My Lost Sisters

My sisters are missing. I do not know where they are.  And I fear that I may never see them again.

I've been waiting for years for the answer to why my sisters are missing.

But the answers that have come have not satisfied me. For they are my sisters and I want them to be safe with me.

They claim that they will return one day and that I should not make a big deal of it.

But so many of my sisters are missing and many have never returned.

When will it change? When will it be for more than a day to remember them?

I miss my sisters, all of them. I want my sisters to be found and brought home, no matter the state. For they are my family.

My heart is aching for answers as to why. Why are they missing? Why are they taken?

I fear that my words will fall on deaf ears as it happens so often.

The cries of my other sisters the ones who are here, the ones who can speak.

We all cry out for our missing sisters.
