DxP REWRITE - Rivalry

I mean, in game “Emmet” was Ansy’s rival, so I had to have a good reason why. Testing your friend‘s skill to see whether she truly can help your twin brother seems reasonable.

Also, yeah - the way Galar’s “Elite 4” is formatted (tournament style), there can only be one Champion every year, & Ansy couldn’t have beaten Ikrit. After that first journey together, Ansy had made some improvement, largely thanks to Ikrit (aka the mister taught me about actual strategy lol, where I used to just breeze through the games without really considering stats, STAB, natures, etc).

But Emmet doesn’t know that. Yet.

My Favorite PKMN by Type (blank!)

Still a little bit of time before we gotta start moving, so I thought I’d share the blank for anyone else who’d like to make one!

I didn’t share it last night because I didn’t ask .sheep if I could edit this, but since I couldn’t find the blank anywhere, nor .sheep (the only thing I could find on the whole internet was a filled out one that I personally cleaned up into this template lol), I figured it’d be okay unless / until they tell me otherwise. ^_^

Note: I'm a 1997 baby, so obviously my choices are largely influenced by what was popular when I was in school - and what was popular with my friend group.

DxP REWRITE - Subway Bosses

Hey look, it’s BW Ingo & Emmet! Young new Subway Bosses who quickly rose through the ranks of the Battle Subway. Drawing them together was so nice 🥲 I love the headcanon of how Ingo is more vocal while Emmet’s body language speaks for him. Also, uh-oh.

PS: that shot of Gear Station - it’s based on this very blurry promo art I found on Bulbapedia:

According to this, the weird dome-pillar-thingy we run around in the game was actually more of a steampunk contemporary art piece! Made me think of all those school trips to NY’s art museums.
