Introducing My ROTTMNT AUs: Introducing Camp Hamato! (1/4)

Introducing Camp Hamato! Camp Hamato is a Summer/Sleep-away Camp AU! In this AU- Humans, Yokai, and Mutants live together in..slight peace, but there was sometimes harsh conflicts, so one day- Two humans and four mutants creates a Summer/Sleep-away Camp where Humans, Yokai, and Mutants could have their best summers! Camp Hamato is deeply inspired by the Disney Channel show “Bunk’d” and Percy Jackson’s Camp Half-Blood! In the camp, there are 6 cabins with Leo, Mikey, Raph, Donnie, April, and Cassandra as their counselors:

Each cabin is unique in their own way, as each camper taking a special ‘assessment’ to find out which cabin they belong after participating in different activities based on the cabins! Every Camp-Season (when they have camp), they have a BIG party before that Camp-Season ends, they do one last campfire night, telling scary stories, sing camp songs and such! I may make posts detailing about each cabin (and more of the AU) soon! I really hope you guys like this AU, and I might make an ask blog…but we’ll never know!

GEUSS WHAT! Three special things are happening today! Today is…My half birthday! And…THIS BLOG’S 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY (YIPEE!)! But…today is something else special…today is…

VINCENT / VINCENZO’S DEISGN - A - VERSARY!

Yep- you read that right- a design - a - versary! And if or before your ask- it’s something I made up- basically it’s an anniversary for when you first created something (note: If this actually already exists i hope it doesn’t mean something bad-). But today is a special day! Exactly one year ago on this specific week, Vincent Hamato was created! This specific OC has brought me..a LOT of memories, sketches, roleplays, and moments- Vincent was a core part of my experience in OC creating and the TMNT fandom- as they were actually the first TMNT-related OC I’ve ever made- and it all started within one week. And now I want to celebrate that! And this will mark the first ever Design-a-versary for my OCs.

(How to tell them apart: Vincent is the one with the staff/spear-like weapon in the center of the art, Vincenzo is the one who is white and faded out on the right side of Vincent.)

p0t3n1al’s concepts - Hibiscus

Here’s a concept for ANOTHER Siren in Ceylon’s family- meet Hibiscus Sirni (He/She)! Hibiscus is the “romantic siren” in the family, hence their design having a LOT of hearts (fun fact- another reason Hibiscus’ design has hearts is because Hibiscus tea can be used as an aphrodisiac!) Hibiscus is also one of the teenage assassins! She is quite the flirt- known for helping many with relationship advice- and their inevitable sass! And when I FINALLY get enough motivation to find the perfect outfit for him- (and color palette-) I’ll make the Reference sheet and offically introduce him.

(Special Fact! They are a mentioned Counselor in my AU, Camp Hamato!)

(I’m experimenting with their design- like changing their leg warmers to leg wraps [Like how the brothers wore them in the ROTTMNT Movie]. And possibly giving them more details noting towards their original inspiration; The ‘Starry Nights’ Painting by Vincent Van Gogh, while keeping their design simple and more rememberable.)

Vincenzo’s design was very inspired from the iconic painting; Vincent Van Gogh’s ‘Starry Nights’, But I have tried to keep their design simple so it would more simpler for me to remember and draw them more easier, while adding notable details hinting to the inspiration like Vincenzo’s mask tails, which the ends are actually supposed to be star-shaped, while the designs on their mask tails are matching the black markings on their arms and legs, while keeping a reference to the cypress trees (?) in the painting. But- I still haven’t designed the sash/belt for Vincenzo yet, but it will be revealed soon!
