imagine. caldre at the movie theater. you think they'd be the type to be rambunctious and like whisper too loud in the crowd while watching on a movie together? andre would probably be more silent and attentive while watching, maybe cracking a few jokes here and there to cal, and then considering cal's behavior at the poetry night, i have a feeling cal probably has no care about his behavior in like public places if he's not under the pressure of being judged by peers (take his night in the limo and his possible experiences at school as examples).

it's probably a really lame headcanon, but i wanna know ur thoughts on it. i'm a fan of movie theaters

andre is definitely quiet and stares at the screen, absorbing the movie and basically memorizing most parts. cal is the exact opposite. he’ll get a lot of snacks, especially a slushee, for the movie, which drives andre crazy. there are several times andre has had to take away cal’s slushee because he’s literally slurping at nothing and it’s so loud.

when something weird happens in the movie, cal asks about it, but he doesn’t whisper. he speaks over the movie, making sure andre can hear him. he’ll repeat lines over and over and laugh at his own jokes.

every single time the two of them go to the theater, they get shushed. andre profusely apologizes while cal stares at them or tells them to shut up. sometimes cal even gets andre angry and he’ll start making fun of the people telling them to be quiet too.

when they get to the car after the movie, cal barely lets andre even start the vehicle before he asks what the movie was about. he has two motives behind this question. first, he genuinely paid no attention and doesn’t know a thing about the movie. second, he knows andre loves to talk about it.

also… cal sits criss cross in the movie theater seat while andre leans back and rests his feet on the chair in front of him.

hey guys this is more of a serious post, but anyways.. does anyone know what to do with infected cvts? like.. the past two times i’ve done it i’ve had one or two infected ones and i don’t know what to do about them bc that’s never happened before

if i sound stupid i’m sorry. just want to know if anyone has any tips or anything bc i don’t want my arm to fall off or whatever

pop music plays on the speakers in the kriegman basement, quiet due to cal constantly turning them down. andre’s on the floor doing push-ups and following a workout routine his coach assigned him for track. he’s on number 23 and counting out loud until he gets to 40.

he glances up to see cal sprawled out on an old couch in the corner of the room with a book from english class in front of his face. he’s not reading, though. he’s peaking up over the book, staring at andre.

“you want to join me?” andre asks, startling cal out of his stupor.

cal hums in response; he thinks andre is joking. the older boy suddenly stands up and walks toward cal with outstretched arms. “c’mere.”

“i’m not doing fucking push-ups,” cal snaps. he is dead serious, but he’s still putting down his book and standing up.

“you don’t have to, dumbass. you’ll be my weight.” andre gives cal a toothy smile. when he spots the confusion on cal’s face, he clarifies what he means. “look, i have about 20 more push-ups to go. you sit on my back while i do them. the more weight, the more of a workout i get. it’s simple.”

that’s how cal finds himself sitting sideways on andre’s back while andre swears and grunts until he gets to 40. cal quickly gets off his friend’s back, at least before andre collapses onto the ground.

“dumb idea on my part. we’re never doing that again.”
