this is a little dark but 🤷‍♂️

imagine cal carving andre’s initials onto his hip. he’d show andre the next time they hang out, telling the dark haired boy that it’s only fair he does the same. cal sits back and watches andre’s face contort with pain as he makes a big red CG on his hip. when andre’s done, cal immediately bombards him with compliments. andre begins to associate the pain with cal being proud of him. he would do whatever he had to, go through however much pain, to make cal happy.

in the court cases after zero day and the boys passing, there is a piece of evidence that is not released to the public: the final bullets shot by andre and cal. they are never shown, never even mentioned to anyone other than the families and the law who deemed it unnecessary to show.

the bullets weren’t any ordinary bullets, though they were almost identical to the ones used on other students. these two bullets were engraved. each one had two letters. the one found in cal’s skull had the letters AK on it. the one found in andre’s skull had the letters CG on it.

andre 10000% talks in his sleep. in between soft snores, he’ll mutter random words. no one really pointed it out until he had his first sleepover with cal who wouldn’t let him forget about it after. slowly, cal becomes used to the boy beside him saying random things, some even unintelligible. on certain nights, cal will try to have a conversation with him only to receive whispered words and small grunts. a couple of the tapes include these late night conversations, but cal decides that andre doesn’t need to know that.
