You internally sighed at the thought of moving out of my cozy one-bedroom apartment, but the bills were just too high. You stared at the beige colored walls as you ran your fingers through your hair, the soft sound of rainfall calming me to an extent, Sadly your thoughts were ruined by the sound of pounding on my door, you groaned as you sat up rubbing your eyes, you could hear soft thuds of your feet hitting the hardwood floor as you wandered over to the dark oakwood door before opening it only to be met with the face of your drenched best friend.

"Jungkook?" You asked as Jungkook lead himself into your small abode, "Sorry, Y/N I just needed some shelter from the rain," Jungkook spoke as he tugged his shoes off, the cold rainwater was dripping off of him. On a normal day, you would of happily let him in no questions asked, but today you were in a sour mood, your landlord just raised the apartment bill due to "maintenance problems" or something along the lines of that.

Deciding not to be rude for the sake of friendship you offered him some tea as you grabbed a towel, "It's raining pretty hard isn't it?" you said as you placed the cup of tea down and handed him the towel, "Yeah.." Jungkook spoke as he put the towel around his neck, normally things wouldn't have been as awkward as it was, but only a couple weeks ago you foolishly decided to declare your feeling for him only to be rejected, after that Jungkook started distancing himself from you, you couldn't blame him, it was your own fault for believing that you might actually have had a chance with someone like him.

Both of you sat there in excruciating silence until Jungkook spoke again in a hushed voice "I'm dating Mina now," He said as your eyes widened "W-What?" you asked, uncertain if you really wanted to hear the answer, Jungkook waited for a moment before repeating himself

"I'm dating Mina,"

Jungkook honestly wasn't sure how he expected you to react but he was surprised when you smiled and said "That's great! I'm happy for you two," Jungkook was relieved when he heard that but at the same time confused, before Jungkook could ponder on the thought any longer you spoke "It looks like the rain died down, You should hurry before it gets any worse," Jungkook nodded as he threw on his leather jacket that you oh so loved, before giving you a small "Thank you," And hurrying out, When you heard the door shut you completely broke down. You didn't know why, but you felt as if your heart was shattered into a million pieces and you wished for somebody to fix it, for somebody to hold you and say that everything would be alright.

The next day you woke up with a pounding headache and bloodshot eyes, you dreaded going to classes but you forced yourself to put on some decent looking clothes. When you stepped inside the lecture hall your eyes landed on Jungkook and Mina sitting in the front, holding hands and all. You tore your eyes away from the sight as you dragged your feet to the far back corner hoping that you could sleep without your professor knowing.

The classes were a drag as usual and right after your last class, you hurried on home to catch a nice nap before your usual shift at the cafe, snuggling yourself into the warm covers you fell into a deep sleep.

You were woken up by the sound of your alarm telling you that you needed to head off to work, shoving on your shoes you walked over to the small cafe that you worked at, tugging on your uniform you hoped that today would be an easy day, Sadly your prayers weren't answered as all the customers seemed extremely picky today, having sent back five drinks. You sighed as you stared at the clock hoping that it would just hit the number 12 so you could leave. Thankfully this time you lucked out as your coworker came in an hour early.

When you arrived back at your apartment you were met with the sight of a naked man standing in your hallway,

You asked panicked as the man rolled his eyes "It's on your name tag" He spoke, as you calmed a little bit, He started to take multiple steps toward you as you backed away before hitting the door with a soft thud, The man had you cornered as he took a deep breath inhaling your scent before sticking his head in the crook of your neck inhaling deeply, You gasped at the sudden contact but you were frozen in place, "Mate," He whined deeply before you pushed him away to which he grumbled, "W-Who are you?" you asked as you stared into his soft brown eyes that seemed to hold the entire universe, "My name is Taehyung" He spoke calmly, his eyes raking over you as if you were his prey, "Why a-are you here?" You asked, your eyes falling to his naked body before blushing red like a tomato and looking away, Taehyung smirked at your reaction before speaking "You called for me Y/N," He said, his statement confusing you, "What?" You asked him as he let out a huff at your confusion, "Last night, you called for me to come." He said, "B-But I never called you," You spoke, "I could smell you," He growled before continuing "I could smell your need for me, little mate," He snarled, you were confused at all the information that was hitting you, There was an extremely handsome guy who was standing naked in your hallway, He had a tail and an extra pair of ears, and to top it all off he claimed that you were his mate or something, You were not sure what to do, half of you wanted to call the police and the other half wanted something else, something you couldn't put your finger on.

Then you figured it out, you wanted him. Even if you had just met him you trusted him with your whole life, it felt like you had known him forever. As if he could sense your arousal brewing up he stepped towards you again before placing his lips onto yours, your eyes went wide at the sudden action, but nonetheless, you wanted more.

I rolled my eyes “Isn’t it obvious?” I say as he tilts his head in dismay I sigh “You’re like drop-dead handsome if I’ve ever laid eyes on somebody as handsome as you before I definitely would have remembered that beautiful face that you were blessed with” I stated bluntly, I heard silence so I turned my head to face him and I was meet with a red face Jeongguk, I smirked, “Aww, Is somebody a little shy after getting compliments?” “S-Shut up,” He says lightly smacking my shoulder as I grin

After that tiresome class, I did NOT want to go to my next class, first of all, it was gym which I hate daily, and second of all Mia and her new wannabe friends who might I add are rude as hell. After about 30 minutes of walking, we end up on the top of a grassy hill with a view of the whole city “Damn! I feel like my legs are going to fall off” I say groaning as I plop down onto the ground laying down as I close my eyes enjoying the cold breeze I hear shuffling next to me and I assume Jeongguk is next to me then I heard a click! I open my eyes right away as I saw Jeongguk taking photos of me with his polaroid “What the hell!” I say trying to grab the polaroid from his hands as he laughs, His laugh was bright, I sighed as I sat back down knowing that I wouldn’t be able to grab the polaroid from him.

“So tell me about yourself Guk,” I say closing my eyes again “Hmm, I like banana milk” I gag “No way, chocolate milk is WAY better,” I say “You just say that because you’re narrow-minded Darling” I could hear the cockiness from his voice as I shot up “You’re dead,” I said tackling him as we both laughed, somehow it ended up into a very awkward position for me as I was straddling him as he was laying down as my hands were on his chest. “Making moves already Darling?” He says smirking as my face felt like it was on fire I jumped off of him as I covered my face with my hands as he laughing, I wasn’t sure why but it felt like I’ve known him my whole life but I could have sworn that I only met him today, after talking for what seemed like hours I checked the time it was about eight so we decided to part ways for the day after we exchanged numbers of course

I gazed blankly at the two men standing in front of me. My face painted a deep frown.

"Well hope you have a great rest of your day Miss L/N," The man in the suit said before bowing and leaving,

I softly shut the door before sliding down burying my face in my hands my breathing getting unstable,

Fuck, fuck, fuck I thought the words the man said repeating in my head like a mantra,

Much to my despair, they both seemed to notice that something was off about me,

"Y/N who was that?" Jungkook asked his voice soft but firm,

"N-Nobody," I respond avoiding their piercing gazes,

They didn't seem convinced with my answer but they didn't push any further, seeing how nervous and fidgety I was being,

"You guys should go to eat breakfast..." I mumble lowly as I drag my feet to my bedroom to get ready for work,

I placed the clipboard the man gave me in my bag as I changed into my usual attire before grabbing my bag and stumbling out of my room.

"I'll be back later guys," I say putting on my shoes,

Just as I was about to leave I felt a hand grip my wrist,

"Ji-" I was surprised to see that Jungkook was the one who was holding onto me as he usually wasn't very comfortable with human contact,

"Oh, Jungkook?" I say confused at the bunny's actions,

"Please get home safe Y/N," Jungkook mumbled as his face was flushed a beet red as he avoided eye contact.

I felt my heart combust as a smile crept its way to my face,

"Of course," I said before shutting the door and locking it,

As I made my way to my car I felt more of a need to keep both of them more than ever.

I can't let them take Jimin I thought, stepping into my car I gripped the steering wheel tightly at the thought of those disgusting men taking away Jimin.

In the few weeks I've known them I got attached, My mother always told me "Never get attached, nobody knows what the future holds Y/N"  I never really understood what she meant by that until now that is,

I always wanted to be a strong person, like a superhero, I used to watch cartoons when I was young, and there was a character who always seemed to know the right answer to everything. Sadly I'm just me, I'm just the person who can't even properly take care of herself let alone two hybrids, I let down a lot of people, myself being one of them.

Never in my whole life have I ever been as disappointed in me as I am now, I promised Jimin and Jungkook a home and I can't even provide that,

I pushed back the tears that threatened to leave my eyes as I arrived at the big building I called work,

I hung my head low as I entered the building, stalking over to my desk I placed my bag onto my desk and let out a huge sigh,

Seokjin who seemed more cheery than usual turned his head towards me, 

"Don't hang your head Y/N, your crown might fall off," He said giving me a wink as he spun around in his leather chair,

I cringed slightly at his comment but nonetheless it made my day a bit better,

"What's wrong Y/N?" Seokjin asked me concern laced with his voice as he sipped his latte,

In all the years I've known Seokjin, He always seemed to know when something I was down,

"I-Fuck" I said as the tears started to fall,

Seokjin's eyes went wide as he stood up almost immediately engulfing me in his arms as I silently sobbed into his arms,

He lead me outside the office as he looked at me worried,

"I-I-" I couldn't speak as months of stress came hurling down on me,

"Shh it's okay Y/N," Seokjin said stroking my hair as I tried to calm down,

When my cries finally died down to small sniffles I spoke meekly,

"Their taking Jimin," I said quietly as Seokjin's eyes went wide,

"What? Who is taking Jimin?" Seokjin questioned as he sat me down on one of the loveseats the company has in the breakroom,

"The shelter," I mumbled softly wiping the remaining tears off my face,

"Why would they do that?" Seokjin responds sitting down next to me,

I finally calmed down fully taking deep breaths as I spoke,

"Remember Calvin?" I asked as he nodded,

"The pervert furniture guy?" He exclaims as I nod.

"Apparently he contacted the shelter and said that Jimin assaulted him, so they expect me to return him in a week or they'll take him," I said sulking down in my seat,

Seokjin processed what you said before he spoke,

"I had that happen once," He says and now it was my turn to get surprised,

"Really?" I ask and he nods,

"Yoongi scratched this lady in the supermarket and a couple days later she was at my front door with a man in the suit claiming that I had to return him in a week or less," He said and I nodded listening carefully.

"How did you get them to not take Yoongi?" I asked a little puzzled,

"Well, I convinced the lady to take back the complaint," Seokjin responded as I groaned,

"How the hell am I supposed to get Calvin to take back his complaint?" I ask rubbing the bridge of my nose in distress,

"Well..." Seokjin stops himself from continuing,

"What?" I demand sitting up,

"Didn't Calvin want to go on a date with you?" Seokjin says, as soon as he sees the look on your face he instantly regrets his choice,

My face turned sour instantly at the thought of going anywhere with that shameful excuse of a human being,

"A-Are you serious right now Seokjin?" I asked him as he nods,

"Think about it Y/N, If you're able to convince him to take back the complaint you get to keep Jimin, and from what I've heard going on a date with him seems to be the only reason he would comply," Seokjin says as you let out a sound of disgust,

You hated it, You really did, the thought of going on a date with Calvin had your insides churn and not in a good way, but no matter how much you hated the thought you knew it was the only way for him to take back the complaint, and no matter how much you hated him your love for Jimin outweighed your hate,

I sighed as I knew that this was the only answer, I took my phone out and went to the Happy Homes furniture site and clicked on a tab that said, workers,

I grimaced as I scrolled through stopping on the familiar sickening face.

Seokjin leaned over my shoulder as he watched my every move,

I scrolled down a bit further and found his email and phone number in bold,

I memorized the number before going tapping it in on my phone,

"Are you sure you want to do this?" Seokjin asked concerned as I nodded before hitting the call button

It rang, exactly six times before I heard the familiar hoarse voice answer,

"Hello?"

Just when I thought I would get a break, this Calvin guy comes in and messes everything up, time to put my acting skills to the test

“I’m sorry for how they are acting” I said putting on a fake smile

“I just got them so they are a little on edge right now” I let out a fake laugh as Jimin and Jungkook’s faces were pure shock

Calvin scoffed “Hmph, well you’re lucky i’m such a nice guy” 

I was two seconds away from smacking that smirk off his stupid flat face. But the other guy that came with him finished putting the furniture in Jungkook’s room and said that they were leaving

“Well, have a great rest of your day!” I said slamming the door as they stepped outside

I let out a huge sigh 

“What a fucking day” 

I plopped on the couch as Jimin and Jungkook stared at me with huge eyes I wasn’t very sure if they were mad at me or not because they just stood there

“I’m sorry guys..” I said rubbing my forehead

“I-If I knew that was going to happen I wouldn’t of even ordered from that stupid furniture place.”

Jimin seemed to be happy with that because he ran over to me and gave me a great big hug as he rubbed his face on my neck

Jungkook scoffed as he left the living room I heard him mutter something under his breath but all I could make out was “stupid......girl”

I sighed 

“Oh wait, I was supposed to go to the mall with you guys today!” I said looking over at the clock

4 o’clock it’s still early!

“Really?” Jimin said I could barely make it out though because his face was in my neck

“Mhm” I say getting up as Jimin moves away a little disappointed that he couldn’t cuddle with you more but he didn’t really mind

Jungkook emerged from his room ready to go

I smiled a little bit as I unlocked the door and made my way to my car as Jungkook and Jimin followed close behind me

When I arrived at the hybrid mall Jimin was radiating off his excitement

Geez, I wish I was this excited every time I went shopping  

As we entered the mall I was surprised at how crowded it was today 

“Stay close to me I don’t want you to get lost” I say and they both nod

We walked around some stores a bit as Jimin and Jungkook picked out some things

Gosh it’s been forever since i’ve been here I thought as I suddenly remembered that last time I came here there was this amazing candy shop

“Wait guys, there's this great shop that I want to show you” I said as theirs faces were painted with curiosity

I lead the way as I remember and I couldn’t hide my smile thinking of all the yummy candies and treats

When I went into store that was supposed to be filled with yummy candies and treats I was met with something different

“Y/N? I didn’t know you were into this stuff” Jimin says smirking

My face flushed a bright pink as I stared in the store in front of me

Instead of candys there was toys for hybrids and humans, and not the innocent kind

“Y/N...So this is your favorite store” Jimin said in a teasing tone

“NO!” I basically screamed pulling them out of the store as I sat down onto a bench putting my face in my hands

God damn it now they think i’m some sort of sex freak! I thought as I heard Jimin laughing

I peeked through my hands as I saw Jimin bellowing with laughter I glanced over at Jungkook who had a light blush on his face 

“T-This was a misunderstanding!” I say to them as Jimin continues laughing as I groan loudly

“Is that what you also like to do Y/N?” Jimin says smacking his thigh

“SHUT UP!” I say as Jungkook starts laughing 

I swear these two are going to be the death of me
