Some accounts say that that London show was in fact cancelled because Art was actually too ill to sing…Paul’s biography, however, offers a more amusing story. Also dying to know what happened at the hospital—did he just trip or was there some dramatic fainting incident 💀

This was the entirety of the write-up from Harpur College (Binghamton) in January 1967–their first show back after a winter break. There were sound/technical issues the whole night with Paul’s guitar and Art had a bad head cold and sounded miserable in the post-show interview. The author wasted no words in telling people that it was a bad show 💀

The audio of the interview still exists and is 25 minutes of Paul and Art’s wonderfully sarcastic responses to a terrible interviewer. There will likely be a montage of the funniest quotes to come, if anyone’s interested 🙃
