I Wish(oneshot)

They had been riding through the woods in Light's (Four's Zelda) Hyrule, magically probing for any signs of the Darkness. Silent (Wild's Zelda) was asking her something but she had been too obsorbed in the scenery. She quickly turned around,

"I'm sorry what?"

Silent sighed "I asked if there was something you ever wished for as simply yourself."

Dusk (Twilight's Zelda) looked at her curiously, "When did this come up? It's not something I'd really expect you to say."

Silent's face turned solemn for a moment and Dusk was reminded of just how much she'd been through, it shouldn't surprise her that she had such deep questions sometimes.

"I-I've had them for a long time, I supposed that feeling like such a failure was something only other Zelda's could relate to. All of you faced hardships and yet in the history books it always seemed you plowed through them steadily, while my Divine Fate felt like everything I ever tried to accomplish fell apart at my feet."

Dusk placed a hand on her shoulder, "There will always be trials you must go through, you have to believe in your own strength, Hylia's bloodline hasn't lasted this long because we're weak and yeilding."

She felt her eyes glitter with pride, "I know because I've seen that strength in you."

She could see tears glistening in her eyes,

"Thank you," Silent whispered, "It's burdened me for all long that. .. . Hey! You were avoiding my question!"

Dusk sighed,"You know me too well, but I hope you realize I meant everything I said."

"I do, but I have to know, I can tell it . .. . Burdens you as well. I would know, I've seen that same look on myself."

Silent looked at her pleadingly, "I need to know what makes us the same."

Dusk sighed internally, she knew Silent would pester her until she gave in. Although some part of her felt touched that she cared so much.

"Very well, I will tell you, but get comfortable, this could take awhile. .. . "

The Legend of Zelda: Restoration of Faith

A original Zelda story. Hyrule’s Royal family was overthrown by the kingdoms angry populace. The Royal bloodline is lost in the process, as is the power of Hylia. Generations later, Link has to find Zelda and get her powers online to stop the Curse of Demise bringing the kingdom crashing down. Currently has some scenes written and the plot planned out but nothing resembling a completed work yet (:

Never in my life did I think I would come across a fanfic with footnotes.

Especially not used in a way to tell a story. To show emotions of a character going through it.

So now I'm going to beg Zelda fans to read this amazing fic because AAAAAAAAAAAA

And I still have 30 more chapters. I totally see myself making fanart for this one eventually.

Yes it's long, but it's WORTH IT. There is so much in this fic and the world building, foreshadowing and plot are impeccable.
