Sylvix Headcanons/AUs #1
Sylvix Headcanons/AUs #1
Modern AU where Felix has a part time job at an amusement park where he plays a pirate for a pirate themed ride. He doesn’t want to deal with his friends teasing him, so he keeps it a secret. One day Sylvain is babysitting a kid and takes them out to the amusement park, and sees Felix at his job. Cue an embarrassed Felix desperately trying to pretend he doesn’t know Sylvain while Sylvain just messes with him (out of love of course.)

Felix: Sylvain, can you turn on the lights.
Sylvain: I don't need to, you're the light of my life.
Felix: Sylvain I can't see.
Sylvain Centered Song Recs
I’ve been making a Sylvix playlist lately and I realised I had a couple of Sylvain-centered songs so here are some of my recs.
1. What She Wants by A R I Z O N A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FPUqjV-tiBw
This song is about the heartbreak the singer feels after knowing that he was just a “passing character in her story.” Even though the subject of the song is referred to as female, the lyrics apply perfectly to Sylvain’s character. It is perfect as an outsider’s look into Sylvain’s tendency to quickly move on from lover to lover, while also mentioning some underlying insecurity involved in his actions.
“She just wants to be like the girls on the television 'Cause no one ever told her, it was okay to love herself”
“Cause she falls in love every night Don't even know your name but know it's right You'll know her in the crowd just by her eyes It's not her fault that she wants what she wants, yeah She falls in love every night And she don't even know what love is like She been dancing in the dark for all her life It's not her fault that she wants what she wants”
2. A Change of Heart by The 1975 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=trbwqF0d7NA
This song is about falling out of love with someone. I’d like to think Sylvain “falls in love” frequently, only to realise later that that person doesn’t make him feel whole like he wants. I haven’t heard many songs that deal with falling out of love like this, where it isn’t all heartbreak and sorrow, but just a realisation that that person isn’t as magical as they made them out to be.
“Finding a girl who is equally pretty won't be hard I just had a change of heart”
“You used to have a face straight out of a magazine Now you just look like anyone I just had a change of heart”
3. TOOTIMETOOTIMETOOTIME by The 1975 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4fxPQUKfim4
Honestly, whenever I’m in a Sylvain mood I just play The 1975. I feel like so many of their songs apply well to Sylvain’s character/tendencies. As for Too Time, it’s just a simple song about an unfaithful relationship, and I see this as what people see Sylvain to be like on the outside; a person who cheats on his partner with a nonchalant attitude.
“I swear that I I only called her one time Maybe it was two times? I don't think it was three times It can't be more than four times I think we need to rewind You text that boy sometimes Must be more than three times I didn't mean to two-time, two-time you”
