If Midoriya Actually Did Have A Quirk This Entire Time, I'm Pretty Sure The Idea @animaatra Has Would

If Midoriya actually did have a quirk this entire time, I'm pretty sure the idea @animaatra has would be it. It lines up a lot with Midoriya's character as a whole.
First of all, it goes along Midoriya's nature. From what we've heard from Chikose, people are drawn to certain things depending of the nature with quirks. Toga's quirk requires her consuming the blood of others, causing her to have an interest in it.
Midoriya has some habit of analysing other's quirks. If he actually had a quirk this entire time, it had to be related with the quirks of others, based from how Midoriya is so drawn to analysing quirks. He also tends to bring out the best of others and inspire them.
There's the naming shenanigans too. Some names in BNHA are based off of their quirks. Like "Shouto" actually has the kanjis "Burn" and "Freeze" and "Bakugo" litterally means "Detonation".
"Izuku" has "出", meaning "Coming out", or "Emerging". Midoriya actually having a quirk that pulls out the potential of other quirks also lines up with this meaning of his name.
Also goes well with the theme of 'One For All', with Midoriya's true original quirk litterally being a quirk that can be used for all.
It's possible that due to him believing he was 'quirkless', he couldn't use his quirk to its full potential. (As I said eariler, I don't think it can work on itself). He only might've used it subcounsciously, like with Eri. And note that Eri was on his back at the time, meaning it porbably only works upon physical contact.
This quirk can be real broke or OP though when he discovers it. He could even use it on OFA and become a real planet buster lmao. Though, if this does happen, I do trust Horikoshi that he'll won't make it too overpowered. Like putting a time limit or having the same situation as Eri, like he can't actually control it. Maybe when he uses it on OFA, it doesn't have an effect of the Stockpile Quirk, only on the other quirk that originally came from AFO's brother, and he could pass on OFA without DNA ingestion.
We could be overthinking and Midoriya is actually quirkless. But it's not bad to think about the possibility. (This seems to add more parallels with Shigaraki considering his Decay quirk...)
So another dad for one idea, what if Deku does have a quirk? what if his quirk is a combination of all for one’s and Inko’s that he can pull quirks out?Â
Basically what if Deku seeing all the previous users of one for all is him pulling other powers out of the quirk? Him pulling more powers to himself without knowing it?
What if this was intentional (like a quirk marriage only Inko doesn’t know that she has no idea) all for one sought out a quirk like Inko’s because a combination of these quirks would get past the way one for all is passed down
Just a quick idea I had let me know what you think =)

Chapter 213
Deku: i just wish i had one small quirk,,,, maybe then i could finally be a hero..
All Might: seems fair here u go
Deku: :D
One For All: lol psych you actually have a TON of really powerful quirks!
Deku: wait–
One For All: good luck controlling them all!! :)
Deku: w ait fUck- no- no goback–!
It was just pointed out to me that the flash from the monster that we’re all speculating is corrupted Steven in the Steven Universe Future intro resembles the way the Diamonds’ corruption blast was represented from Earth.
So… what if not only is Steven corrupted, but in this volatile state he is able to corrupt others too, and given his hybrid biology, it could mean neither humans nor gems are safe.
I think a lot of people are forgetting one very crucial thing about All Might passing on One For All to Deku.
At the time All Might passed One For All to Deku, he "defeated" All For One, not knowing he's still alive. He only found out some time AFTER the USJ Incident, when Deku already has it.
If he knew All For One was still out there, there's a chance he wouldn't pass on OFA to Deku.
This is even proven by the fact he didn't tell David about OFA out of fear that he will get involved with AFO if he does, yet he lets Tsukauchi know, which happens to be AFTER the his first fight with AFO, at least shown in Vigilantes.
So he chose Deku not because of nolstalgia. If that were the case, he wouldn't have turned down Deku's question about being a hero without a quirk when they first met.
He chose Deku because of his heart and actions that forced All Might to act when he was hesitating. And All Might didn't worry too much about Deku being too weak or lacking experience because it didn't matter that much. All For One at the time was thought to be defeated at the time, so all he needed was someone who is good-hearted. Someone who can do the right thing.
And through the ten months of training with Deku pretty much everyday, there's no doubt that All Might would've ended up having some attachment to him.
I agree that the Overhaul arc is poorly done, but I'm curious - what are your thoughts on Nighteye? He's one of my favorite characters, mostly because he clearly cares so deeply about so much yet he's rewarded with pretty much nothing but suffering for it. I felt like his fate was handled...absolutely terribly by Horikoshi, with it being glossed over almost immediately after it happened rather than having the profound effect on Deku, Mirio, and All Might that it should have. (1/2)
I feel like part of the reason the Overhaul arc feels so hollow is because it seems like a means to an end in introducing some new characters - Mirio, Tamaki, Nejire, and Eri, primarily - but the arc ITSELF has very little effect on anyone or anything in it once the story moves on. There’s no lasting impact; it barely even gets referenced again. And again, Nighteye’s care and dedication go largely unrecognized and unrewarded. There’s almost nothing to feel good about in the arc. (2/3 lied again)
The longest time I spent away from staying current on the manga - when I couldn’t muster the will or desire to read - was during the Overhaul arc. I think it was poorly executed all around, that the most sympathetic characters in it were unilaterally punished for their best qualities, and that what should have been important was given the same post-arc treatment as filler fluff. What are your thoughts on the problems with the arc? And what do you think of Nighteye as a character, and his fate?
I have several problems with the arc, but the biggest one is that for such a long, Midoriya-centric arc, I feel like I’ve hardly learnt anything new about him, and that he hasn’t changed much.

As for my problems with the arc:
I had a theory that Midoriya sacrifices One For All to save everyone in the finale, but this?
If this happens, I'm gonna... ðŸ˜

I saw it. Chisaki succeeded in his escape and Midoriya lost his life. That’s the immutable future I saw. I did not see this future. Does that mean… it can be changed?
Welp, I'm gonna try out this liveblog thing for 7 Years From Now. I have played it before, but I'm not gonna put references to future events from the game, since people who see this may not know the game, sooo...
Also, I got internet, but it's slow at times and there may be delays in doing this, so yeah...
I downloaded this game out of boredom and wanted to download a fun game. I decided to find a story game and found 7 Years From Now and played it due to high ratings (4.7 at the time) and all the reviews.

I thought this was a game where you just talk to npcs and unravel the truth about what happened and stuff. The story already seems interesting here. Let's see if this is the case!
