stan is the only member of the pines twins^2 to never make a deal with bill and i think he needs more credit for that.

ford makes, just, so many deals with his demon boyfriend

dipper literally trades his body to bill in sock opera

and while i will die on the hill that it was never her fault, mabel is tricked into making a deal with him for weirdmagenon.

but stan never gets tricked. the only time he comes close was when he was pretending to be ford but that was with the sole purpose of getting bill erased. never does bill get to him or twist his thoughts. for being the "dumb one" he's surprisingly rational in this was.

nobody matches bill intellectually, ford's fatal flaw is that he thought he did, and the pines family wins because they have an emotional core that bill never had (the power of sibling bonding saves the day and i love it) but ill go out on a limb and say that out of everyone, stan is the only one to match bill's street smarts.

bill's a master manipulator but stan is a professional con-artist with no respect for the law, you tell me who's coming out on top.

stan successfully faked his own death, ran a business for 30 years, taught himself some sort of advanced engineering to repair the portal, evaded local, federal and international authorities from the age of 18, and did it all without any support.

and going back to when he pretends to be ford to get bill to enter his mind, that scene makes stan the only character to ever outwit bill.

In a role swap au where Tanjiro is the demon and Nezuko is the demon slayer, do you think Mitsuri and Rengoku should swap aswell???? Because of how close nezuko got to mitsuri I think it's comparable to how close Tanjiro got to rengoku. But ultimately I'd sob if they gave mitsuri rengokus fate

The Legend of Zelda: Restoration of Faith

A original Zelda story. Hyrule’s Royal family was overthrown by the kingdoms angry populace. The Royal bloodline is lost in the process, as is the power of Hylia. Generations later, Link has to find Zelda and get her powers online to stop the Curse of Demise bringing the kingdom crashing down. Currently has some scenes written and the plot planned out but nothing resembling a completed work yet (:

Demon Slayer x Legend of Zelda (botw/totk). Hear me out.

The story starts with Link (farmer?? idk) who's already friends with Zelda, when something happens and she turns into a demon/monster (I see this as her still looking human but with features taken from her dragon form in totk - eyes, horns etc). It is revealed that this is the fault of Ganondorf, who is still the Demon King, and therefore Link must defeat him to turn Zelda back to a human/hylian.

He starts his training to be a demon slayer under the guidance of Impa, and starts taking on low-level threats of monsters/demons under the control of the Demon King. Purah still researches technology and helps Link with information about demons/monsters and ways to defeat them.

Zelda can still help Link out in difficult fights - similar to how she fights in Age of Calamity, or else with an ability similar to the time manipulation/rewind in Tears of the Kingdom. Towards the end of the game, she unlocks her anti-evil sealing power which gets the Demon King's attention, whereupon he seeks to overcome or steal her power.

The hashira are replaced by the champions (or the sages). Link spends time with each one, learning new skills and gaining strength.

The master sword, of course, is the equivalent of Yoriichi's katana.

I've seen so many people made comparisons of the still world and the distortion world from pokemon platinum ever since the newest trailer dropped and I can't help but to draw this lol.

The distorion world was sadly not included in the gen 4 remakes, which is ashame since it was my favorite part of the game. Platinum supremacy 😤

Here’s a interesting idea what if tanjiro’s father was a Hashira before his illness became so bad he was forced to retire?

I agree, that is a very interesting idea! I've seen some fanfics use the idea, and I love the story potential.

Especially the comedy that can come from Urokodaki and Shinjurou looking at Tanjirou(AKA Tanjurou's carbon copy/Mini Me) and having to do a double take like, "WHAT DO YOU MEAN THIS IS HIS OFFSPRING AND NOT JUST HIM UNDER A BLOOD DEMON ART?!" A very confusing moment for both of them, when they meet Tanjirou.

And if Tanjurou faced one of the Upper Moons at any point during his career? Demons are either gonna be trying really hard to kill Tanjirou, or they're gonna be running for the hills the second they spot him. Which could prove helpful during a certain train-related incident!

But another interesting facet would probably be the expectations placed on Tanjirou, whether by himself or by anyone who knew his father as a Demon Slayer. Since it's mentioned Tanjurou's potential was on par, or at least close to Yoriichi, I imagine there would be a certain degree of pressure on Tanjirou to live up to that. Maybe not intentionally, but hearing the stories might give him that idea. And who knows how that would affect him during the series?

Meanwhile, Tanjurou's in the afterlife thinking about how he left the Corps both due to his illness and to protect his family(if he didn't retire right away after marrying Kie, then I imagine the latest would have been while she was pregnant with Tanjirou). And now his two eldest kids are in the field, Nezuko's a demon, and Tanjirou is fighting.

I genuinely think this is my best piece of art. I drew it at the end of April and I still wonder how I pulled it off :')
