Sneak-peak! Been Working On This 1:32 Scale (if I Remember Right) Utharaptor Sculpt The Past Few Weeks
Sneak-peak! Been working on this 1:32 scale (if i remember right) utharaptor sculpt the past few weeks when i've not been working or moving to my new flat. "Wings" need work, and then there's only the tail fan and texture details left to go! It's a very chunky bird this one! I decided to go with a half-lip on this one. #miniaturemaking #art #artist #paleoart #paleoartist #paleoarte #utahraptor #dromaeosaur #velociraptor #sculpture #sculpt #sculptor #artistsoninstagram #artistsofinstagram #jw #jp #jurassicpark #jurassicworld #cretaceous #dinosaur #dinosaurart #dinosaurartwork #supersculpey #supersculpeyfirm #wip #workinprogress https://www.instagram.com/p/BuED14Tlqy7/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=wyhxt6rffj4l

I think a bite to the neck would be better. As far as i know, ankylosaurus didn't have particularly much armor on the underside. So a bite to the throat would still break the upper teeth, but yeald more chance of a lethal puncture to anything inportant with a slightly lesser risk
How would a Tyrannosaurus rex kill an Ankylosaurus? I have heard about the old fashioned "Flip the Ankylosaur over on it's back and bite it's underbelly" method, but I imagine that with an animal as heavy as Ankylosaurus that would be pretty hard to pull off. Would a bone crushing bite to the skull be more plausible?

More on my PATREON & GUMROAD!
Late last year I wanted to start a series of short tutorials called Tip Jar, as a way of saying thanks to my fans and giving back to my patrons. This is the first of the series I have made, showing my technique on quickly filling in lineart so you can get to painting without coloring outside the lines faster.
Someday I hope to turn these into video tutorials when I have the income and the time, but for now I hope that I will be able to share useful tips in this infographic format.
