rhaenys burns the greens in the pit, goes to dragonstone to tell rhaenyra about the coup but says she’s already fixed everything. they all go back to king’s landing and the true queen is crowned. rhaenys is the queen’s hand. baby visenya is born a few weeks after the crowning. rhaenyra and daemon are living the pure domestic bliss with all their children. they all lived happily ever after. I think Laena knows high Valyrian or at least the essentials to command a Dragon, but we've never heard her say anything in that language apart from "Dracarys"

I think that most of those who know High Valyrian don't speak it in Westeros simply because there is no need and besides it is an almost dead language like Latin.

I think Daemon speaks High Valyrian just to connect more intimately with Rhaenyra, not just because he thinks it's a cool language, I think he wants to share the things he loves, enjoys and values ​​only with Rhaenyra. I don't think that, as Alicent and many viewers of the series say, Daemon tried to corrupt Rhaenyra or make her a mini-Daemon so that she would be his minion or his puppet.

Do you know why I think people want share the things that they love or appreciate? I think because like that we can make emotional connections and not feel alone and misunderstood. At least I know that those were my motivations to start writing my posts on this blog.

Despite the above, when sharing something that is really important to us, something that we adore and love, we are more selective about who we share those things with.

That is why when Rhaenyra (the young reflection of Daemon) talks about wanting to lead a life in solitude, Daemon intervenes in her life to make her change her mind. Because if there is someone who knows how painful a lonely life can be, is Daemon.

Daemon loves the Valyrian culture and I think it's because for him , Valyria always meant "The Home" . Daemon told Laena that the Velaryons and Targaryens didn't belong anywhere since the destruction of Valyria, but I think what he meant was that he himself feels like he doesn't belong to anywhere. Daemon has never fitted in, not at court, not on the battlefield, not in the quiet domestic life of the country, not in his first two marriages.

I think that one of the biggest motivations in Daemon's life is the search for home, a spot that it is can call him its.

That is a Home. When we say "Home" we say that it is ours, but in reality it is not as if it belongs to us, it is rather as if we belong to "The Home".

And I think we all know that a home doesn't necessarily have to be a place o spot.

A Home can be a Person.

Daemon talks to Rhaenyra in high Valyrian , he gave her a necklace made of the same material as his sword which he uses to fight and defend his life. He showed her his favorite places in King's Landing. He shared with her the knowledge of a secret tunnel in the castle. He shared with her his most intimate views about life, death, family, marriage and sex. He has given her his honesty.

Daemon has given Rhaenyra things that he hasn't given anyone else, not his brother, or apparently his wife or even his daughters.

Daemon doesn't want to corrupt Rhaenyra. He wants to spill himself into her. He wants her to make him hers. He wants Rhaenyra to be The Home he has desperately sought for so long.

He wants her to she can be the spot where he can live, love,hate, fight and die.

Because that is, after all, a "Home"
