You internally sighed at the thought of moving out of my cozy one-bedroom apartment, but the bills were just too high. You stared at the beige colored walls as you ran your fingers through your hair, the soft sound of rainfall calming me to an extent, Sadly your thoughts were ruined by the sound of pounding on my door, you groaned as you sat up rubbing your eyes, you could hear soft thuds of your feet hitting the hardwood floor as you wandered over to the dark oakwood door before opening it only to be met with the face of your drenched best friend.

"Jungkook?" You asked as Jungkook lead himself into your small abode, "Sorry, Y/N I just needed some shelter from the rain," Jungkook spoke as he tugged his shoes off, the cold rainwater was dripping off of him. On a normal day, you would of happily let him in no questions asked, but today you were in a sour mood, your landlord just raised the apartment bill due to "maintenance problems" or something along the lines of that.

Deciding not to be rude for the sake of friendship you offered him some tea as you grabbed a towel, "It's raining pretty hard isn't it?" you said as you placed the cup of tea down and handed him the towel, "Yeah.." Jungkook spoke as he put the towel around his neck, normally things wouldn't have been as awkward as it was, but only a couple weeks ago you foolishly decided to declare your feeling for him only to be rejected, after that Jungkook started distancing himself from you, you couldn't blame him, it was your own fault for believing that you might actually have had a chance with someone like him.

Both of you sat there in excruciating silence until Jungkook spoke again in a hushed voice "I'm dating Mina now," He said as your eyes widened "W-What?" you asked, uncertain if you really wanted to hear the answer, Jungkook waited for a moment before repeating himself

"I'm dating Mina,"

Jungkook honestly wasn't sure how he expected you to react but he was surprised when you smiled and said "That's great! I'm happy for you two," Jungkook was relieved when he heard that but at the same time confused, before Jungkook could ponder on the thought any longer you spoke "It looks like the rain died down, You should hurry before it gets any worse," Jungkook nodded as he threw on his leather jacket that you oh so loved, before giving you a small "Thank you," And hurrying out, When you heard the door shut you completely broke down. You didn't know why, but you felt as if your heart was shattered into a million pieces and you wished for somebody to fix it, for somebody to hold you and say that everything would be alright.

The next day you woke up with a pounding headache and bloodshot eyes, you dreaded going to classes but you forced yourself to put on some decent looking clothes. When you stepped inside the lecture hall your eyes landed on Jungkook and Mina sitting in the front, holding hands and all. You tore your eyes away from the sight as you dragged your feet to the far back corner hoping that you could sleep without your professor knowing.

The classes were a drag as usual and right after your last class, you hurried on home to catch a nice nap before your usual shift at the cafe, snuggling yourself into the warm covers you fell into a deep sleep.

You were woken up by the sound of your alarm telling you that you needed to head off to work, shoving on your shoes you walked over to the small cafe that you worked at, tugging on your uniform you hoped that today would be an easy day, Sadly your prayers weren't answered as all the customers seemed extremely picky today, having sent back five drinks. You asked panicked as the man rolled his eyes "It's on your name tag" He spoke, as you calmed a little bit, He started to take multiple steps toward you as you backed away before hitting the door with a soft thud, The man had you cornered as he took a deep breath inhaling your scent before sticking his head in the crook of your neck inhaling deeply, You gasped at the sudden contact but you were frozen in place, "Mate," He whined deeply before you pushed him away to which he grumbled, "W-Who are you?" you asked as you stared into his soft brown eyes that seemed to hold the entire universe, "My name is Taehyung" He spoke calmly, his eyes raking over you as if you were his prey, "Why a-are you here?" You asked, your eyes falling to his naked body before blushing red like a tomato and looking away, Taehyung smirked at your reaction before speaking "You called for me Y/N," He said, his statement confusing you, "What?" You asked him as he let out a huff at your confusion, "Last night, you called for me to come." He said, "B-But I never called you," You spoke, "I could smell you," He growled before continuing "I could smell your need for me, little mate," He snarled, you were confused at all the information that was hitting you, There was an extremely handsome guy who was standing naked in your hallway, He had a tail and an extra pair of ears, and to top it all off he claimed that you were his mate or something, You were not sure what to do, half of you wanted to call the police and the other half wanted something else, something you couldn't put your finger on.

Then you figured it out, you wanted him. Even if you had just met him you trusted him with your whole life, it felt like you had known him forever. After we both decided to split the check, as we stepped out of the restaurant I glanced at my watch 8:58 PM it read,

I felt a little dizzy as my vision started to get blurry, my breathing started to get labored as I felt Calvin grab me and pin me to his car,

"Gosh, you're such a gullible idiot," He whispered in my ear, I started to panic, trying to push him away but I felt too weak,

My eyelids felt heavy as Calvin spoke again "Do you think I'm an idiot? I know you only went on this date because of that stupid cat," He growled in my ear,

My breathing was heavy I felt like passing out, my limbs felt heavy as my eyelids struggled to stay open,

Summary: Your family is very poor and your mom is sick, so you steal medicine from a nearby pharmacy. Only the pharmacy is owned by the Bangtan Mafia, and they're looking to strike a deal. You'll do anything to get your mother that medication..... Anything.

It's a cold, gloomy day and your mom only seems to be getting worse. Bedridden and dabbled in beads of sweat, you wipe her forehead with a damp cloth, hoping to give her some sort of ease. You can't wait for the supplies your uncle promised you any longer, you've got to do something now. It was just the two of you, you didn't know, nor did you care at this point where your father had gone. More than likely had gotten caught up in that dreadful Bangtan Mafia that ran your side of town.

You never understood why they were so… What's the word you were looking for?-- Ah, respected! They were a gang of boys that ran around doing whatever they wanted. Granted, some would catch them helping the elderly or the poor, but the more common acts were those of vandalism and taking whoever they wanted. You even had some friends that had been taken by them. You make your way down the street to the nearest pharmacy which had already closed for the day. Luckily, before your dad left, you'd been studying to be a nurse, so you know what your mom needed. The cold mist of the evening hitting your face as you approach the back door to the pharmacy, and you drew in a deep breath before opening the door, hoping to calm your nerves. Why the door was unlocked you didn't know, quite frankly you didn't care either, it only made things easier for you. You made your way back to the medical supplies and medications, finding what you came for and stuffing as much as you could into your little bag. 

You mission being complete, you quickly turn to rush back toward the door. Little did you know of the tall figure that towered over you, arms crossed and eyes glaring down at you, almost daring you to make a move. The two of you locked eyes, and you couldn't help but start shaking.

"I think I've found us a little midnight snack, guys," Jungkook, the man standing over you responds.

I gazed blankly at the two men standing in front of me. My face painted a deep frown.

"Well hope you have a great rest of your day Miss L/N," The man in the suit said before bowing and leaving,

I placed the clipboard the man gave me in my bag as I changed into my usual attire before grabbing my bag and stumbling out of my room.

"I'll be back later guys," I say putting on my shoes,

Just as I was about to leave I felt a hand grip my wrist,

"Ji-" I was surprised to see that Jungkook was the one who was holding onto me as he usually wasn't very comfortable with human contact,

"Oh, Jungkook?" I say confused at the bunny's actions,

I felt my heart combust as a smile crept its way to my face,

"Of course," I said before shutting the door and locking it,

As I made my way to my car I felt more of a need to keep both of them more than ever.

I can't let them take Jimin I thought, stepping into my car I gripped the steering wheel tightly at the thought of those disgusting men taking away Jimin.

In the few weeks I've known them I got attached, My mother always told me "Never get attached, nobody knows what the future holds Y/N"  I never really understood what she meant by that until now that is,

I always wanted to be a strong person, like a superhero, I used to watch cartoons when I was young, and there was a character who always seemed to know the right answer to everything. Sadly I'm just me, I'm just the person who can't even properly take care of herself let alone two hybrids, I let down a lot of people, myself being one of them.

Never in my whole life have I ever been as disappointed in me as I am now, I promised Jimin and Jungkook a home and I can't even provide that,

I pushed back the tears that threatened to leave my eyes as I arrived at the big building I called work,

I hung my head low as I entered the building, stalking over to my desk I placed my bag onto my desk and let out a huge sigh,

Seokjin who seemed more cheery than usual turned his head towards me, 

"Don't hang your head Y/N, your crown might fall off," He said giving me a wink as he spun around in his leather chair,

I cringed slightly at his comment but nonetheless it made my day a bit better,

"What's wrong Y/N?" Seokjin asked me concern laced with his voice as he sipped his latte,

In all the years I've known Seokjin, He always seemed to know when something I was down,

"I-Fuck" I said as the tears started to fall,

He lead me outside the office as he looked at me worried,

"Why would they do that?" Seokjin responds sitting down next to me,

I finally calmed down fully taking deep breaths as I spoke,

"Remember Calvin?" I asked as he nodded,

"The pervert furniture guy?" He exclaims as I nod.

"Apparently he contacted the shelter and said that Jimin assaulted him, so they expect me to return him in a week or they'll take him," I said sulking down in my seat,

Seokjin processed what you said before he spoke,

"I had that happen once," He says and now it was my turn to get surprised,

"Really?" I ask and he nods,

"Yoongi scratched this lady in the supermarket and a couple days later she was at my front door with a man in the suit claiming that I had to return him in a week or less," He said and I nodded listening carefully.

"How did you get them to not take Yoongi?" I asked a little puzzled,

"Well, I convinced the lady to take back the complaint," Seokjin responded as I groaned,

"How the hell am I supposed to get Calvin to take back his complaint?" I ask rubbing the bridge of my nose in distress,

"Well..." Seokjin stops himself from continuing,

"What?" I demand sitting up,

"Didn't Calvin want to go on a date with you?" Seokjin says, as soon as he sees the look on your face he instantly regrets his choice,

My face turned sour instantly at the thought of going anywhere with that shameful excuse of a human being,

"A-Are you serious right now Seokjin?" I asked him as he nods,

"Think about it Y/N, If you're able to convince him to take back the complaint you get to keep Jimin, and from what I've heard going on a date with him seems to be the only reason he would comply," Seokjin says as you let out a sound of disgust,

You hated it, You really did, the thought of going on a date with Calvin had your insides churn and not in a good way, but no matter how much you hated the thought you knew it was the only way for him to take back the complaint, and no matter how much you hated him your love for Jimin outweighed your hate,

I sighed as I knew that this was the only answer, I took my phone out and went to the Happy Homes furniture site and clicked on a tab that said, workers,

I grimaced as I scrolled through stopping on the familiar sickening face.

Seokjin leaned over my shoulder as he watched my every move,

I scrolled down a bit further and found his email and phone number in bold,

I memorized the number before going tapping it in on my phone,

"Are you sure you want to do this?" Seokjin asked concerned as I nodded before hitting the call button

It rang, exactly six times before I heard the familiar hoarse voice answer,

"Hello?"

These past few days have been an absolute mess. Taehyung has been looking over my shoulder and correcting every mistake. I don't want to seem unappreciative or anything, but it's been getting on my nerves. I can't say anything because he's my boss, I can't risk getting fired, especially since he gave me that free pass after missing four days in a month.

"Y/N, do you want to grab a drink or something?" My co-worker Seokjin asks as I step outside the building 

"Eh, I'm not sure Jin, I don't want to leave Jungkook and Jimin alone for too long," I say as he sighs 

"It's fine, Y/N," Seokjin says as he steps inside his car, "See you tomorrow!" He says, with a bright smile I wave goodbye to him as he drives out of the parking lot

Recently, Jimin has been teasing the hell out of me. Since that shameful incident that happened at the mall. I'm honestly not sure if I can survive any more of his constant teasing.

I sigh as I unlock the door to my apartment to see Jimin sitting on the couch watching some cheesy romance movie, I assumed that Jungkook was sitting in his room doing whatever.

Jimin's head shot up right away as he heard the door open.

"Y/N! You're home!" He says running up to hug me

I guess, in the end, it was all worth it, acknowledging that I now have two adorable hybrids living with me now.

"Mhm, Do you know what Jungkook is doing?" I ask, carding my hands through his fluffy ears as he purrs loudly, fluttering my whole body as his tail wraps around me.

"I think he's sleeping right now," He mumbles, stroking his head on my neck as he usually does. At first, I thought that it was pretty odd of him. When I asked Seokjin, he said that he was scenting me or something like that.

"Oh," Is all I say as he wraps his arms tighter around me.

I finally manage to squeeze myself out as I take my shoes off and take off my coat as I make my way to my room to change into something more comfortable.

I didn't notice the body that laid on my bed curled into the sheets with my fuzzy blankets draped around them.

I started to take off that annoying tight pencil skirt as I let out a sigh of relief as I put on some gray shorts.

I was in the middle of pulling my shirt over my head as I heard shuffling in the direction of my bed as I halted my movement. I couldn't see anything as my top was blocking my view.

Holy shit, somebody is sleeping on my bed. I panicked, not knowing who the hell was there.

I was going to make a run out of my room not considering the shirt that was currently blocking my whole view

"Shit!" I yelled out as I walked on my dreaded pencil skirt and slipped, hitting the wood floor with a loud bang.

I heard a pair of feet shuffling to my room.

"Y/N? Are you okay?" Jimin asked swinging the door open

I felt his eyes burning holes into my body as my face blushed a crimson color.

"C-Can you please help me get this off" I mumbled barely over a whisper.

I wanted to jump into a hole and never come out as Jimin helped pull me up before taking my shirt off as I only had on a bra with a pair of shorts.

I felt tiny as I watched Jimin's eyes rake over my body as he licked his lips that were suddenly very dry

After what seemed like forever, I shoved Jimin out of the room as I let out a shaky breath before putting on my sailor moon t-shirt.

I heard soft snores as I turned my head so fast I swore my neck might of broke.

I grabbed whatever was closest to me, which was a very creepy stone lamb. I always wanted to get rid of but never could since it was a gift from Seokjin.

I slowly walked over to my bed on my tiptoes, careful not to make a sound to wake up whoever was currently on my bed.

I gently pulled the blanket off the soft sleeping body as I saw a messy-haired Jungkook, with his floppy brown and white ears that twitched every so often.

I let out a breath that I didn't even know I was holding as I set down the stone lamb onto my nightstand before sneaking out of the room, not wanting to wake him up from his peaceful slumber.

He looks quite sweet when he is sleeping, complete 180 from his usual demeanor.

I made my way to the kitchen as I saw Jimin just sitting there as his bright yellow eyes followed my every move. 

I opened my phone and took a seat on the tiny island across from Jimin. I mindlessly scrolled through my phone as I felt Jimin's eyes trained on me like I was his prey.

"Sorry, you had to see that," I said as Jimin didn't respond.

I was about to speak, but Jimin straight up left the kitchen as I heard his door shut gently.

I sighed as I just decided to sleep it off.

I was about to plop onto my bed, but I remembered that Jungkook was sleeping there.

I groaned before grabbing my pillow with a blanket and making my way to the couch. Last time I woke up Jungkook, it was not pretty. It surprised me when I heard foul words come out of his mouth. I would rather not encounter that again for the rest of my life.

When I woke up, Jimin was his usual cheery self as I made breakfast.

"Can you get Jungkook?" I ask as Jimin nods before stalking off to the hallway

I placed both of their plates on the table as I heard a knock from the door.

Who is here this early? I wondered as I washed my hands before making my way to the door when I opened it, I saw a familiar flat annoying ugly face, but this time he was with a man in a suit.

"Calvin?" I asked my eyes going wide as I saw the disgusting smirk that was on his face.

"Miss L/N," The man next to Calvin said as my mouth formed a tiny frown.

"That's me," I said crossing my arms

"I was informed that one of your hybrids attacked Mr. Brown five days ago. Is this correct?" He asks as my eyes go wide

"Excuse me?" I ask confused

"Please answer the question Miss L/N," He says 

"Jimin was not attacking him. He barely laid a finger on him," I replied.

"We have a witness who saw your hybrid attacking Mr. Brown," The man replies, handing me a clipboard.

"What is this?" I ask my eyes scanning over the paper 

"Miss L/N, We expect you to return Jimin in a week or less if you don't we will have to take him by force." The man said

“What do you mean?!” I ask moving over to the couch as I saw her with the bracelet that went lost in her hands, I was in complete confusion

“Do you KNOW how long I was searching for this thing y/n?!” She demands, I was at a loss for words “I-I don’t know how that got there Mia..” I say my voice quivering

The Next Day

I felt worthless as I dragged my feet through campus, my hair a little untidy, dark bags under my red eyes, I could sense the eyes on me as I made my way over to my first class of the miserable day, I tried to text Mia yesterday but all she responded with was a “Don’t text me anymore you filthy lying bitch” And after that she blocked me

I let out a huge sigh as I sat down in the far back, I heard a soft “hello” as I tilted my head to see who decided to talk to the criminal of the class

I rolled my eyes “Isn’t it obvious?” I say as he tilts his head in dismay I sigh “You’re like drop-dead handsome if I’ve ever laid eyes on somebody as handsome as you before I definitely would have remembered that beautiful face that you were blessed with” I stated bluntly, I heard silence so I turned my head to face him and I was meet with a red face Jeongguk, I smirked, “Aww, Is somebody a little shy after getting compliments?” “S-Shut up,” He says lightly smacking my shoulder as I grin

After that tiresome class, I did NOT want to go to my next class, first of all, it was gym which I hate daily, and second of all Mia and her new wannabe friends who might I add are rude as hell. Usually, I never would have done something like this but the chance of me giving a shit is lower than my IQ

I ran to catch up to Jeongguk who was at his locker grabbing something, looked like a polaroid camera and it gave me a glorious idea

“Hey Guk,” I said leaning against the locker he jumped a little at my voice “Yes, Darling?” He says as my face burns up quickly but I shake it off “What’s your next class?” I ask as he continues searching through his locker “Mmmm, History” “Do you like it?” I ask and he shakes his head “Nope the tea-” He doesn’t get to continue as I cut him off “GREAT!” I say grabbing his wrist to prevent him from looking at his locker and dragging him away making sure that he has his polaroid camera “U-um y/n?” He asks as I sneak to the back of the school making sure that no teachers see us “Yes Guk?” I ask “Where are we going?” He whispers “Ditching class,” I say as he gasps “What? Why?” I sigh “Jeongguk, if you don’t want to continue you don’t have to,” I say with a warm smile as I open a window “N-no I want to come with you,” He says and I smile “Great,” I say “What are you planning to do anyway? Look outside a window?” He says teasing as I roll my eyes leaning over the edge of the window to make sure that the bush was still there “Geez! Be careful!” He says as I smirk “You’re worried about me Guk?” I say sticking my tongue out teasingly as he blushes. Before he can respond I jump out of the window as I descend onto the bushes “Aw! Shit, When did these grow thorns?” I say groaning “Holy! Shit y/n. Are you okay!” Jeongguk shouts from the window “Yeah! Come down” I say as he hesitates but then leaps off the window into the bushes. Damn, he even falls gracefully.

“You okay?” I ask helping him up “You’re crazy,” He says “Yeah but you’re just as crazy for following me” I say smirking as he lets out a scoff “So where are even going to go?” Jeongguk questions “Follow me,” I say grinning as I walk off of school grounds onto the sidewalk “I hope you don’t lead me to my death y/n,” He says sarcasm evident in his voice “Shush,” I say

After about 30 minutes of walking, we end up on the top of a grassy hill with a view of the whole city “Damn! I feel like my legs are going to fall off” I say groaning as I plop down onto the ground laying down as I close my eyes enjoying the cold breeze I hear shuffling next to me and I assume Jeongguk is next to me then I heard a click! I open my eyes right away as I saw Jeongguk taking photos of me with his polaroid “What the hell!” I say trying to grab the polaroid from his hands as he laughs, His laugh was bright, I sighed as I sat back down knowing that I wouldn’t be able to grab the polaroid from him.

“So tell me about yourself Guk,” I say closing my eyes again “Hmm, I like banana milk” I gag “No way, chocolate milk is WAY better,” I say “You just say that because you’re narrow-minded Darling” I could hear the cockiness from his voice as I shot up “You’re dead,” I said tackling him as we both laughed, somehow it ended up into a very awkward position for me as I was straddling him as he was laying down as my hands were on his chest. “Making moves already Darling?” He says smirking as my face felt like it was on fire I jumped off of him as I covered my face with my hands as he laughing, I wasn’t sure why but it felt like I’ve known him my whole life but I could have sworn that I only met him today, after talking for what seemed like hours I checked the time it was about eight so we decided to part ways for the day after we exchanged numbers of course

Just when I thought I would get a break, this Calvin guy comes in and messes everything up, time to put my acting skills to the test

I was two seconds away from smacking that smirk off his stupid flat face. But the other guy that came with him finished putting the furniture in Jungkook’s room and said that they were leaving

“Well, have a great rest of your day!” I said slamming the door as they stepped outside

I let out a huge sigh

I plopped on the couch as Jimin and Jungkook stared at me with huge eyes I wasn’t very sure if they were mad at me or not because they just stood there

“I’m sorry guys..” I said rubbing my forehead

“I-If I knew that was going to happen I wouldn’t of even ordered from that stupid furniture place.”

Jimin seemed to be happy with that because he ran over to me and gave me a great big hug as he rubbed his face on my neck

Jungkook scoffed as he left the living room I heard him mutter something under his breath but all I could make out was “stupid......girl”

I sighed 

“Oh wait, I was supposed to go to the mall with you guys today!” I said looking over at the clock

4 o’clock it’s still early!

“Really?” Jimin said I could barely make it out though because his face was in my neck

“Mhm” I say getting up as Jimin moves away a little disappointed that he couldn’t cuddle with you more but he didn’t really mind

Jungkook emerged from his room ready to go

I smiled a little bit as I unlocked the door and made my way to my car as Jungkook and Jimin followed close behind me

When I arrived at the hybrid mall Jimin was radiating off his excitement

Geez, I wish I was this excited every time I went shopping  

As we entered the mall I was surprised at how crowded it was today 

“Stay close to me I don’t want you to get lost” I say and they both nod

We walked around some stores a bit as Jimin and Jungkook picked out some things

Gosh it’s been forever since i’ve been here I thought as I suddenly remembered that last time I came here there was this amazing candy shop

“Wait guys, there's this great shop that I want to show you” I said as theirs faces were painted with curiosity

I lead the way as I remember and I couldn’t hide my smile thinking of all the yummy candies and treats

When I went into store that was supposed to be filled with yummy candies and treats I was met with something different

“Y/N? I didn’t know you were into this stuff” Jimin says smirking

My face flushed a bright pink as I stared in the store in front of me

Instead of candys there was toys for hybrids and humans, and not the innocent kind

“Y/N...So this is your favorite store” Jimin said in a teasing tone

“NO!” I basically screamed pulling them out of the store as I sat down onto a bench putting my face in my hands

God damn it now they think i’m some sort of sex freak! I thought as I heard Jimin laughing

I peeked through my hands as I saw Jimin bellowing with laughter I glanced over at Jungkook who had a light blush on his face 

“T-This was a misunderstanding!” I say to them as Jimin continues laughing as I groan loudly

“Is that what you also like to do Y/N?” Jimin says smacking his thigh

“SHUT UP!” I say as Jungkook starts laughing 

I swear these two are going to be the death of me

“What the fuck???!!” I was woken up by an angry Jungkook standing at the door way

I jolted up at the sound at Jungkook woah he is actually talking for once? I was about to get up but I felt a pair of arms trapping me in 

Jimin woke up also rubbing his eyes as he was met with a angry Jungkook

I stared over at the clock 8:45 AM shit! i’m going to be late! I bolted out of the bed not even glancing at Jungkook who was fuming and ran to the bathroom with my clothes in hand

“Why were you in that girls bed?!” Jungkook asked crossing his arms

“Why do you even care Jungkook?” Jimin asks sitting up

But before Jungkook could answer Jimin shot up and left remembering that you had work

“Pleeease don’t go Y/N” Jimin said as he grabbed my shoulder

“Sorry, Jimin I have to go” I spotted Jungkook in the hallway staring at us

“When I get back we can go to the mall and get you guys some things” I said directing it to Jungkook 

“Can’t you just miss one day???” Jimin says turning into a baby

I laugh dryly “I think my boss would kill me if I miss anymore days” 

Jimin pouts 

“Don’t worry i’ll be back soon, there's some leftovers in the fridge for you guys” I say as I open the door “Please don’t make the house a complete mess either” I say and I shut and lock the door

Good god, I hope I didn’t just make a huge mistake I thought as I made my way to my car when I arrived at work I was thirty minutes late Damn it  I thought semi-running to the building Stupid skirt I thought adjusting my pencil skirt

When I made it to my desk my coworker Kim Seokjin gave me a look 

“The boss asked to see you Y/N” He said sipping his coffee 

“What? When?” I asked putting my bag down

“Twenty minutes ago” He said chuckling “You’re so dead”

I shot up from my seat and made my way to my boss’s office I heard Seokjin laughing Asshole I thought as I knocked the door

“Come in Miss Y/N” I heard him say Oh shit i’m screwed

I walk into the office as I nervously take a seat

“This is the fourth time you’re late this month alone” He says staying dangerously calm

“I’m sorry it won’t happen again” I say twiddling with my thumbs 

He sighs as he rubs his forehead

“Y/N you say that every time but nothing seems to be changing”

Oh shit I can’t get fired I just adopted two hybrids!

“Is there anything I can-” 

“I will let you off with a warning this time, but if it happens again....You know what will happen” He says 

I nod and stand up bowing, when I leave his office I let out a breath I didn’t even know I was holding Thank god Taehyung is such a nice person I thought as I made my way back to my desk

“Did he fire you?” Was the first thing Seokjin asked me

“You don’t seem too worried” I say rolling my eyes

“I had a feeling that you wouldn’t get fired it seems like Mr. Kim has a thing for you” He says winking

I snort “Ha, yeah right” I say “Mr. Kim is like god, while i’m like a cockroach” 

“Well I guess you’re right about the cockroach part” Seokjin says as I smack his shoulder

“So, how are your hybrids can I meet them?” Seokjin asks

“I’m not sure Jin...I don’t know if they will be very welcoming” I say

“I’m sure it will be okay, plus I can bring Hoseok, Yoongi and Namjoon” Seokjin says excited 

I’m sure that Yoongi and Jimin will get along since they are both cats, but i’m not sure about Hoseok and Namjoon since they are both wolfs

“I don’t think so Jin, I don’t want them to get too comfortable on their first day” I say as Seokjin nods understanding me

“Sometime in the future then” He says smiling

I had ordered some furniture for Jungkook as I had an empty room in my apartment, I was surprised to get a call on my way home telling me that they would be at my home in twenty minutes

As I unlocked my door I was surprised to see the apartment still intact I was sure that it would have been a total wreck by now 

As I took my shoes off I saw Jimin and Jungkook playing on my xbox 

“Y/N! You’re home” Jimin says running up to me giving me a big hug

“Actually I wanted to tell you guys that so-”

The doorbell rang as both of the boys snapped their head towards the door

“Y/N who’s that?” Jimin asked

“I actually bought Jungkook a bed since I had an empty room” I say as I walk toward the door and open it 

“Hello! I’m Calvin from Happy Homes Furniture I gave you a call earlier?” I saw two men standing at my door 

“Ah yes i’m Y/N” I say extending my hand as the man shook it I could of sworn I heard Jungkook growl yet again but I ignored it 

 Calvin and the other man brought the bed in with some other furniture I bought for Jungkook’s room 

“So, are you single?” Calvin asks me both of the hybrids head shoot up from the couch to watch us

“U-um yes” I say laughing nervously 

“Seriously, you’re such a beautiful lady” He says smirking putting his hand on my waist

“U-Um I do-”

“If you want after i’m done we can-” He was cut off as Jimin sprung off of his seat and pushed him on the ground

I gasp as I turned around to see a messy haired Jimin rubbing his eyes “What did you say?” I ask confused

“I said, is it alright if I sleep next to you, Jungkook keeps kicking me”

I froze it’s been forever since i’ve been next to a guy.... but Jimin looks so gentle and kind so I can’t say no

I sighed as you made your way back to your bedroom with Jimin following  closely behind.

When Jimin entered your room he was surrounded by your sweet comforting  scent

“O-okay” I said as I started to build a pillow wall on your bed “This is your side” I say pointing to the opposite side of the bed “Don’t cross this pillow wall” I say as I plop down on my side of the bed

I look at the clock 12:30 AM I sigh my eyes start to flutter asleep as I feel the bed dip 

I was awaken by soft whimpers and sniffles I turn my head to look at the clock 2 AM I swear i’m not going to get any sleep tonight

I sit up and look at Jimin as he is whimpering and sniffling

At first I thought he was having a dirty dream or something but as soon as I saw tears that thought flew out of my mind

Shoot... Is he crying? I thought as I shifted slightly not knowing what to do

Then you thought about all those times where you were alone in your bed crying due to stress and it felt horrible 

I rubbed my eyes as I moved the pillow wall over and engulfed Jimin in my arms as he was wetting my shoulder with his tears

I rubbed his back with my hand as he started to calm down a bit this went on for a little bit until I got too tired and fell asleep

“What the fuck?!?!” 

I walk in to find my apartment completely trashed, broken dishes everywhere, and my books and papers scattered on the ground, it looked like a hurricane had just hit.

Just my luck I thought as I went inside my room to find my belongings everywhere and my bed a complete mess

I knew exactly why this had happened, it was because I had nothing to protect my apartment, it was actually quite common for people who didn’t own any hybrids to be robbed.

Hybrids... they were considered to be pets and if you didn’t have a owner and you were too old you were killed. I had actually been against owning a hybrid, mostly because I could barely take care of myself much less a hybrid. But this wasn’t the first time I was robbed, so I decided to put my foot down.

I had spent my weekend fixing up my home and on monday at work I decided to ask one of my coworkers about owning a hybrid

I worked at a pretty well known company so I wasn’t exactly broke to say the least, but I spent most of my free days either working at home or lazing away.

“You? L/N F/N, actually want to adopt a hybrid?!” My coworker Kim Seokjin said as he pretended to be super surprised 

“Yes?” I said rolling my eyes as he pretended to wipe a fake tear

“And I thought you would know about that stuff considering you own three hybrids” I say 

“Well, you’re right but, why are you all aboard the adopting hybrid train now? When I asked you about it before you totally blew me off” 

“I was robbed Jin” I said as he gasped

“Seriously?! Are you okay?” Seokjin asks concerned

“Yeah”  

“Oh, I see so you want to adopt a hybrid to protect you” Seokjin says

“Gee, I wonder where you got that conclusion from” I say sarcastically 

Seokjin rolls his eyes “Well there are shops where you can buy a hybrid like I did, but they are pretty expensive” He says “How expensive?” I ask

“The cheapest you can get one is about... 500,000″  I nearly choked on my iced tea “500,000 dollars?!” I say and Seokjin nods “But of course there are shelters that you can go to and I heard that they are a lot cheaper.” I nod and thank Seokjin.

On my way home I decide to go to the shelter 500,000? Are the hybrids made of gold or something? I grip the steering wheel as I pull into the parking lot for a shelter called Hope For Paws, it was a pretty old place as the color from the sign has faded, I consider going to the shop that Seokjin told me about but I mentally hit myself as I remember the price

I step inside the doors and instantly I am hit with a foul smell, I almost choked but I didn’t want to be rude, so I walked up to the lady at the counter 

“Do you have an appointment?” she asked not looking away from her computer 

“U-um I don’t” I say as she glanced at me

“Are you planning to adopt?” She asks and I nod

“Take a seat” She said and I sat down 

I looked around the room it was painted with a dark blue and there were pictures on the wall of happy people with hybrids

This might not be so bad.. I was broken from my train of thoughts when a lady told me to follow her 

“You’re planning to adopt?” She asked smiling brightly 

“Uh, Yes” I say quietly as she nods “Do you have any preferences?” She asks

“No” I say as she nods again opening the door to a room “Please take a seat” She said as I sit down, she leaves the room only to appear a couple minutes later with two hybrids with her

One of them was a cat hybrid with fluffy blond hair and a the other was a bunny hybrid with dark brown hair

“Y/N this is Jungkook” She says and she points at the bunny hybrid 

“And this is Jimin” She says pointing to the cat and she hands me a clipboard with all their information on it I skim over all of the information “I’ll leave you guys alone for a couple of minutes” The lady says as she leaves the room

The second she leaves the room the cat hybrid, Jimin runs up to me and hugs me rubbing his head on my neck

“Are you going to adopt us?” Jimin asks

I don’t say anything yet as Jimin drags the bunny hybrid Jungkook over to me “This is Jungkook, He’s a bit shy” Jimin says ruffling the other boys hair as Jungkook was sending me glares tf? he already doesn’t like me 

A couple minutes later the lady pulls me out of the room 

“Have you decided yet?” She asks as I nod

“I’ll adopt them” I say rubbing the back of my neck

“Awesome!” She says as I follow her back to the waiting room

“Just fill out these papers and i’ll bring them out in a few” She said disappearing behind the doors

I finish the papers as the lady comes out with Jimin and Jungkook, Jimin smiles brightly when he saw me and runs over to me 

“Are you our new owner?” Jimin asks smiling at me as I nod

We leave the shelter as the car ride home was silent

I unlock my apartment door and walk in as Jimin and Jungkook follow closely when they walk in they were blasted by your sweet scent 

"You guys might have to share a bed for now” I say shyly as the boys nod I show them their room. 

“U-um so tomorrow we can go to the mall to buy you guys things after work” I say to them

“Work?” Jimin asks and i nod

“I leave for work at nine and come back at three” I say to Jimin as I hear Jungkook growl since when did bunnies growl? 

“Well, you guys should go to bed” I say as I awkwardly leave

I plop down on my bed and sigh What a day I decided to take a nice warm shower and change into some loose shorts and a big t-shirt I layed down on my bed as my eyes fluttered shut

I woke up at about 12 AM as I smacked my lips together I need some water I dragged my feet to my fridge and I got a bottle of water when I turned around I saw Jimin 

“Can I sleep with you tonight? Jungkook keeps kicking me”
