go in and see how you can help?" She suggests.
With a nod, I rise from the couch, placing a tender kiss on her cheek before making my way into the kitchen. As I enter, the lively banter of my mom and aunts fills the air, mid-gossip in the midst of breakfast preparations. I'm embraced by the scent of bacon and brewing of coffee. The women pause their gossip for a moment, shifting their attention to me.
"Well, look who decided to get up bright and early!" My mom exclaims, giving me a quick embrace. "Here, you take over the bacon for me. I need to get started on the pancakes," she adds, directing me to her spot at the stove. My aunts greet me with a cheerful "good morning" before seamlessly resuming their conversation with my mother.
The kitchen was bustling with activity, filled with the savory aroma of the many dishes being cooked. The Auntie's hands are kept busy as they catch up on the latest gossip and I snicker to myself as I focus on my task. The house starts to wake up as I hear my little cousins stomping down the stairs, their childish giggles over the chatter of the rest of the family.
I'm lost in my thoughts when my attention is abruptly diverted by an unexpected question from Aunt Pat, who's currently cooking the eggs.
"So, Naomi, you got a man yet?" The other ladies in the kitchen fix their gaze on me, awaiting my response. I stammer for a moment but then decide to keep it light.
βWell, no. Iβm not really focused on that right now,β I reply with a shrug, hoping theyβll drop The subject. They donβt, of course.
βCome on now. You not getting any younger.β Adds my aunt Tina. My mom gives them a disapproving look as she closes the fridge.
βYβall, leave my baby alone. It is too early for this.β Mom defends, but they roll their eyes.
βWeβre just chatting, Angie. Besides, donβt you want some grandbabies?β Tina asks, Aunt Pat nodding in agreement.
"Naomi can wait for the right man as long as she needs. Better that than popping out babies without a ring," my mom subtly throws shade, her lips pursed. Aunt Pat raises an eyebrow.
βYou tryna say sumn, Ang? Cus' whoever I think you're talking about has definitely gotten married since.β She says matter of factly. My mom ignores her.
"And Tina, don't start on Mimi, what about Ashanti? She still don't got a man either. And she 'bout the same age as Naomi." My mom adds.
"My Ashanti is a famous and successful model. She is busy building her life right now and taking care of her business. Besides, she's seeing someone," Aunt Tina states, turning her nose up. Sensing that my mom is about to say something else, I decide to intervene.
"Let's all calm down. I don't have a man, so what? It's not the end of the world. And, for the record, I have a successful career as well," I declare, raising my hands in defense. Aunt Tina's comment lingers in the air like a passing storm, briefly unsettling the familial calm.
"Just saying, you're almost thirty. Time to settle down. And I'd hardly call those cute little drawings you do a successful career," she persists, earning a disapproving look from my mother. I clench my jaw, determined not to let the remark sting.
"But we'll drop it," Aunt Tina announces, attempting to change the subject. The kitchen regains its lively atmosphere as they return to their culinary duties. My mother shoots me an apologetic glance, understanding the delicate nature of the topic, but I reassure her with a soft smile. I've grown accustomed to my family's concerns about my love life, even if their ideas of success differ from mine.
"Where is Teresa, anyways? And James? I saw the kids last night, but I haven't seen them." I ask, looking at my Aunt Pat.
"Oh, they're upstairs sleep. They really got a handful with them kids." She explains, shaking her head. I laugh a bit.
"Well, it seems like I'm not the only one who needed this vacation. Hopefully we will all get to relax." I let out a sigh.
"Well, don't you worry, none. Ashanti will be here any moment! I know y'all always have a good time together." Aunt Tina says. I look at her out of the side of my eyes and give a fake smile.
"Oh, I'm sure we'll have lots of fun." I respond, trying to hide the sarcasm in my voice. As they chop, stir, and laugh, I find myself wondering what's to come of this trip. My thoughts go back to what my aunts said about my love life.
Even though I'm almost thirty, I've never been one to go searching for a man, much less settle for less than I deserve. My art, my "cute little drawings," as Aunt Tina put it, is not just a hobbyβit's my passion. And while it may not fit the conventional definition of success in their eyes, it brings me fulfillment and joy. And I want that when it comes to love as well.
As I plate the last pieces of bacon and turn away from the stove, my phone rings. Itβs my brother Daniel.
βHey Danny.β I greet as I walk out the kitchen.
βNaomi! You already at mamas?β He asks me.
"Yeah, flew in last night. We're about to have breakfast," I reply.
"Bet, well, I'm on my way there, about nine hours out. Been on the road for a while. Just calling to let you know I'm bringing a guest." My interest piques, and I raise my eyebrows.
βOh? Is it a girl?β I tease. I can almost feel him rolling his eyes at me.
βNo, itβs not. Itβs one of my colleagues who needs a place to be for Christmas, so I offered to let him come.β Daniel explains.
βOh, okay. Just a heads up, the aunties are already in my business so make sure you got your shit together.β I share a laugh with him and, over the sounds of the road in the background, I can barely make out a second laugh. I choose to ignore it.
βWho knows, maybe my guest can help you get your shit together if you, uh, catch my drift.β He teases. I roll my eyes in return and give a sarcastic laugh.
βThis is not about to be you tryna hook me up with one of your friends again. We both know how that ended up last time.β
βI know, I know. Donβt worry, itβll be none of that, I promise. But donβt tell anyone Iβm bringing someone. I want it to be a surprise.β He tells me.
"Sure, secret's safe with me," I respond, curious as to who he could be bringing.
"Alright, I'll catch you when I get home. Hopefully, everyone will still be up." He chuckles and I laugh along as well.
"Yeah, we'll see. Drive safe. See you when you get here." I say, before ending the call. As I hang up with Daniel, I can't help but wonder about the mysterious guest he's bringing. Returning to the kitchen, I start setting up the table as the delightful aroma of breakfast fills the air. Yet, my thoughts persistently drift back to the impending surprise.
A rhythmic knock echoes through the house coming from the front door, which promptly swings open.
"I'm hereeeee!" All of us in the kitchen pause to glance toward the entrance as my cousin, Ashanti, strides in. Draped in a fur coat and chic heeled boots, she's come with numerous bags.
Smiles light up the room, and everyone rushes to welcome her with hearty hugs. I hug her as well, but it's a bit stiff. Shanti and I grew up together and we used to be very close. But somewhere along the line, she started competing with me and it put a rift between us.
Amidst the flurry of greetings, I catch a glimpse of Ashanti's perfectly styled hair and the air of confidence she exudes. Despite the awkwardness between us, I manage a genuine smile, hoping that the holiday spirit will bridge the gap that has quietly settled over the years.
As the family gathers around, Ashanti unveils a cascade of presents from her bags. "Gifts for everyone!" she announces, and the room erupts with excitement. The children eagerly approach, but she urges them to wait their turn. The tension between us momentarily fades as the joy of the holiday season takes center stage. The gifts she gives are lavish and luxurious. As everyone gets their gifts, she saves the last one for me.
"And last, but certainly not least, this is for you, Naomi." Ashanti hands me a neatly wrapped gift. I smile and open it, eager to see what is inside. While I had no specific expectations, what I got is far from what I had expected. As I tear away the paper, I find myself holding what appears to be a Dollar Tree sketchbook, lacking the quality I might have hoped for.
"Oh, a sketchbook..." I attempt to conceal my disappointment, realizing she intentionally chose a less-than-impressive gift.
"No need for thanks! I just knew you'd love it. You know, with your little artsy thing you got going on. I figured it would be a perfect gift," she says, offering a feigned smile and a hug. Despite having plenty of similar sketchbooks, I decide not to grant her any satisfaction, accepting the gift graciously.
The room is still buzzing with the cheer of the holiday festivities, and as I hold the seemingly ordinary sketchbook, I take a deep breath, reminding myself that the value lies in the gesture rather than the material itself.
I manage a polite smile, masking any traces of disappointment, and reply, "Thank you, Ashanti. It's thoughtful." She beams, seemingly content with her choice of gift, and the tension between us lingers beneath the surface.
The following hours whirl by in a flurry of activity. I spend most of the day hanging out with my younger cousins, keeping them occupied while everyone else relaxes. It's a great feeling to be home and around my family once again, no matter how old I get.
There are a couple gifts beneath the tree and the fireplace blazes brightly. Grandmother, nestled in her recliner by the fireplace, skillfully crochets a blanket and my uncles huddle around the TV to watch a football game. Mom has just set out hot chocolate for the kids, while the aunties are talking with each other in the study. Ashanti is upstairs, probably on her phone or something. Meanwhile, I find myself on the couch, sketch pad in hand, allowing my creativity to flow.
The sun has dipped below the horizon and a flurry of snow blankets the world outside. I glance toward the window, crossing my fingers that the roads won't freeze over and that Daniel and his mystery guest will arrive soon. The children steal the TV, watching some cartoons while a few of my uncles head onto the porch for a smoke. This calm is one I've longed for over the yearsβit gives me a sense of nostalgia, sending me back to the carefree days of my childhood.
My cousin, Teresa, who was asleep all day, comes downstairs and sits beside me. I smile as I look up from my sketches at her.
"Hey, cuz!" She says, giving me a hug.
"Hey, you slept good?" I ask, giggling a bit.
"Girl, yes, it was MUCH needed. You really don't understand how much you miss naps until you have children." She sighs heavily and I nod sympathetically.
"Yeah, I figured when I saw James come down here and not you, you were still getting your rest." I say teasingly. Teresa rolls her eyes.
"Hey, those beds are comfortable." She retorts, defending herself.
"Well, at least now you get a break, right? You got some help." Teresa sits back and nods.
"I'm so glad to just be here. It's been a while since we were able to take a trip like this."
"Something tells me that this trip is gonna be one to remember." I say, mostly to myself.
"Well, I guess we'll just have to wait and see." Teresa says, before standing up and heading to the kitchen.
As time goes by, I hear the doorbell ring again. I remain seated, engrossed in my drawing. Mom answers and her sudden loud exclamation echoes through the house as she lets the visitors in. Intrigued, I look up from my sketches, wondering who it could be. I get up and walk over to the door, first seeing my big brother standing there. He's smiling widely as he sees the shocked look on Mom's face. However, as I approach, I see who she's really screaming about.
There, standing beside Daniel on the doorstep is none other than famous actor Michael B. Jordan. My jaw drops in astonishment as I can't believe my eyes.
"Danny, what is this? You didn't tell me you were bringing a guest!" She exclaims, the unspoken emphasis being, 'You didn't tell me that you were bringing Michael B. Jordan!'
"Just thought I'd surprise you, Ma. And Michael, here, didn't have anywhere to stay for Christmas. So I invited him to stay with us for the week. Is that alright?" He asks, sporting a sheepish grin. My mother stammers for a moment, caught off guard by this surprise. She glances at Michael, who presents her a giftwrapped bottle of expensive-looking wine, flashing that gorgeous smile of his. Still in shock, she stammers as he hands her the gift.
"Merry Christmas, Mrs. Samuels. I hope I'm not intruding too much." He gives her a hug, giving her a squeeze. My mother, still processing the surprise, hugs him back, her eyes gleaming with disbelief.
"Oh, you're not intruding at all! Well, welcome to our home, Michael!" She starts as he lets go of her and stands in the doorway. "We're honored to have you join us for Christmas."
"The honor is all mine." He responds. By now, news of Michael's arrival has spread through the house. Danny brings him in, brushing snow off of himself, and I catch his eye. He winks at me knowingly as our family rushes to greet Michael and take pictures. I smile and shake my head at Daniel. It seems his "colleague" was quite the understatement. My little cousins jump excitedly at meeting the man who played Killmonger and my aunties and uncles are chatting to him loudly, talking over one another.
I watch all the commotion with a smile, when I lock eyes with Michael. He looks as if he is gonna approach me, but he's stopped by Ashanti.
"Hi, my name is Ashanti! You look like you need a drink." She says, before grabbing his arm and leading him away from the lively group. I suppress a sigh of awkward disappointment as she shoots me a mischievous glance over her shoulder. Just then, Daniel drapes an arm around my shoulder, steering me toward the study for a chat.
"Daniel!" I exclaim in a hushed tone as a cheeky grin plays on his face. He simply shrugs, not making a response. "Daniel!" I repeat, this time playfully socking him in the arm with an excited smile on my face.
"Surprise?" He offers, having anticipated my reaction.
"How the hell did you manage to get Michael Bakari Jordan to come to the Samuels household?!" I try to contain my excitement, but my words come out with an unintentional squeal. He laughs, feigning pain as he clutches his arm.
"It's like I said. He didn't have anywhere to be for Christmas. I didn't tell y'all, but this last project I was working on was with Michael and it was set to go into the Christmas holiday. Luckily, we ended up finishing early. Michael had tried to plan ahead and sent is parents and siblings on a Christmas cruise so they'd still have a good time. Well, during the project, Michael and I talked frequently and he mentioned not having anywhere to go, so I invited him to come here." He explains. I'm still in disbelief.
"This is insane. I never expected you to actually bring him. And he's staying until Christmas?"
"Yep, so he gets the full Samuels family experience for the holidays. But, you should go out and meet him yourself, Mimi. Knowing Ashanti, she's probably talking his ear off by now." He pats my shoulder, and I take a deep breath before stepping out of the study.
My heart is racing in my chest as I walk towards the kitchen. I've been a fan of his for the longest and now he's in my house. I'm trying to think of what I'd say to him. I find myself, instead of going to meet Michael, pacing around the dining room away from everyone else. I'm not usually this nervous or shy. But something about this man just makes me go crazy.
"Come on, Naomi," I say to myself, rubbing my palms on my jeans. I pace a bit more before I shake my head at my ridiculousness. With another deep breath, I head out of the dining room and towards the kitchen once more. There Michael and Ashanti are sitting at the bar, engaged in a conversation. It looks as if Ashanti is just talking about herself and her many accomplishments while showing him her photos. As I get closer, Michael glances over and notices me, giving me that famous smile again.
"Hey, Michael..." I start, and he watches me, waiting to hear what I'm gonna say. I decide to just go for it. "Mind if I steal you away for a bit?" I bite my lip, avoiding Ashanti's eyes as she glares at me. The corners of Michael's mouth turn up as the sound of my voice reaches him.
"Well, actually, Nao-"
"Yeah, I don't mind." He interrupts Ashanti as he stands, grabbing his glass . "Thanks for the drink, Ashanti." He says, but she rolls her eyes as she watches us leave. We make our way to the upstairs common area and sit on the couch. Michael sits a bit close to me, draping his arm along the back of the couch as he gets comfortable.
"You know, I was just looking for an excuse to take a break from her," He says, leaning into me. "Thanks for rescuing me." I laugh a bit at his words.
"Well, I'm happy to help. I'm always willing to answer the call of a damsel in distress." I joke, trying to break the ice. He chuckles a bit.
"It looked that bad, huh?" He replies and I nod, overexaggerating it a bit. "Well, then I guess that makes you my knight in shining armor." He grins charmingly and I have to stop myself from melting.
"Ah, where are my manners. I'm Naomi, Daniel's sister. I would've introduced myself sooner, but you seemed a bit busy." I laugh nervously, struggling to sit still under his gaze.
"So you're this troublesome Mimi I've heard so much about?" Michael questions and I freeze, blushing in embarrassment. There's no way Daniel really told him about my nickname. I regain my composure and clear my throat.
"First of all, I don't know where this troublesome idea of me came from, cuz it's definitely not true." I retort, playfully turning my nose up.
Michael grins, his eyes filled with amusement. "Hmm, I don't know, Daniel talks about you quite a bit and based on his stories, you seem pretty troublesome to me." He leans back, a playful glint in his eyes as he observes my reaction. "But don't worry, I'm all for a bit of trouble."
I chuckle, feeling a bit more at ease with his easygoing demeanor. "Well, if that's the case, I hope you're ready for the full Samuels family experience. We're a handful, but it's all in good fun."
"So, Naomi," Michael begins, his eyes gleaming with curiosity, "Aside from being a troublemaker, Daniel tells me you're an artist."
I playfully roll my eyes at the "troublemaker" label. "Oh, yes, it's my favorite thing to do. I love to draw, paint, you name it."
"What would you say inspires you?" He asks, his expression showing genuine curiosity.
"I just feel like art is my way of keeping some semblance of sanity in this chaotic world, you know what I mean?" I explain.
"Yes, I know exactly what you mean." He says, nodding his head. "It must be a nice escape from the chaos of the world to be able to express yourself through art. I love listening to music; it helps me find clarity when my thoughts get too messy."
"I completely get that. And it's just a plus that I get to do it for a living." I say with a content smile.
"So being an artist is your full-time job?" he questions, his tone laced with intrigue.
"Yeah, at first it was a hobby, but it got so successful that I was able to quit my other job and do it full-time."
"An artist, huh? Anything I might've seen?" he asks, genuinely interested. I shrug casually.
"Possibly. I do commissions for all types of people, I've got a few pieces in the Brooklyn Museum, I also run an art page on Instagram, so maybe you've seen some of my art." I pull out my phone and show him my page. He takes the phone from my hands, scrolling and raising his eyebrows in surprise.
"These are amazing," he says quietly, clearly impressed. "Do you draw from real life often? It's so realistic andβ¦detailed" He continues, running his fingers along my phone screen lightly.
"I'm experimenting with some other media forms, but yeah, all of these I painted from real life. Some of them even went for really high prices. My most recent piece went for $3,000. But I've been working on that one for months. It was a commission for the governor of New York."
"Wow! It's amazing. You got some serious talent girl!" He praises, giving me a high five. I laugh, blushing a bit as he compliments me. He hands me my phone back and pulls his out, going to my account on his Instagram and following it. It takes everything within me not to scream.
"Thank you. Art is just a huge passion for me. I love to make other people happy with it as well." I admit. Michael notices me blushing when it sinks in he just followed my account.
"Well, you've got a new fan." He says with a sly grin, leaning against my shoulder. "I might have to use your services sometime." He says, his gaze lingering on mine.
"Yeah, I mean, I'm down to make anything you'd like." I blurt out, before realizing what I'd just said. "I... didn't mean it like that." I let out a sheepish laugh and clasp my hands together. Michael laughs as well, but he really is just enjoying himself.
"How about you make a portrait of me?" He suggests, a hint of playfulness in his tone.
"When? Right now?"
"I'll leave it up to you. We got the next couple days." He reminds me with a wink.
"Okay, but you'll have to be on your A-game this whole week. Are you up for the challenge?" I question, matching his tone.
Michael leans in, his voice low and teasing. "I'm always up for a challenge, especially if it involves spending more time with someone as captivating as you."
I feel a flush of warmth, and I playfully roll my eyes. "Flattery will get you everywhere, Mr. Jordan."
He grins, unfazed. "Is that a promise, Ms. Samuels?"
"Absolutely," I reply, laughing a bit and enjoying our banter. Even though we've just met, it feels like we've been friends for a while. Michael takes note of the easy chemistry that we have, and that chemistry sets the tone for a vacation filled with shared moments and the promise of a memorable Christmas.
"Any other hidden talents I should know about, Naomi?" He questions me. Somewhere in our conversation, we've gravitated so close on the couch that there's no space between us. Yet, the proximity feels comfortable now, and any initial nervousness has dissipated.
"Well, you'll have to find that out, won't you?" I respond with a sly smirk.
"Oh, she wants to be mysterious now?" Michael chuckles, his dimples showing as he smiles at me.
"She does indeed. As you said, we've got these next few days. You'll just have to see for yourself," I reply, glancing at the clock to realize how late it has gotten. Most of the children have already fallen asleep, and the aunts and uncles have retired to their rooms. It appears that the family is settling down for the night. Michael and I exchange glances, acknowledging the quieting atmosphere around us.
"I guess it's time for us to call it a night," Michael suggests, a yawn coming from him. I nod in agreement, feeling a sense of contentment in the air.
"Yeah, it's getting late. Goodnight, Michael." I say, rising from the couch. Michael follows my actions and stands up.
"Goodnight, Naomi." He pulls me into a brief hug, and I reciprocate, my arms instinctively wrapping around his waist. After a moment, we separate, and I turn to make my way to my room.
"Uh..." Michael utters softly. "Which way is the guest room?" He asks. I smile and chuckle.
"It's down the hall, second door on the left," I reply, pointing him in the direction.
"Ah, okay, goodnight again." He says, before walking towards his room.
"Goodnight," I say softly, heading into my bedroom and getting ready for bed. I catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror and stare for a moment. Out of nowhere, I break out into a victory dance and squeal silently. I still cannot believe that Michael B Jordan is at my house, or that he's going to be staying here for a week, or that he might even like me! I take a deep breath and compose myself once more, worried I might wake someone.
As I settle into bed, the tranquility of the night wraps around me like a warm blanket. Reflecting on the unexpected turns of this day, I realize exactly how crazy this whole day has been. I can only hope that this isn't a dream. With a contented sigh, I drift off to sleep, eagerly anticipating the things to come these next few days.

π°πΆπ«π¬ππ°π¦π° β Itβs time to decorate the tree, although itβs not going according to plan. You had the perfect idea of how a Christmas tree should look. However, your boyfriend, Hobie, had other ideas. You both begin to argue and it seems to be going no where. Words are said and feelings get hurt. Will you be able to fix this?
π/π« β Guys, I can confirm that Hobie is just a big kid on the inside. But while some might think heβs spewing nonsense, he might actually have a point. I hope you enjoy!
12 Days of Christmas Masterlist

βNo, Hobes! It doesnβt go there.β I swat Hobieβs hand away from the tree as he attempts to place one of his Star Wars ornaments in the center. It's Christmas Eve and Hobie and I are facing off in front of a pile of decorations. This familiar argument about how to decorate the tree is playing out for what feels like the millionth time. My preference leans towards a more structured and organized aesthetic, while Hobie leans towards a free and chaotic approach, arguing that an orderly tree is a submission to capitalism.
βRight, how 'bout this, then?β Hobie holds up some blue tinsel, and I immediately push his hands away from the tree once again.
"I'm not putting that on the tree, Hobie. It goes gold and then red! Blue shouldnβt be anywhere near this tree." I explain while wrapping the red tinsel around the tree. Hobie rolls his eyes.
βWhatβs the issue? Blueβs a good color.β He throws his hands up, looking at me incredulously. Ignoring him, I continue sorting through the decorations for matching ornaments.
βOh, so you're just gonna let the suits dictate your every move, huh? You gonna let the capitalist drones run your life?" Hobie accuses, snatching the tinsel from my hands and wrapping it the opposite way.
"Oh, don't start that, Hobie. I just want our tree to look nice and neat this year." I argue, reclaiming the tinsel and wrapping it correctly. Hobie persists, emphasizing his disdain for conforming to holiday traditions dictated by corporations.
βYeah, you're just a conformist sheep, ain't ya? No clue what's really goin' on, just followin' the herd. Wake up, man!β He says angrily, wrapping the tinsel even more so. He looks at me as if I am completely clueless.
"Conformist to what? Santa Claus's evil agenda?" I mock, yanking the tinsel out of his hands. Hobie snickers, but he doesnβt look impressed.
βThe corporations are manipulating the spirit of Christmas, so youβll buy presents! Canβt you see that, you wanker?β
"Who gives a damn? It's Christmas for Christ's sake!" I throw my hands up and it seems our conversation is getting out of hand. Hobie scrunches up his nose as the argument escalates.
βExactly! Itβs Christmas! The day when youβre supposed to be spending time with people you love, not maxing out your credit card on useless junk. Can't blame ya, it's that corporate mind game. Same goes for Valentine's Dayβjust another cash grab, man!β He starts to enter into his rant about how Valentineβs Day is pointless. Ignoring his conspiracy theories, I redirect our focus.
"Don't even start! Listen, we're not putting your stupid Star Wars ornaments on the tree and that's final. Now stop arguing and hand me those angel ornaments, will you?" I huff as I hold out my hand, determined to maintain order.
βThese Star Wars ornaments are rad! Come on, just a littleββ Hobie protests, attempting to convince me to allow at least one Star Wars ornament. "How 'bout just the Baby Yoda? Stick it in the back, it'll be lowkey." I sigh, contemplating the idea for a moment.
"Fine, you can put it right there." I relent, pointing to the spot on the tree. Hobie's face immediately lights up when I give in and allow him to put a baby Yoda ornament up, near the back. Despite his punk rock appearance, he actually has a soft side.
"Cheers, luv," Hobie smiles at me. He quickly unwraps the baby Yoda ornament and carefully placed it where I pointed, and then steps back to admire the result. I cringe at the way it clashes with my previous work.
βSo what do you think?β He asks, looking over at me. I donβt really respond, instead looking off to the side. Hobieβs smile begins to fade when he realizes that I am unimpressed by the result of his handiwork.
βWhatβs wrong with it?β His facial expression turns into one of confusion. βI think it turned out pretty nice,β He said, defending his choice of decoration.
"It doesn't match, Hobes. It looks out of place like I knew it would." I grumble, crossing my arms. Hobie looks at me, genuinely hurt, and his expression turns sad.
"Sorry, luv..." He apologizes, his voice soft and sincere. "I just thought it would be cool... But I guess I don't know anything about aesthetics." He puts his hands in his pockets and lowers his head. He seems genuinely upset that I didn't like his contribution. Hobie turns away from me, deflated as he walks out of the room. I feel a twinge of guilt as I turn to look back at the tree.
His shoulders are hunched up and he is obviously disappointed. As he leaves the room, he mutters, "Stupid Christmas tree..." under his breath. I can't help but feel a bit guilty as I continue to look at the tree.
I stare at it, watching the out-of-place ornament, and thinking, 'Is it really worth it?' I just made a whole argument out of something we were meant to be doing together. I'd put my need for perfection over my own boyfriend and now he's upset. And why? Because some baby Yoda ornament didn't match my idea of what a Christmas tree should look like.
It really clicks in my head. Hobie wasn't just being a nonconformist or trying to ruin the tree. He was trying to have fun with his girlfriend and decorate the tree in a way that shows both of our creativity. I sigh as I turn away from the tree and run to the kitchen to where Hobie is.
"Hobie? Babe?" I find him sitting at the kitchen table with his back towards me. He seems to be focused on something, probably sulking. I call his name again and he slowly turns to look at me.
"Yeah, luv?" He asks, trying to sound cool and nonchalant, but his hurt expression betrays him. I sit across from him and look into his eyes. He avoids my gaze. I place my hand gently on his and bite my lip as I try to find words.
"Hobie, I'm sorry." I start. Hobie feels a wave of relief wash over him when I apologize. He looks up at me and his expression softens. He's clearly still hurt, but he seems much more relaxed knowing that I still care about his feelings.
"It's alright, luv," Hobie replies, giving my hand a little squeeze as he looks into my eyes. "I might've gone a bit overboard, I get it. The Christmas vibes hit me hard, you know? Just wanted to make it extra special 'cause I know it's a big deal for you. And-" He pauses as I press my finger to his lips.
"No, Hobie, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have snapped at you like that, or tried to shut down your ideas. This isn't my home and that isn't my tree. It's our home and our tree. And it should reflect both of our creativity, not just what I think it should." Hobie's face brightens as I say that. He is a bit taken aback by my admission, but also really appreciates it. His expression turns into a smile as he stands up, pulling me with him.
"That's... really sweet, luv." He says in a soft voice and pulls me into a warm hug. "And you're right, this is our home, and it should reflect both of our tastes." He pauses and then speaks again in a more playful tone. "Even if you have bad taste."
I push away from the hug, feigning a look of offense as I playfully swat his shoulder. "I do not have bad taste!" Hobie pulls me back in and leans in to kiss my lips.
"Yes, you do. But at least you're pretty to look at." He says in a joking manner, then gives me another kiss. His lips press against mine with a tender and passionate intensity. His tongue brushes along my lips momentarily before he pulls his head back, keeping his lips close to mine.
"So, do you wanna take a break from decorating the tree and, you know...?" He trails off suggestively with a smirk and I laugh, rolling my eyes.
"Babe! We need to finish the tree!" I manage to say between giggles as I try to escape his grip. He doesn't let me pull away, instead he picks me up, wrapping my legs around his waist.
"Tree's not going anywhere, luv. We can decorate it tomorrow." Hobie mumbles against my skin, kissing my neck and starts walking towards our bedroom.
"But tomorrow's Christmas!" I shout before the door slams shut.

12 Days of Christmas Masterlist
Part 1 Here
Part 3 Here

The morning sun spills its golden hues into my room. I groan as the light reaches my eyes, causing me to squint. I sit up in my bed, grateful that my scarf stayed on the entire night. Glancing at my calendar, I note that it's only six days until Christmas. I try not to focus on the fact that I'll be spending those six days with Michael B Jordan, the idea is still unbelievable to me. It's a bit chilly, so I make sure I have a warm pair of socks on before heading downstairs.
As I step into the kitchen, the enticing aroma of breakfast greets me. The lively chatter of family members already fills the air as they prepare for the day. I notice my grandmother sitting at the table, sipping her coffee. She's always been an early riser.
"Good morning, Mimi," she greets me with a warm smile. "Did you sleep well?"
"Morning, Grandmother. I slept like a baby. It's a bit cold in here, though." I reply, giving a small shiver and rubbing my hands together as I return her smile. "Can we turn the heat up?" Grandmother gives me a knowing grin.
"Oh no, darling. We not running up my electric bill. It is fine where it's at." She shakes her head and I sigh softly, rubbing my arms to heat them up. I turn to walk away, but she starts to speak again.
"Why don't you go find that young man and ask him to light the fireplace for you? I know he's somewhere around here." She suggests, her grin growing. "You know, since you're so cold," she chuckles, sipping from her mug again. I smile and roll my eyes as I get up and head to go look for him.
I make my way through the corridors of my childhood home, the wooden floor creaking slightly as I walk along the boards. It's still early, but most of the house is already awake and alive with the energy of this holiday season. After a brief detour through the kitchen, where my aunts mingle as usual, I head towards the den. There, sitting on the couch, I find Michael, deep in conversation with my younger twin cousins, Matthew and Mason.
"Hey, guys. What y'all talkin' 'bout?" I ask as I shuffle over to stand in front of them. The twins look up with wide eyes, clearly still starstruck by the presence of the famous actor. Michael flashes them a friendly smile, instantly putting the young boys at ease.
"We were just telling Michael about our favorite superhero movies!" Mason exclaims, his excitement palpable as he holds onto his Incredible Hulk toy.
"Who's your favorite superhero, Michael?" Matthew chimes in, listening eagerly. Michael leans back onto the couch, a thoughtful expression on his face.
"Is it Killmonger?" Mason questions.
"Killmonger in some ways, could be seen as a hero with a lot of depth and character. But he's technically a villain." He explains. "I'd have to say that Spider-Man is my favorite superhero, but I did enjoy playing Killmonger." Matthew and Mason giggle at Michael's reply and I smirk, finding it endearing.
"But the real question is, which Spider-Man?" I ask in a teasing tone. Michael raises his eyebrows at me.
His expression immediately lights up as he recognizes my attempt at taunting him. He gives me a small smile and laughs.
"Oh come on now, Mimi, you know that doesn't even have to be a question. It's obviously Tom Holland."
"No!" both boys reply in unison, laughing and shaking their heads.
"It's obviously gotta be Toby! He's the original!" Mason shouts and Matthew nods enthusiastically.
"Well, personally, I think Andrew Garfield was the best," I add. The boys go silent and stare at me with disappointed looks.
"No offense, Mimi, but you've let us down," Matthew says, shaking his head slowly. I look at them shocked as they look back at me awkwardly.
"What? Why can't I have my own opinion on this?" I question with a laugh.
"You're just not cool like Michael is." Mason shrugs his shoulders and Michael raises his eyebrows in surprise.
"Wowwww," I cross my arms in fake offense. "You know what? You boys haven't brushed your teeth this morning, have you?" I purse my lips at them and they drop their shoulders.
"No..." They both say as they slowly get up from the couch, groaning in protest.
"Uh uh, I don't wanna hear it. You got so much to say but you ain't even got clean teeth. Shameful." I taunt, causing Michael to laugh. "Make sure that Jessie girl brushes as well!" I call after them. Their mopey mood is replaced by a competitive one as they begin to challenge each other to who can get to their sister the fastest. Michael and I watch in amusement as they leave.
"Did you brush your teeth, Naomi?" He asks, raising an eyebrow. I narrow my eyes at him.
"Let's not go there, right now," I give him a sarcastic smile and he laughs a bit. "I need your help with something," I say, shuffling my feet.
"Sure, what do you need?" He responds, standing up from his seat.
"Well, it's absolutely freezing downstairs. Do you mind lighting the fire for me?" I ask, grinning sheepishly. Michael snickers at the request.
"Fireplace duty, huh? I think I can handle that." He follows me down to the living room and kneels next to the fireplace.
"Thank you," I say as I sit down on the floor in front of the fireplace and lean my back against the couch, watching as he adds the logs and lights a match. As soon as the fire starts to crackle, Michael steps back and glances at me. I realize that, even though it's early in the morning, he's dressed and ready for the day. The only thing he doesn't have on is shoes, but I still feel a bit embarrassed at my appearance. I haven't done anything to my hair and I am in my pjs still.
"You look pretty cozy over there, Naomi." He teases. I side-eye him slightly, turning to look at him as I hold my hands out to feel the heat and wiggle my toes while I let the fire warm my feet.
"I'm just trying not to freeze to death. I hate the cold." I retort, rubbing my hands together. Michael chuckles and sits down next to me, offering me his warmth. He leans his arm on the couch, letting it fall slightly so that his hand hangs over to the side of the couch where I'm sitting.
"Didn't you grow up here in the cold?" He asks, raising an eyebrow as he looks down at me. I smile slightly, letting out a soft sigh.
"I didn't like it then and I don't like it now. It makes me glad I moved to New York. It's at least a little warmer there." I shrug, pulling my knees to my chest so I can be warmer.
"I understand it. I grew up in New Jersey, so I've had my experiences with the cold." He admits. Michael looks over at me, seeing me shiver. "You know, you don't gotta put on this act of being freezing cold." He says and he puts his arm around my shoulder, pulling me to his side. "If you wanted to get close to me, you could've just said so."
I try to contain my shock, blushing at his boldness. My heart is racing and I'm hoping that he doesn't notice.
"It's not like that at all," I mutter, trying to keep my voice steady. He chuckles at my reaction.
"Oh yeah? Then what's it like?" He questions, noticing that I'm completely at a loss for words. I clear my throat and shrug.
"I just feel comfortable with you." I finally say, looking at him from the corner of my eye. I laugh, leaning into his shoulder.
"Better?" He questions as he rubs my arm to warm me.
"Much better. Thanks for the invitation." We both let out a light laugh, leaning back against the couch.
"I've got a question," Michael says after a moment.
"What's up?" I look up at him, realizing just how close to me he is.
"Why do they call you Mimi?" As he asks this, I stifle my laughter.
"Oh, God. That nickname haunts me everywhere I go!" I cover my face with my hands and Michael laughs at my reaction.
"What's wrong with it? I think it's cute." He winks at me playfully.
"It's little girl cute. Other names have cool nicknames like you have Mike and Daniel has Dan. But I just have this lil cutesy nickname, Mimi. Makes me sound like a kid." I rant adorably. Michael continues laughing until he composes himself.
"If it bothers you then why don't you choose a new nickname?" He suggests and I raise my eyebrow at him in confusion.
"Like what?" I question, doubting there's anything better for me. He thinks for a moment and then smiles when he's got it.
"Nao." He says waving his hand as if the name is supposed to appear out of thin air. I look deadpan at him and he starts laughing once more, a genuine smile on his face.
"Nao?" I raise my eyebrow even higher.
"You know, like Ne-yo, but cooler. Nao..." He does the thing with his hand again and I shake my head, giggling.
He continues to laugh as I mutter, "You're so corny." I roll my eyes at him and he gives me a playful shove.
"Well, you love it." He teases and I cross my arms. "So are you gonna consider the nickname or not?" He questions and I pause. My eyes shift to the side and a slow smile spreads across my face.
"I guess anything is better than Mimi," I concede with a sigh.
"Nao it is then." As Michael and I laugh with each other, we hear a loud bell from the kitchen. Michael looks at me with confusion.
"It's the breakfast bell. Means the food's ready. I should probably go get dressed." I mention. Michael removes his arm from around me and stands up offering his hand to help me up as well. I take it graciously. He pulls me to my feet, smiling warmly at me. Our hands linger for an extra second, our eyes locked onto each other.
"Alright, let me go see if I can help set the table." He says after a moment, letting go of my hand. He heads towards the kitchen, but not before calling back, "Don't forget to brush your teeth!" I smile to myself as I go back up the stairs.
As I walk through the common area to get to my room, I'm stopped by a voice behind me.
"You don't really think he'll go for you, do you?" I look over and see Ashanti in the doorway of the bathroom. I raise an eyebrow in confusion.
"What are you talking about?" I ask, already knowing I'm about to deal with some bullshit.
"Michael is a man who is way out of your league, don't you think?" She questions, crossing her arms.
"Ashanti, I'd love to get into whatever this is, but I need to get dressed," I say, turning away.
"I'm saying he should be with someone more on his level. Someone like me." She has a smug look on her face and I turn back towards her.
"Don't you already have a boyfriend?" I narrow my eyes at her.
"He's more of... a friend with benefits." She lies and I roll my eyes.
"You literally share an apartment with him." I retort.
"Don't try to deflect, Naomi. You need to back off of Michael, so I can show who he really should be with. A refined and classy woman with my social standing is the perfect match for a perfect man like him." I side-eye her as she spews these delusions.
"Whatever, Shanti. Have him, I don't care." I walk away before she can respond and shut my door. I should have known she'd come at me like that. It's always like this with her. She's jealous of me and wants Michael for herself. I won't try and stop her from going after him, but if he wants me, there's not much I can do about that. That being said, there's no telling if he likes either one of us. For one, we just met him yesterday, and two, we don't even know where his head is at right now.
I shake that conversation off and get ready for the day. I make it back to my bedroom, deciding to take a quick shower and change into something more decent to eat breakfast in. I'm feeling pretty good about myself until I remember the moment this morning with Michael and I suddenly get butterflies in my stomach. I take a few deep breaths and take my time to apply lotion and perfume.
After I feel I'm presentable, I slip on some jeans and a brown sweater to stay warm. I quickly brush my hair, checking myself in the mirror one last time before heading down to eat.
As I get down the stairs, everyone is already eating. I notice Ashanti sitting very close to Michael as she talks his ear off while he eats. Michael smiles politely, but it's obvious he's not into it. I head into the kitchen and grab some breakfast before sitting at the kitchen table, next to my mother.
"Good morning, Mimi." She greets me, smiling warmly at me.
"Morning, Mom. What are the plans for today? We doing anything?" I ask as I take a bite of food. My mother glances around the table, her eyes lingering for a bit on Michael and Ashanti.
"Well, I was thinking." She starts, "Why don't you older children take a trip to the nearby Christmas market? I'm sure there will be some great activities there."
"Sounds good," I reply. I steal a quick glance at Michael, who seems to be searching for an escape from Ashanti's chatter. Our eyes meet for a moment, and he offers a small smile. "Are we bringing the kids, too?" I ask, looking back at my mother. She shakes her head.
"Your uncles are taking the boys and Jessie to go sledding." She tells me and I smile at that.
"They'll love that," I say as I finish my food, putting my utensils on the plate. "Give me a call if you need me."
"Don't worry, baby, you just go have fun. Oh and..." She leans in to whisper to me. "Make sure to put the works on Michael. I need a son-in-law." She teases. I cover my face in embarrassment and sigh.
"I'll see you later, Mom." I laugh as I walk away, putting my dishes in the sink. After everyone is finished, I grab my brother, Teresa, James, Michael, and Ashanti and tell them what we're about to do.
"Hey guys, Mom suggested that we go to the Christmas market for the day. It's just a short walk down the street, y'all down?" I ask them.
"Oh my God! We used to love going to the Christmas market when we were younger, remember?" Teresa asks, beaming at the memories. I nod, smiling in response. James gazes admirably at Teresa as she brightens up. He always likes to see her happy.
"That sounds like a good plan. I've been dying for that food all year!" Daniel says excitedly. Michael laughs and shrugs his shoulders.
"I'm down to go. I've been wanting to see more of this place." He replies, looking a bit excited as well.
"Well, you already know if T is going, J will be there also," James smirks, leaning against the wall. Ashanti gives him a look of disappointment.
"Please, never refer to yourselves as 'T and J'. It sounds stupid." She tells them. James and Teresa both laugh and Ashanti rolls her eyes. "Oh, we're going to have so much fun!" She squeals, wrapping her arm around Michael's and leaning into him. He winces as she lets out a loud gasp, "Let me go get changed! There might be paparazzi there!" She giggles excitedly as she leaves the room to get ready. Michael gives Dan a surprised look.
"Is she always like that?" He asks, chuckling nervously. We all slowly nod our heads.
"I'm afraid so..." I reply.
"And, unfortunately, she's a professional at missing hints." Dan jokes and we all share a laugh. Grandmother makes her way over to us slowly, carrying six sheets of paper and six mini Polaroid cameras. Teresa's eyes light up once more.
"Are those what I think they are?" She inquires and Grandmother gives her a warm smile. Teresa reads her list carefully, eyes growing wide as she realizes what Grandmother has set up for us.
"Yes, it is, baby." We each are given a piece of paper and a camera. Upon closer inspection of the paper, we realize that it's a checklist.
"What is it?" Michael asks, a bit confused. I grin excitedly as I realize as well.
"It's a Christmas hunt!" I blurt out. Daniel looks excited as well and turns to Michael to explain.
"So, when we were younger, every year we'd visit the Christmas market and we'd do a holiday-themed scavenger hunt." He starts.
"Grandmother always made the list and we had to take pictures with each item on this list. We'd spend all day checking things off of it." Teresa chimes in.
"And, if we finish everything off of the list, we got to have Grandmother's famous Snickerdoodle Cookies! And a bunch of cute photos to put on the mantle." I add with enthusiasm. Michael looks at us all with amusement and nods his head.
"Okay, I'm in!" He tucks his list into his jacket and Teresa and I look at each other eagerly. Eventually, Ashanti returns from her room, dressed in a pink sweater and matching pink leggings.
"What? A scavenger hunt? You should've told me! I would have dressed accordingly." She whines. We all laugh and roll our eyes and head out the door, James and Daniel each pulling a wagon behind us.
The Christmas market bustles with activity as we pass the booths, and festive music all around. The colors and lights take me back to when I was just a little girl. The air carries a sweet scent of roasted chestnuts and the lively hum of joyous conversations.
"Wow, it seems like forever since I've been here," I say, my eyes lighting up as I look around.
"It hasn't changed a bit." Dan smiles, enjoying the nostalgia he gets from the place. I'm walking between Michael and Daniel and Ashanti clings to Michael's other side. Instead of letting her get the satisfaction of walking on Michael's arm, he links his arm with mine as well and I do the same with Dan so that we are all walking together. This seems to annoy her a bit, but we continue on. Teresa and James are walking hand in hand ahead of us and stop at the entrance of the market so we can make a game plan.
"Okay," I start, pulling out my list. "So it looks like we've got enough of things on here to keep us out here for a while." Everyone gathers around with their lists out.
"I've got an idea. How about we split up into teams? Three vs three?" James suggests.
"I like that. So who's on who's team?" Daniel questions. Teresa puts her arm on James' shoulder, smiling.
"It doesn't matter to me. Just as long as I have my boo with me. Otherwise, I'm lost." She says, causing me to giggle at her cuteness.
"Aww." He grins back at her. "I'll make sure to take good care of you then."
"You better. Or I'll come after you." She replies, punching his arm playfully. He laughs and puts his arm around her shoulder. Ashanti rolls her eyes once more at them.
"You two can do what you want, but I'm gonna stick with Michael." She says in a condescending tone. Michael raises an eyebrow at her, but he doesn't bother to argue. I shrug, already knowing she'd choose to team with him.
"Dan? Which team are you going to?" I ask and he gives me a mischievous smirk that seems to only have been seen by me.
"You know, I gotta team with my boy James and Cousin Tt." He shrugs his shoulders. "Sorry, I'm in it to win it." Dan and James dap each other up and I shake my head while laughing.
"Sigh, I guess I'm stuck with Ashanti and Michael," I say in mock annoyance, putting my hand on my forehead dramatically.
"Oh poor Naomi. Forced to walk around with the two hottest people here." Ashanti pretends to wipe a tear.
"Shut up." I roll my eyes.
"I'm just saying, we just look so good together." She wraps her arm around Michael's again and he looks off to the side. I feel the annoyance building but I push it back down.
"Don't be mad, girl, you know you're up there, too," Teresa assures me, nudging my shoulder.
"And besides, I wouldn't consider you being on my team a bad thing..." Michael replies, winking at me. A small smile comes across my face, but I quickly remove it.
"Perfect," Ashanti says under her breath, but I ignore her.
"Alright, teams. It's currently 1:00. We'll do as many items on our list as we can and meet back up here at 4. How does that sound?" James looks around at all of us and we nod in agreement.
"And the first one to find all of the items wins the cookies!" Teresa announces excitedly. We all chuckle a bit and nod again.
"You're on," I say competitively.
"Alright, see you back here in 3 hours." He says, handing his wagon to Michael and walking away with Teresa and Daniel.
"This'll be fun..." Daniel replies, nodding. Our teams split off to do their own thing and find the items on the list. Ashanti sticks to Michael the entire time, sticking to his side as though they were on a date. I have a feeling this is going to be a painful day.
"Okay, let's get started," I say with a determined smile. As we make our way through the market, we start looking at our list.
"Let's see, it looks like the first thing on the list is to take a picture with the most festive-looking person in the market," I say and Ashanti grabs her camera, handing it to me.
"Oh, that's easy." She does a little twirl and puts her hands under her chin. "It's obviously me." Michael and I glance at each other and start laughing.
"I'm not so sure that pink sequins and fur coats exactly scream 'festive'," I giggle and she shoots me a glare.
"Well, what would you know?" She turns her nose up.
"How about her?" Michael says, pointing towards a woman walking in the snow with a beautiful umbrella. She's wearing a cozy red dress and has Christmas trees stitched to the fabric. She has a green fur shawl on and lights braided into her hair.
"Now THAT'S festive," I grab my camera and we all start heading to her, Ashanti groaning under her breath. "Excuse me, miss!" I catch her attention and she turns around, smiling as we approach her.
"Hi, I'm Naomi, this is my cousin Ashanti and our friend Michael." I introduce. She holds her gloved hand out and shakes mine.
"Hello, I'm Helen." She does a small curtsy. After exchanging pleasantries, Michael asks her if she'll take a photo with us. Helen says yes and holds her umbrella out as we get someone to hold the camera for us. We gather around her and smile. With a flash of the camera, the small Polaroid photo ejects out the top and starts to develop. We thank the kind gentleman who took the picture and thank Helen. She walks away and we happily check the first item off the list.
"Alright, that's one off the list." Michael pumps his fist in the air and gives us both a playful high-five.
"Okay, next thing," I say, tucking the photo into my pocket. We set off to check more things off of the list. "We need to take a photo with a street performer or musician. That shouldn't be too hard; the market is filled with them."
As we continue through the lively market, we encounter various street performers showcasing their talents. From musicians playing cheerful tunes to magicians captivating the crowd, the festive spirit is in full swing. We finally settle on a group of carolers dressed in Victorian-era attire, harmonizing beautifully.
"Perfect," Michael declares, "Let's ask them for a quick photo!" As we approach, the carolers welcome us warmly, and we pose in front of the Polaroid.
"Ooh, let me choose the next one!" Ashanti says, pulling out her list. "How about the handmade ornaments?" She suggests.
"Now you're talking," I reply with a smile and we head towards the market's craft section. There are many booths with cute wooden trinkets, nutcrackers, and toys. After a bit of searching, we finally settled on a booth.
"Oh my gosh! This one would go perfectly on the tree! Don't you think?" Ashanti picks up an ornament that is covered in pink sparkles and shimmers. Michael and I grin at her, nodding in agreement.
"It really screams Ashanti," I comment and she takes it to the vendor to buy. I look around for a bit, wondering what I should get.
Michael picks out a small carved wooden reindeer from the section and I settle on a mini clay Santa Claus. I look back over at Ashanti and see her holding a star ornament made out of gold wires and encrusted with gems. I raise an eyebrow at her.
"I thought you wanted the other ornament?" I ask with a snicker. She simply smirks.
"I know, but this one is justΒ speakingΒ to me right now. I have to get it."
"Well, I gotta admit, it does look pretty festive," Michael adds, nodding his head. Ashanti smiles proudly.
"See, Michael likes it." She playfully sticks her tongue at me and I laugh.
"Don't worry, I like it as well." I look at my Santa Claus ornament and head over to buy it from the vendor. We take our pictures with the ornaments and place them in our wagon.
"Alright, that's three down, we're making good progress," Michael says as we start to walk again. He looks at the list and smiles. "I like this next one." Ashanti and I both look at his sheet to see what he's pointing to. It says "Find a mistletoe and take a group photo underneath it." Ashanti immediately lights up.
"Oh! I remember where they sell those!" She says, grabbing Michael's hand enthusiastically and pulling him in the direction of the booth. I sigh, shaking my head as I grab the wagon and follow behind them.
When I finally catch up, I see them standing in front of a charming mistletoe display near a Christmas tree vendor.
"Naomi, you hold the mistletoe, and Michael and I will kiss, okay?" She suggests and I raise my eyebrows at her. She's being bold today. Michael chuckles nervously and takes the mistletoe from Ashanti.
"How about you both hold the mistletoe and you both kiss one of my cheeks while I take the photo? That'll be a good picture for sure." He holding the mistletoe out to us. I exchange a playful glance with Ashanti, who seems to be more interested in being near Michael than holiday fun. Nevertheless, we gather beneath the mistletoe and we lean in to kiss his cheeks. Michael makes a silly face and snaps the photo. The result is a cute selfie that really captures the fun that we are having.
Over the next hour, we get pictures with a holiday elf, a gingerbread house, and even a guy with an ugly Christmas sweater. Ashanti keeps trying to cling to Michael, but he always seems uninterested in her. Instead, he makes sure to include me in the fun and we all have a good time hunting for the items off of the list.
"Dang, it's already 3:00," Michael tells us, checking his watch.
"And we've only got 9 things marked off the list." I sigh and Ashanti groans loudly.
"Ugh, this is taking forever!" She whines, dropping her shoulders.
"Well, this next one should be great, then. We need to take a pic drinking some hot chocolate. We can rest a bit there." I suggest. Michael smiles at the idea.
"Sounds good to me." He says and Ashanti nods as well.
"Oh, yes! It'll be the perfect pic to post on my story." She says, completely forgetting about the scavenger hunt and walking ahead of us. Michael walks beside me, breathing a sigh of relief.
"What, do you miss your little girlfriend?" I ask, teasingly. Michael rolls his eyes playfully and shakes his head.
"Don't even get me started on her." He replies, shaking his head as he laughs. "She's very determined, I'll give her that. But can I breathe?" He shudders and I laugh.
"Well, I guess that's the price of being a famous actor, Mr. Jordan," I smirk at him and he raises his eyebrows.
"So, it's like that then?" He questions, faking a look of hurt.
"Oh yeah, especially after today," I reply with a nod. Michael smiles mischievously at me and puts his arm around my shoulders.
"Aw, are you upset because Shanti keeps stealing me away from you, Ms. Samuels?" His voice is low as he leans into my ear and I find myself blushing again. I ignore the feeling of butterflies as I wrap my arm around his waist, looking up at him.
"Oh yeah, I'm so jealous, right now. I just want you all to myself." Sarcasm drips off my voice as our back-and-forth banter causes us both to burst out laughing.
"If I'm honest, I feel less pressured when I'm around you," Michael admits. "Most people treat me like I'm royalty or something, or they just see me as a celebrity. But I don't feel that with you. I feel like I'm just some regular guy and like you actually genuinely like me."
"Well, I do genuinely like you. You're more than just an actor and I think you deserve to be treated like a human being." I smile at him, leaning my head on his shoulder. Michael gently rubs my arm and gives me a reassuring smile.
"Thanks. I'd be lying if I didn't say that I genuinely like you, too," He whispers, playfully nudging me as we continue to walk. We catch up to Ashanti at the booth, where she's sitting on a stool posing for selfies with her mug. I sit next to her and Michael sits beside me, causing her to glance over at us.
"It's about time you two came over. Here, Naomi. Take some pics for me." She shoves her phone into my hand and I sigh, holding it up for her as she does various poses. Michael chuckles and starts ordering drinks from the vendor. When Ashanti finishes, she snatches her phone back to look at the results.
"You're welcome," I mutter under my breath. Michael slides a mug of hot chocolate towards me and I accept it graciously. "Thanks, Michael," I say, appreciating the gesture.
"Of course, here." He says, taking his Polaroid and standing it up against one of the menu stands. He sets the timer on the camera and leans close to me, flashing a smile and holding his mug up. I do the same and the camera flashes, printing out the photo. We clink our mugs together as the photo develops and begin to sip the hot chocolate.
Ashanti, noticing us clink our drinks together, seems upset again and pouts, glancing over at me before turning back towards Michael. We make eye contact and I give her a smile because I'm in a good mood and not about to be a killjoy. She ignores my attempt to be kind, though, as expected.
After finishing our hot chocolate, Michael stands up and picks up his camera. "All right, it's about time we get out of here. We're halfway through our list. Team, what items do we still have left?" I pull out my list and scan over it.
"Next one says to find a gift for someone in the family and have it gift-wrapped," I reply, before looking up and seeing the others. Teresa, James, and Dan stroll over all grinning at us.
"Well, well, well. Look who it is." Daniel gives us a smug smirk as they walk over.
"What's the smug look for?" I step up to him and cross my arms and he does the same.
"Oh, nothing, just worried you might go hungry when we eat all those cookies in your faces." He responds and we both glare at each other jokingly before breaking out into laughter.
"You two are something else." Teresa shakes her head.
"Don't act like you're not just as competitive, Teresa. I still have back pain from playing musical chairs with you." Dan retorts, rubbing his lower back. Michael leans over to whisper in my ear.
"Remind me never to play musical chairs with her." He says and I nudge his shoulder playfully.
"Have y'all gotten to the snowman one yet?" James asks and we all shake our heads. "Perfect, how about a contest, then?"
"A snowman-building contest?" Ashanti gives him a look of confusion.
"Yeah, each team makes the best snowman they can think of," Teresa adds.
"What does the winning team get?" Michael inquires.
"Nothing, it's just for fun."
"Oh, no, I don't do these types of things for 'fun'. There's gotta be something at stake." Ashanti says, tapping her foot.
"How about the loser has to knock down their snowman and take their photo with the remains," I suggest with a mischievous smile on my face.
"I like the sound of that." Dan nods.
"Let's do it!" Teresa shouts and we all head over to a wide patch of snow. The teams huddle to discuss our strategies and then take a couple minutes to gather any items we need.
"How about we make a fashion icon snowman?" Ashanti suggests.
"No, it's got to be something outside of the box. Something no one would think of." Michael replies, tapping his chin as he thinks. I smile once an idea comes to me.
"What about an upside-down snowman?" I look at their faces to see their reaction. "Who is also a fashion icon," I add and they both slowly smile.
"I've gotta admit, that is pretty outside the box. Let's go get the stuff!" Ashanti says and we hurry to find supplies. The snowman building begins and we enthusiastically make a snowman with its head buried in the snow, making sure that the other team doesn't see what we're doing. Michael, Ashanti, and I work together to create the perfect snowman, laughing as we give it quirky accessories and make it stand out.
Daniel's team reveals their snowman to be a gentleman with a top hat and a scarf, seemingly scrolling on a phone that happens to belong to James. We all get a kick out of it, but I know that ours is the one that's really gonna blow them away. We bring them over to our snowman and they immediately start laughing, enjoying how we put boots on top of the snowman for its feet.
