She's a dragonrider and her clothes bear a resemblance to her dragon's colors.

Aegon III/Daenaera named his son after Daenaera Velaryon's Daeron Velaryon. And the future Targaryens named Daeron's were named after KING Daeron I, not after some prince.

And before anyone opens their mouth, Daeron I is everyone’s namesake he existed in the story first, GRRM came up with Daeron I first.
