Introducing My ROTTMNT AUs: Introducing Camp Hamato! (1/4)
Introducing Camp Hamato! Camp Hamato is a Summer/Sleep-away Camp AU! In this AU- Humans, Yokai, and Mutants live together in..slight peace, but there was sometimes harsh conflicts, so one day- Two humans and four mutants creates a Summer/Sleep-away Camp where Humans, Yokai, and Mutants could have their best summers! Camp Hamato is deeply inspired by the Disney Channel show “Bunk’d” and Percy Jackson’s Camp Half-Blood! In the camp, there are 6 cabins with Leo, Mikey, Raph, Donnie, April, and Cassandra as their counselors:

Each cabin is unique in their own way, as each camper taking a special ‘assessment’ to find out which cabin they belong after participating in different activities based on the cabins! Every Camp-Season (when they have camp), they have a BIG party before that Camp-Season ends, they do one last campfire night, telling scary stories, sing camp songs and such! I may make posts detailing about each cabin (and more of the AU) soon! I really hope you guys like this AU, and I might make an ask blog…but we’ll never know!

Camp Hamato Designs - Leo!
After a good while of school and karate (surprise!), I finally was able to make Leo’s design in Camp Hamato!
CH(Camp Hamato)!Leo wears a choker that is blue- resembling him being a Blue Beauty, he also wears bracelets made by the other Cabin Leaders (Casey, Donnie, April, Mikey, and Raph) [Fun fact! In Camp Hamato- their currency is bracelets- but the campers cannot use friendship bracelets as currency.], while also having the markings/shapes that resemble the Cabin Leaders on his mask tails.
Some of Camp Hamato’s details/facts about their fashion/accessories!
Camp Hamato’s campers can wear accessories signify which Cabin they’re in- such as chokers, bracelets, charms, even scarves!
In Camp Hamato, friendship bracelets are VERY special- that they even exchange bracelets on Valentines Day! They can show both platonic and romantic affection based off what the camper (who made the bracelet) uses.
Dresses aren’t seen very often around camp- as it can get very messy during camp activities and games- but campers can wear skorts as a substitute!
Camp Hamato has it’s own Fashion week with different themes- and the Blue Beauties ALWAYS dress the best.
The jewelry makers of the Camp are equally The Orange Originators and The Blue Beauties.
Sometimes, when a (playful) war breaks out within the camp, every cabin will have a fashion show battle- seeing who will have the best fashion- The Blue Beauties used to win, but now the other cabins win more often.
The only time the campers can be formal is during the camp’s dances, balls, or masquerades (such as the Starling Ball- which has been asked about in Camp Hamato’s Ask Blog.)

Camp Hamato Designs - Mikey!
After ANOTHER good while of school and karate (w/ a tournament and upcoming belt test), I hath made ANOTHER Camp Hamato Reference sheet- hooray!!
CH!Mikey is known for often getting VERY messy at times, but somehow knows how to clean it up with ease! With his cabin being the most creative, his design has a LOT of splotches, matching his markings! Mikey is also known for wearing (some but not all) bracelets not on the wrist, but on his palm and thumb, wanting to have enough space to hold ALL his bracelets! (Some say there’s hundreds of bracelets underneath his ankle warmers and fingerless gloves.) He wears his Cabin (The Orange Originator)’s choker; a orange fabric choker with beads around it!
The Orange Originators’ Fun Facts!
The Orange Originators are well known for many things (ESPECIALLY BRACELET MAKING.)
Because they are well known for their creativity, they do many art-related projects!
Every Camp Season, every Orange Originator will get a paintball gun and outside, before shooting at the cabin’s exterior, giving it a new layer of paint: representing a new beginning! (Mikey takes a picture of the Cabin before being repainted, he loves seeing and remembering the old, while embracing the new.)
They have painting, bracelet-making, sculpting, and even blindfolded painting contests!
The Orange Originators are dubbed as / has the secondary moniker (name) of “The Cabin of Creation”.
They have different divisions in the cabin (as in different areas/ territories of beds and such) named after artists!
They LOVE graphic novels (along with the Blue Beauties)

More OCs, new and old- will be revealed in Camp Hamato and my (and this blog’s) first ever oc-based AU! While stuff brews- but not in the form of sweet, savory tea leaves..but in another way- with new counselors in the mix (and confused)!
Along with that, many new things are going to happen during today and the week following (including tomorrow), but I may not post much on Saturday due to my Belt Test. But this will be..quite eventful!

Now- since the Truce festival has settled down after a near-injury..let’s just say someone is going to have a Splash- because CAMP HAMATO: THANKSGIVING TRUCE TROUBLE IS OVER- but not really.
The truce festival is still happening! But there’s a slight disturbance.

After being two days late to posting this (due to family visiting), I finally am posting this!
Raph’s Sweater
“C’mon, Raph- say cheese!”
“I dunno..”
During their winter festivals and christmas parties, the Red Rackets have noticed that their Cabin Leader, Raph, doesn’t really wear any sweaters, just a hoodie (with his spikes ripping the fabric- while everyone else is snug in their sweaters. So, as a Christmas present, they gifted their Cabin Leader with a sweater that fitted him- with holes that went around the spikes! They also made a bandanna with their Cabin’s symbols (diamonds) along the eyes, Raph cried rivers afterwards.
Mistletoe Matching

In the most unexpected times during Christmas season, shipping campers sneak around and secretly put matching mistletoes (that have subtle details that only a pair of two mistletoes will have) on counselors that they ship- unfortunately, Amora was a target of the mistletoe matching, almost always being matched with Deimos - along with a few other Counselors, and this time, Camp Usagi’s campers got into the seasonal shipping scheme, putting their matching mistletoes on Chizu and Kitsune.
Randomly Rudolph
“Why do I have to do this?!”
“Its your turn, Hibiscus.”
Every year, a counselor is randomly chosen to wear a red nose and sing “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” during the Christmas karaoke. It all started as a small, silly joke, but soon it turned into a tradition where a cabin’s counselor must fall into the day-long curse of the red nose. Unfortunately, Hibiscus was cursed with the red nose this year.
B.O.B Season..
As the season of giving comes along, there always comes the Bags of Bracelets, also abbreviated as B.O.B- they are always a great gift for Campers, Counselors, and Cabin Leaders in Camp Hamato, as they are also the camp’s currency (except friendship or valentine’s bracelets.) The bags are marked based off which Cabin it was made in, like a BOB from an Orange Originator would have splotches and an orange color palette, while a BOB from a Red Racket would have diamonds on it and a red color palette.

Ah, yes- mistletoes…but we can’t end it off without a little surprise, eh?

Camp Hamato : A New Year’s Nuisance
A New Years Camp Hamato Fic
(Colored Dialogue is the Cabin Leaders speaking [Leo, Mikey, Donnie, Raph, April, and Casey], While colored names are names of the counselors, the color of the name will be what cabin they are in [ex. If counselor’s name is blue, they are a Blue Beauty Counselor.])
It was new years day, and everyone was knocked out and hungover (by juice, soda, sparkling water, and other child-friendly drinks)- until..
“CABIN LEADERS!”
A counselor burst into the break room (which is only used for making midnight snacks, coffee, tea, retrieving energy drinks,mug cakes, and whatever someone may do in a break room), flailing in panic as the cabin leaders were busy trying to recover from the new year party’s events; with Leo sipping on Chamomile tea that Mikey made, Donnie passed out next to a mug of now room-temperature coffee mixed with some Red Bull that he mixed himself, along with Raph also sipping tea with Mikey, April, and Casey. It was best to say the cabin leaders weren’t ready for the news that they would soon know..
In a few seconds.
Leo nearly choked on his tea, startled by the yell as everyone else were sobered from their exhaustion- except for Donnie, now thinking that someone was missing or killed.
“What happened?! Did someone get hurt? Is someone hurt? Did someone set something on fire? What is it- WHAT IS IT???” Worried April, who nearly dropped her mug of tea, with mikey thankfully catching it with his hand (with the other holding his own mug)- but with some of the tea unfortunately spilling. Raph nearly broke the mug with her hands due to the sudden yell, not expecting something so loud to hear in the crack of the morning.
“There’s a problem at the counselor’s cabin- oh.” The counselor explained- before realizing that the cabin leaders were still trying to wake up after a very long night. “Uh- Sorry.” The counselor mumbled, embarrassed about such a scare to the cabin leaders. “No need to be sorry- what happened?” Raph assured, standing up and setting her mug down on the coffee table. “There’s a problem at the counselor’s cabin- everyone’s knocked out!” The counselor detailed, before all the cabin leaders suddenly sped out the cabin, somehow getting to the counselor’s cabin in almost under a minute- with a fruity smell emitting from the door. “…well that was fast.” The counselor mumbled.

When they got there, they all looked around- with the exterior looking casual as always, but as soon as they opened the door, it was almost like a murder mystery..without the murder.
“Oh. My. Gosh.” Mikey marveled, looking at the quiet chaos of the counselor’s cabin; with three counselors dogpiled under the mistletoe; four counselors sleeping on two sides of the couch- with two sleeping peacefully, and the other two laid next to eachother…along with a ping-pong paddle stuck in the ceiling and a few other things evident in the cabin’s interior. “What happened?” Donnie yawned, now exhausted from running and having to see a few of his own counselors in the mess. “Looks like their party went wrong- what type of soda did we give them?” April asked, looking over at the other cabin leaders, before Donnie took out his phone and opened his spreadsheet app (which is used for 90% of the camp parties, except for the *cross-cabin sleepovers). “All three Coke variations (original, diet, zero sugar), Sprite, Fanta, Dr.Pepper, Canada Dry Ginger Ale, and..sparkling water, if that is a soda.” Donnie listed, eyeing the bottle sparkling water on the table suspiciously.
“All of those aren’t bad- maybe it was a massive sugar crash?” Mikey suggested, looking at how tired they all were. “Possibly,” Donnie simply responded, “But it smells like Leo.” He joked with a snort, “Very funny, Donnie.” Leo rolled his eyes, before giving Donnie a hard punch to his shoulder. “Hold the jokes for later, for now we need to find out what happened and who was where.” April reminded as Casey (who was going to playfully scare April), was simply standing behind her, her fingers curled like claws before she was stopped, “What’re you doing here, Casey?” Mikey pointed out, before Casey let out a groan of defeat, “Casey?” April looked over, seeing Casey with a frown. “My plan has FAILED!” Casey cried out, on her knees before Leo patted her back, “I’ve been there, Casey.” Leo assured.

A few minutes into the “invesigation”, a few (but not all) counselors were recognized: Hibiscus, Khaos, Amora,**Phoenix, **Silk, **Fin, and two visitors from Camp Usagi- **Koral and **Stingray- with four (Leo, Raph, April, and Mikey) of the cabin leaders questioning a few of the counselors while the other two (Casey & Donnie) helping the other counselors in the nurse’s cabin and giving them some water. Leo was interrogating the visitors;Raph was interrogating Hibiscus, Khaos, and Amora; Mikey was interogating Phoenix and Fin, April was interrogating and Silk.
“So I gotta ask, how did you two get here?” Leo raised a brow suspiciously, interrogating Koral and Stingray, who merely came “to celebrate with the other counselors” , “We came because we wanted to celebrate with the other counselors!” Said Koral, “Me too.” Said Stingray. “So what were you two doing yesterday’s party?” Leo leaned towards them, observing their behaviors closely- it was almost amusing to Koral and Stingray.
“We just sat on the couch, just before everything went crazy.” Stingray replied.
“Before everything went crazy?” Leo repeated, before both Koral and Stingray nodded.
“Yep.” Koral confirmed.
“Could you…perhaps tell me what happened?” Leo awkwardly asked
“Sure.” Stingray agreed.

“And what can you remember?” Raph kindly asked, while Khaos, Hibiscus, and Amora were sitting across from her.
“uh…a mistletoe?” Doubted Hibiscus,
“Oh yeah!” Amora agreed, as Khaos was nodding off with soft snorts.
“Anything else?”
“Yeah- Amora landing on me and Khaos.” Hibiscus grumbled, before Amora gave him a playful nudge, “It was on accident!” Amora chuckled.
“I could guess that.” Raph smiled, seeing the two counselors be playful after an odd event.

“And what were you doing at last night’s party?” April inquired of Silk, who was glaring at her, “And why should you know?” Silk sneered, “Silk, please.” April pried, as Silk crossed her arms, “You tell me and I’ll tell you.” Silk bargained. “Fine, deal. Apparently a counselor came up to us and told us in the morning that you guys were something happened last night, so we came and found you guys asleep like a naptime at a daycare.” April explained, picking up a notebook and a somehow chewed pencil. “Oh, that.” Silk mumbled, glancing off somewhere, “Well, I was hanging out with Trickster, until I saw a precious, perfect lamp.” Silk purred, having taking a liking to lamps.
“Then what?”
“…I may have eaten it.”
“You WHAT.”
“DON’T TELL RAPH.”
“…fine, only if you tell me what happened- WITH FULL HONESTY.” April assured.
“Okay, okay, fine!” Silk accepted, waving her hand dismissively to forget the ‘eating a lamp’ part (..which is awfully unforgettable.)

Meet The Counselors Pt. 1
Amora [she/her]
Amora, being well known for her creativity when it comes to performance is one of the Blue Beauty Counselors that help with choreography for plays, musicals, dance competitions, and anything including dance! She is also one of the counselors who help with camp dances (fall dance, stargazing ball, spring fling, valentines dance, etc). Amora comes from a family of 9 kids, you read that right- nine kids- AND she’s a triplet, a triplet out of 9 kids- and many fellow campers and counselors ask how she can bear through such a chaotic camp with LOTS of campers scampering around with not that many staff or counselors.
Hibiscus [he/she]
Originating from New York’s biggest underwater city and born into a well known, noble family, Hibiscus is a siren who at first is seen as mean, but when you get to know him, you’ll find out many things about him. She is also one of the oldest staff in Camp Hamato, being 19 years old. Often not speaking up about her past, Hibiscus often stays in the Blue Beauty Cabin watching or talking with the other camper or counselors or has lifeguard duty near the ponds, rivers, or any body of water in the camp- only just watching the campers swim around and play with no trouble. Hibiscus is the eldest child of three children, so when she first came to camp in late 2021, she was quite shocked to see so many kids, but as she got used to them, she treats the campers like they’re her own siblings.
Deimos [she/her]
Deimos, being one of few counselors that joined in early 2021, Deimos has grown up in Camp Hamato for quite a while, and has had a few phases too, a few memorable ones. Deimos is now a nurturing, fun counselor who often likes to make up games or challenges to distract the campers for a while, and somehow it always works…somehow. Deimos is one of the counselors Khaos sees as his own sister, often hanging out with him and cheering him up like she does with all the others at camp. Being born in New York, Deimos often took a liking to the bright things- especially times square with all the advertisements and screens, it always gives Deimos many ideas for camp. Deimos is a twin, the twin of Phobos, who is in the Purple Ponderers Cabin with Khaos, who he also sees as a sibling. Deimos has also helped with the fashion shows, often giving ideas or themes for the campers to use.
Trickster [he/him]
With his name not actually being Trickster, Trickster gained the nickname after winning a playfully brutal prank war. Trickster is often the counselor to turn to when you need to find someone or something, often pointing in the exact direction of what you may look for like an eerily accurate GPS. Trickster is a sucker for a good comic/graphic novel or two, the newest book of Dog Man? He’ll read it. The Baby-Sitter’s Club Graphic Novels? The whole collection and waiting for the next book. Nathan Hale’s Hazardous Tales? His favorite. (Somehow that got him an A in his social studies / history class) Trickster can easily handle a dozen of the campers by often telling them about a comic he read, often recommending it to them.
