every day TG crying because they want Jaehaera to live in the series and be the mother of Aegon III's children, they don't even care about the girl they just want to be able to say that their green lineage continues in some way, they can't accept that TG lost in the end of the day and they want to shove this girl as if she had any relevance, jaehaera purpose was died, the end! I have nothing against her but these stans make me want ryan to kill the girl soon so i don't have to deal with this bullshit š
Jaehaera doesn't actually matter to TG stans except when they use her to try to rob TB of their victory. They don't consider that her mental health would suffer drastically if she had been forced to live as Aegon's wife. Yeah, it's tragic what happened to her, but that's kind of the point. She suffers because of her parents' and grandparents' awful choices. But to acknowledge that would mean admitting their favs are shitty people.
Jaehaera doesn't deserve to die, but her death helps show how the greens' actions negatively impacted the lives of Westerosi girls and women. But if course, if TG stans refuse to acknowledge the wrongs TG has done. Jaehaera was doomed from the moment Aegon chose to usurp Rhaenyra (no he wasn't forced, he made a choice), she might have been even from birth, considering Aegon and Helaena were forced to marry purely to support his claim.
Aside from the themes and narrative, Jaehaera herself would not have been happy as queen. She's traumatized, has mental disabilities, and would have a really shitty marriage. If she could live, why would she want to live in a loveless (at best) marriage while the kingdom is in mass turmoil.
Anyone who wants Jaehaera to survive and be married to Aegon III doesn't understand the story or care about her as a character. Jaehaera was doomed by her family from the start, if TG stans want someone to blame for her ending, they should look at their favs.
Yeah, you are right I, too, become racist when Iām stressed. I also became racist when my twin sister died. Rhaenyra is only a victim.
Did you actually read any of my posts about Rhaenyra and Nettles? Because that's definitely not what I said lmao. I said that the sources that claim Rhaenyra said derogatory slurs about Nettles are unreliable at best.
Mushroom made up a whole ass person to make the story more dramatic. He threw in the he slept with Rhaenyra for fucks sake. Septon Eustace crowned Aegon himself and hated Rhaenyra. He wasn't even in KL when Rhaenyra took the throne.
If you're going to try to argue with me, please find actual things I said instead of twisting my words. It doesn't bode well for any of your arguments if you won't bother to find things I've actually said to debate.
(I am very sorry for your loss, though)
the showrunners are all so tg its insane
Yeah, I think Condal tried to disguise it a bit when season one first came out, but he's really just letting it all out now. What the fuck is he planning on doing that will make us "consider switching sides"?
I don't understand people who claim he and HoTD are biased towards TB. They made Rhaenyra be completely inactive politically outside of that one small council scene. They took Jace's interests and gave them to Aemond. They made Daemon kill Rhea, even though in the book he wasn't even in the country. They made Rhaenys and Corlys be completely unsupportive of Rhaenyra, when Rhaenys was her biggest support in the book. They removed Baela and Rhaena's personalities in favor of spending more time on the greens. They turned Laenor into an absent father who chose to abandon his children (biological or not, they were his sons).
Meanwhile, the greens get a majority of the screen time. Alicent is turned into a perpetual victim who refuses to help herself or her children, even though she's the second most powerful person in the realm. Aegon is made to be a "sympathetic" baby with daddy/mommy issues who rapes women because "he doesn't understand consent" (yes, Hess literally said this). Aemond is made to be a poor bullied baby who is actually just so right to be king, guys! Helaena is made into a dreamer yet still has no bearing on the plot other than "sad victim".
The plot itself suffers sooo much because Condal and Hess just had to make the greens into a bunch of poor innocent babies. The greens are the most cartoonishly evil Targaryens GRRM has ever written. But of course, if Condal and Hess are going to ignore the fact that Daemon is meant to be a gray character (GRRM said he's the grayest character in F&B), why wouldn't they ignore how completely shitty the greens are (with the exception of Helaena, who we know nothing about).

I think lucerys is rejecting driftmark not just because of his inabilities, which can be fixed anyway, but also because he watched his mother suffer again and again, he's thinks he will never be as strong as her to persevere like she did, but he was!
Can you imagine your mom gets hurt and stitched up trying to protect you, gets called a whpre for having you š he literally has no one to take these frustrations out on, so he rejects what causes these issues to his mother, he will be free but most importantly she will be
When it counted, he remembered why he was doing this, why he was facing his enemy, who mattered and the way rhaenyra found strenght throught her boys, he found the strenght through her

There are a lot of people claiming that people are hating Alicent because they "can't handle a complex female character". And I'd agree with them, if Alicent was a complex character.
Alicent is someone HOTD is obsessed with making sympathetic, part of that is that they altered her motivations massively. In F&B, Alicent is motivated by ambition and resentment for Rhaenyra. Through this lens, her actions make a lot of sense. She factionalized court by demanding Aegon be made heir, she suggested Aegon be betrothed to Rhaenyra she spread rumors about the Velaryon boys' legitimacy, she raised her sons to despise Rhaenyra and her family, she forced Helaena to marry Aegon at 13, etc. All theses actions were to put Aegon on the throne, no matter the cost to her other children, Rhaenyra's innocent sons, and the threat of war.
In the show, by removing Alicent's ambition and making her solely motivated by wanting to protect her children, Alicent comes off as a hypocrite and an idiot at best, delusional at worst. Her turn from wanting to go back to being Rhaenyra's best friend after marrying Viserys to declaring war on her at court is jarring to say the least. Alicent apparently decided to believe that Rhaenyra could execute her half-siblings with no evidence other than that she didn't tell Alicent about her sex life. That's not a complex decision, that's just stupidity.
Alicent spends the entire gap of the ten year time skip abusing and undermining Rhaenyra and raising her sons to believe that the Velaryons are beneath them. If she was truly concerned about her children's safety, making a massive wedge between Rhaenyra's family and her own (which only endangers them more by removing familial bonds) is the dumbest decision ever. To add to that, Alicent is constantly telling Aegon that he will be king, which is treason. If any servants hear her telling Aegon that or him talking about it to her or Aemond, he could be executed or exiled. How exactly is that protecting him? She also teaches her other children treason, by constantly repeating that Rhaenyra's sons are bastards. Again, if anyone overhears Aegon and Aemond saying this, they could be executed, exiled, or tortured, as we see in episode seven.
Alicent refuses to actually do anything about Aegon bullying his siblings, only warns him to do it in private. Again I ask, how is that protecting her children? She refuses a marriage alliance that would raise the probability of, at the very least, Helaena's survival. I understand concerns over Helaena being like a captive, but again, this concern stems from Alicent's own doing. Rhaenyra has given her no actual reason to believe she'd commit the worst taboo in Westeros, but Alicent has driven a massive wedge between their families and has declared the political war she's so concerned about. Again: Alicent is the cause of the danger posed to her children.
Instead of agreeing to Rhaenyra's offer or betrothing Helaena to literally anyone else, she forces Helaena to marry Aegon when they are still children. This decision is completely hypocritical. Alicent expresses disgust by the Targaryen marriage customs back in episode five, now in episode seven, she is forcing her children to marry each other in order to strengthen Aegon's claim. Aegon despises Helaena and already has an alcohol problem by the time of the wedding, how is that a safe environment for Helaena? The show also made Alicent a child bride, which makes her decision even more confusing. Alicent went through the same struggles she's forcing on Helaena, yet she still forced them to marry so young, thus putting Helaena into the same misery she felt at the beginning of the show.
Changing Alicent's motivation to try and make her seem more "noble" makes her into a hypothetical idiot. Had the show kept in her ambition, she would be a complex antagonist. A woman who plays the system for her betterment and even pushes aside her children's well-being for it is an interesting character, much like Cersei. However, unlike Cersei, Alicent has a lot of control at court and over the king, making her an even more interesting rival to Rhaenyra. But in the show, Alicent is someone who refuses to better her life, despite having more than enough power to do so, and sacrifices everything she cares about in the name of those very same things. People pointing out and complaining about the inconsistencies and hypocrisy of Alicent is not them being "unable to handle a complex female character". It's them being rightfully irritated by a hypocrite who the narrative is constantly pushing as the ultimate victim.
