We’re almost through the week of this fundraiser, & this has been a wild ride, lemme tell you XD We got an advocate, emotional support plushes for kids in the storm, a bunch of Shinies, & more!

I was very happy to see Reshiram - they honestly don’t really need the rain gear (their Dragon type cancels out their Fire type’s weakness to Water), but I ended up giving them a little rain hood. Jumpluff was also nice - kind of like if Oddish could fly! >u<

lol that’s because Emmet takes on the role of Barry in DxP REWRITE as the rival character! Different teams, certainly different circumstances, but yeah! Part of it was for the plot, but part of it was based on my own playthrough of Shining Pearl where I just decided to name the rival “Emmet” & pretended all his running around was Emmet looking around Sinnoh for clues about Ingo:

It is funny; I gave Emmet his messenger bag & green scarf, but they both already wear stripes & both are always battle-ready, so it wasn’t too much of a stretch on the imagination! 💭

DxP REWRITE - Cobble Badge

Hehehe, the first appearance of Cynthia! Who, again, Ansy / I first encountered years ago in Unova XD

The Plates in this one may need a little extra explaining - the Mind Plate is found in the Solaceon Ruins, where there are a bunch of Unown. According to Bulbapedia, when detected by the Pokegear Radio, their psychic communication “is interpreted as the melody of the Azure Flute.”

The Fist Plate is found on the rainy Route 215 where a lot of Black Belts are just hanging out, one being right next to it. My thought was that they were making a pilgrimage to this little Lilligant shrine (there’s one for each Lord & Lady), & on sensing the presence of Ansy’s Azure Flute, it gave the team the Fist Plate.

Also, Maylene’s Lucario is busted. :T

A little earlier, I posted a screenshot from a news story that upset me, about FEMA’s hurricane relief efforts in NC. I took it down because this seems to be a developing story, & didn’t want to accidentally spread misinformation.

What we currently know about it is 1) there was a man arrested for making an armed threat against FEMA employees, & 2) due to violent threats driven by recently spread misinformation, FEMA had to pause their door-to-door help out of safety concerns.

All I’m hoping this is the last we hear of anything like this, & that these organizations that help in natural disasters like hurricanes (FEMA, NOAA, etc) will be allowed to continue the good they do for those who welcome it.

I want to donate so bad for the Hurricane relief... but I only have PayPal!!! :'o... Is there a way to donate with paypal at all?
