Team Green Fanfiction Will Always Show Rhaenyra As A Sex-crazed Monster Who Abused Poor Baby Alicent
Team Green fanfiction will always show Rhaenyra as a sex-crazed monster who abused poor baby Alicent or she's the master manipulator who single-handedly orchestrated Alicent's suffering and left her with PTSD. Oh, and here's a treat: almost every single Rhaenicent fanfic makes Rhaenyra's little lie the driving plot and the sole reason for Alicent's misery or turning Rhaenyra into an abusive partner in modern aus, where she cheats on Alicent, leaving her alone with the kids to go party. Don't even get me started on Aemond x Sansa fanfics where, surprise, surprise, they both hate Dany and Rhaenyra equally and become the pretty perfect King and Queen of Westeros. ( Let's not forget the Ocs who kiss Alicent's ass every chance they get or Jon Snow falling head over heels in love with Alicent because she reminds him of Sansa @_@ )
I really love ao3's filter for this reason lmao. I literally can't stand to scroll through the HOTD fics with everyone's pro-TG shit.
It really shows how fucked their media comprehension is that they believe Aemond would even look at Sansa, let alone "love" her. Also the fact that they're obsessed with Alicent as Rhaenyra's victim is completely ridiculous. Alicent abused Rhaenyra for years, Rhaenyra only ever was angry with her before Alicent declared war on her. Even then Rhaenyra was wayyyyy more understanding than she should've been.
This is the first time I'm hearing about Jon falling in love with Alicent though, and I hate it with every fiber of my being. Jon likes warrior women, those who take control of their lives like Ygritte and Val. In other words the exact opposite of show Alicent.
Of course the reasoning for Jon x Alicent (🤢) is jonsa, those fans will never fail to amaze me with their delusion and stupidity. Their inability to understand the characters they claim to love is hilarious and infuriating.

On Daeron
Daeron "The Daring" Targaryen is often heralded as being the most stable of Alicent's children and even fairly well adjusted. I disagree with this idea. We know very little about Daeron from the book, and what we do know doesn't paint a very stable picture.
We know Daeron was born around the same time as Jacaerys, making them the same age. Viserys hoped raising them together would help heal the rift between the two families, he was wrong. Daeron grew to have a great rivalry with Jace, and the forced proximity only grew his and his older brothers' hatred of the Velaryons. He was sent to Oldtown when he was twelve to squire for Lord Ormund Hightower, and there he stayed until the Dance began.
So already we've debunked one of the popular headcanons I've seen written in fics. Daeron wasn't the "nice brother", he hated the Velaryons just as much as Aegon and Aemond. We also know that he didn't get away from Alicent and Otto's plotting when he got to Oldtown, if anything it was exacerbated. Daeron was now in the snake's nest, his life now completely devoted to the anti-Rhaenyra ideas his mother was devoted to.
Once the Dance began, Daeron helped win some battles for the Greens, but was purely the puppet of Ormund, never leaving his army. Then came Tumbleton. When Daeron came Lady Caswell and her husband's land, he mercilessly burned it to the ground and massacred the people. He did try to get Lord Hobert Hightower, who had succeeded Lord Ormund when he died during this battle, to stop the brutal sacking of the town, but he was ineffective.
After this, there was much turmoil in the ranks of the Hightower army, as Aemond was dead and Aegon was missing. There were arguments over succession and Daeron supported a plot to kill Ulf White and Hugh Hammer. Before this could happen, Ser Addam Velaryon attacked and killed Ulf and Hugh along with their dragons, dying in the process with Seasmoke. Daeron was killed when his tent collapsed on top of him when it caught fire.
Now what do we learn from these events? Daeron can be just as cruel as his siblings, raining fire down on the innocent smallfolk of Tumbleton. We also know that at sixteen, he had less control over his troops than Jace did. Daeron is not any better than the rest of TG, yes he's younger, but he committed atrocities and hated Rhaenyra and her family simply because he viewed them as inferior.

I was asked today by a journalist if we received a response from the white house to the letter we sent from the churches in Bethlehem asking for a ceasefire. I answered that the response was the veto vote in the UN. They celebrate Christmas in their land, and wage war in our land — Munther Isaac منذر اسØÙ‚ (@MuntherIsaac) December 10, 2023

My word to the journalists who attended our church to see our manger was: We want an end to this genocide that it taking place in Gaza: pic.twitter.com/gn2j2n2zWF — Munther Isaac منذر اسØÙ‚ (@MuntherIsaac) December 11, 2023

I love how Alicent hates Targaryen customs but knew she had to marry Aegon and Helaena to give more strength to his claim and knew that this way the targaryen blood would be higher than the hightower blood in their children, TG loves to criticize incest and call Targ inbreed freaks when Aegon and Helaena's children are 100% inbreed lol and if the greens' plans all went well, aegon and helaena's children would also get married in the future. so they should stop this moral and hypocritical criticism
TG stans are just the definition of hypocrisy. They rage against House Targaryen for using their dragons in war then support Aemond and Daeron who burned the Riverlands and Tumbleton. They condemn the Targaryens' rejection of Andal culture while the greens don't follow anything to do with the Faith. They despise the Targaryen incest when Aegon and Helaena were forced to marry by their "saintly" mother. They accuse the Targaryens of practicing blood purity and being bigoted when Alicent and her children believe that they are superior to Rhaenyra and her family as well as the rest of the realm.
The greens exemplify everything Targaryen antis claim to hate. It makes their hatred of Rhaenyra and Daenerys completely transparent. They hate them because they are women who took control of their lives and fought the patriarchy. Alicent (show) and Helaena simply suffered prettily, which is why they are acceptable. Aegon and Aemond were made into "victims" by the show and we know very little about Daeron which makes them excusable. TG stans only love the victimized ideas of their favs, which is why they ignore everything wrong with them.
"It's all about who's your favorite war criminal"
Sure, but yknow what? Rhaenyra didn't want to be a war criminal. She was forced into a war she wanted no part in by the stupidity and spitefulness of her half-brother. She wasn't even the one who wanted BnC to happen; Daemon was the one who organized that. She was ready to give up and end the war after her sons death, as any grieving mother would.
Then, they killed her aunt. Rhaenys was trapped and murdered unfairly in a fight. If it had been one versus one, she would've won. It is only because of Aemond and Vhagar that the war even HAPPENED, and only because of them the war continued. TG says she was cruel for not accepting the halfway ruling Alicent offered, but by then, her sons had taken almost everything from Rhaenyra. Lucerys, Jacaerys, Rhaenys, and she didn't even get to live to see Viserys come back alive.
Then she lived through the death of her other son, and Daemon. All she had left was Aegon III. Baela? Captured. Rhaena? Safe, in the Vale. Everyone else she loved was dead by that point; and then she was betrayed, and eventually murdered by her usurper of a half brother.
Rhaenyra is a victim and winner of the war, a tragedy and a victory. Not an "usurper" or "whore". She is the Black Queen.

Kinda ironic Rhaenyra gets dubbed "Maegor the Cruel with Tits", when one of his most abominable deeds was supposed to be killing his nephew- Aegon the Uncrowned- on a much smaller dragon, which is exactly what Aemond did to Nyra's child.
Meanwhile Aemond gets a nickname and a statue out of it.
