Cisco Ramon watched as Barry tried to have a conversation with you. And he really means tried. He would mix up his words when trying to say something, would stare at you almost creepily when you were talking or laughed way to loudly even when something wasn’t that funny.

He watched as you said you had to go. You and Iris were meeting up for lunch and you didn’t want to be late. He rolled his eyes as Barry offered to take you, almost eagerly, to which you politely declined and said that someone will most likely need the Flash soon. Cisco shouted out a good bye as you left.

Cisco then turned to Barry and watched as he still looked at the cortex doorway even when you were out of sight. Barry looked away and his goofy smile fell when he realized Cisco was watching him. “I know, I know”, Barry said, sighing.

“Dude, when are you going to tell her?”, Cisco says exasperatedly. It wasn’t that Cisco didn’t like you, in fact you were like a sister to him. He was just getting tired of seeing Barry making wistful eyes at you all the time. “We’ve talked about this! Just tell her you’re in love with her!” 

Barry shakes his head and runs a hand over his hair, “ Trust me, I’ve tried. But every time when i’m ready to tell her, we get interrupted. And if it’s not that, then it’s me.” He stares off into nothing and an enamored smile slowly creeps onto his face, “ She makes me nervous. She’s just... so amazing. When I look at her, I forget everything and everyone around us.”

Cisco purses his lips and pats Barry in the back, almost sympathetically. “You’ve got it real bad dude”, he says, then smiling, “ It’s a good thing you have me as your best friend. I am going to help you, but only because I am tired of seeing you following her around like a puppy and because I totally ship you two.”

“There is someone I think you should meet,” says Alice excitedly, leading you away from the new married couple.  

You have known Alice and Jasper for quite a few years now but never had the chance to meet everyone in their coven. It seems that a wedding was the perfect opportunity. 

Walking towards a group of men, she calls out,” Carlisle!” And a tall man with blonde hair turns to face you. “This is Y/N! The friend I’ve be telling you about,” she tells him, smiling widely. Your eyes meet his and it is as if the world has stopped spinning. All you can see is him and all he can see is you.

He smiles at you, “ It is a pleasure to finally meet you. I’ve heard great things.” He takes your hand and places a gentle kiss on the top, all without breaking eye contact with you. 

If you could blush, your cheeks would have been the brightest shade of pink. You smile at him and say, “ If they are all great things, then they are all a lie. Would you like to know the truth?” 

He holds out his arm and says, “ I would love to. A walk perhaps?”

You interlock your arm with his and smile, “Lead the way.”

“I really don’t think this is a good idea”, you say to Eric. 

Coming to an amusement park wasn’t your idea. If it were up to you, you would be curled up on a couch next to Eric, watching some cheesy horror movie. But no, you are sitting next to Eric, strapped into a seat on a highly dangerous roller coaster.

Eric chuckles and gently squeezes your hand, that has been tightly holding his since you sat down, “ You’ll be fine Y/N. If this wasn’t safe, they wouldn’t let people on.” Oh, how wrong he was. 

Sure you didn’t fly out of your seat, but the moment the ride reached its highest point and dropped, you were out like a light. Eric, who was to busy enjoying himself, didn’t notice you had passed out until he felt your hand let go of his.

By the time you snapped out of it, the ride was over and was pulling up to the exit. The sound of Eric’s booming laughter echoing in your ears.

The sun was shining through the window, lighting up the room. Though Matt could not see it for himself, he could feel the heat of the sun warming up the bedroom. He knew that it would soon wake you and you would start running around the apartment getting ready for work. Next to you he laid, listening to everything around him.

There was the occasional honk of a car from the slowly growing Hell’s Kitchen traffic. The voices of bystanders on their way to various locations. A birds chirp here and there. The slight hum of a downstairs neighbor vaccum. The soft heartbeat of his girlfriend next to him. And right below hers’ was the soft heartbeat of his unborn child.

ba bump, ba bump, ba bump

This is not the first time he has heard it, the first being when you both went to your first check-up. You had cried and to be honest, so did he. Since then he likes to lay awake and listen to its’ heartbeat. It calms him in a way, he can’t believe that someone like him who has done so much bad, can make something so pure and innocent.

It seems that he was so focused on the baby’s heartbeat that he had not noticed you were awake. Sleeping on your back is now a daily occurence, so when you opened your eyes Matt was the first thing you saw. You smiled as you noticed the concentrated look on his face and knew he was listening to the little one’s heartbeat. Raising your hand to his face, you softly caressed his cheek which snapped him out of his focused state.

He smiled and grabbed hold of your hand, kissing the side of it. “Did the sun finally wake you?”

You huff out a laugh, “Sadly, yes. I should really get some curtains soon.” Matt chuckles, you’ve been saying that for the past couple weeks. You sit up next to him, leaning back against the headboard. “ How’s the heartbeat?,” you ask him.

Matt grins as he quickly listens in, differentiating between your heart beat and the baby’s. ba bump, ba bump, ba bump. “Still as strong and healthy as always. Just like yours.” You smile and lean in, kissing his cheek as his hand lands on your pregnant belly and softly caresses it. “I have to admit something... When I first met you, I knew that it was a day I would never forget. The first time you told me you loved me, i’ll admit I was scared. Everything I do is dangerous and I could never forgive myself if something were to happen to you because of me. But you stayed, after everything and now you are giving me one of life’s greatest joys. This is the happiest I’ve ever been in a long time and i’m glad you’re the reason for it.”

There were tears running down your cheeks as Matt placed his hands on the side of your face and kissed you.

“Thanks again, for doing this, “ you say to your old friend. It was hard to convince him to do this considering Grant’s past. You knew that his team would give him hell for what he was about to do.

Joshua Foley sighs and rolls his eyes. “ I’m only doing this so that I won’t have to owe you anything anymore.” He steps into the room and looks at you. “Why can’t you ever date one of the good guys for once.”

You roll your eyes and say, “ Because the bad guys have all the fun. Now, can you do this? I’m sure your team is already wondering where you are.” You stand next to the bed where Grant’s body lays and look at Joshua expectantly.

“Fine,” says Joshua. He steps forward and places his hand on Grant’s chest. Grant’s body lurches forward and a deep breath is taken in. You’re sat next to him in seconds and Joshua steps back, “ If you ever need anything else, don’t call me.” 

You don’t even notice Joshua leaving the room, your eyes trained on Grant’s face. He’s sitting up, deep breaths taken in and out, eyes darting all across the room until they finally meet yours. There’s a sense of recognition and in a hoarse voice says, “Y/N?”

You smile at him and place your hand on his cheek, slowly caressing it. He leans towards your touch and closes his eyes. “Welcome back, baby.”

Heading towards the table the group is at, you are just in time to hear Isaac say, “ I’ll see you guys later.” He stands abruptly and practically runs back into the school. 

You stop in front of everyone and with a pout say, “ Okay, I’m going to ask you guys something and I want the truth. Does Isaac not like me?” They laugh and scoot over for you to sit. Taking a seat next to Lydia, you say,” I’m serious! Every time I’m around he always suddenly leaves or he just decides to not say anything. When I ask him something he can barely look me in the eyes or he looks like he’s about to be sick!” 

Scott chuckles and says, “It’s not that he doesn’t like you. He’s just ... shy.” He shrugs and you hear Stiles scoff loudly.

“He’s not shy. He stopped being shy once he became a werewolf. You wanna know why he really runs away?,” he says looking at you. You nod and he firmly continues, “He runs away because he’s in love with you.”

Your eyes widen in shock and your breath catches in your throat. You were not expecting this. Sure you’ve had a bit of a crush on him since you were little but never did you expect that he would like you back.  Even less that he would be in love with you. You stand up abruptly and say, “ I’ve got to go.” You start walking back into the school, your heart beating rapidly.

“Where are you going?!,” you hear a voice shout behind you.

Without turning back, you shout back, “ To find Isaac!”
