okay so… i feel like it depends on who he’s in a relationship with: andre or anyone else

in a relationship with andre, cal would never leave his side. they would sit in silence together or cal would simply come over even if andre wasn’t home just to sleep in his bed. their love wouldn’t be loud, but it would definitely be solid and unwavering. he would show his love through acts of service and quality time, sometimes even physical touch but that is a touchy subject for both him and andre, so he mostly strays away from it. he gets jealous easily and doesn’t think it’s obvious, but it definitely is. andre can read him well enough to know he’s angry.

in a relationship with someone else, cal would still spend a lot of time with them, but he would need breaks. he would get frustrated if he spent too much time with them, getting overwhelmed and his social battery dying out. he would hate physical touch, opting for gift giving because he’s not good with words. he wouldn’t like to hang out with the person’s friends and doesn’t trust that they don’t say stuff behind his back like the kids in the limo did once he got dropped off an andre’s place. he also gets jealous in this relationship too, but instead of getting angry he just gives the person the silent treatment. he’s the type of boyfriend your friends hate and you don’t see anything wrong with until you get out of the relationship.

cal and andre’s first kiss happened when they were high. it was a couple days after new years, and they were laughing about how the cold air made it look like they were smoking even when they didn’t take a hit. their laughter died down, and andre looked over to see cal staring at him.

when they met eyes, neither of them looked away. they weren’t really thinking, both high out of their minds. andre leaned forward and quickly pressed a kiss to cal’s lips. it only lasted for about five seconds.

when they parted, they kept eye contact for a while before bursting into laughter. it was so normal for them. even when got sober and they realized what they did, they didn’t even need to talk about it.

cal almost thought that andre didn’t remember it until they were driving back to cal’s house one day, and andre took his hand from the wheel and intertwined it with cal’s. cal smiled at him and was sure he could see andre’s face flush a light shade of pink.
