Both were born into powerful, ruling families.

Their older brothers were the familyโs respective heirs (Julius and Rhaegar).
Both families had ruling seats (Whitestone and Dragonstone).
Both of their families were over thrown/killed by another powerful family (The Briarwoods and the Baratheons and by proxy the Lannisters).
Both were on the run/living in the streets to survive.
Pale skin and white hair (Although for Dany itโs genetic and for Percy itโs because of stress).
Very long titles/names.

A couple months ago, I recently discovered Critical Role and I adore the cast and characters. I am also a fan of A Song of Ice and Fire by GRRM and I could not help but notice the similarities/parallels between the two properties. If anyone is interested in hearing my thoughts I would love to talk about them.
