If Mabel pissed you off then Dipper should too. Period. Neither are perfect characters or perfect siblings (and they shouldn't be). Mabel helped Mermando get back to his family, did it get in Dipper's way, yes. But ultimately, it was to help someone else even if she never got to see him again. Dipper was selfish, because he wanted more time with Wendy (who he was just as obsessed with as Mabel was for boys). Time Traveler's pig, DIPPER IS TRYING TO W I N A P E S O N Mabel literally just wants a pig. Dipper rubs all his wins in Mabel's face which is when she gets him back with making fun of him for being shorter. Literally just typical sibling behavior, even I know that and I'm an only child. Dipper is the entire reason Mabel cheats in the golf ball one, also Mabel is the first one to give Pacifica a chance and to forgive her. I could literally go on and on. Also, I'm so sorry a LITERAL CHILD is being a little bit selfish. Like, if you dislike a character, fine. But hold other characters to the same standards. :/

Your points are absolutely valid, but you're also victim blaming. She was manipulated to help cause the apocalypse after having the worst day of her life. Doesn't get to plan her birthday with Dipper, Grenda and Candy can't really stay in touch after the summer, high school which she has been looking foward to turns out to be horrible, and now Dipper the ine steady person in her life has decided to leave her.

Also, how was she supposed to know it was dangerous??? Like, literally no one knew, amd she would have helped without Soos if she had known. She was only trying to help in her own way and even if it didn't work out that 100% was not her fault.

when people are like "dipper was forced to give up his dream to go with mabel >:(" even though ford and dipper hadn't yet gotten any confirmation that the twins' parents were okay with dipper staying in gravity falls year round. There's a difference in sending your kids to a relative's house for the summer (essentially summer camp) and letting one of your children live away from home permanently. Not to mention with a relative they might not have even known existed (they sent the kids to live with Stan, not Ford)

Plus, in the weirdmaggedon flashbacks, it seemed like while all the boys thought mabel was cute (see: her valentine cards), the girls bullied her (see: the school picture incident) just like how Dipper was also bullied. Mabel would have been sent home entirely alone, away from her brother AND friends, and she wouldn't have even been able to take Waddles with her if Stan and Ford didn't threaten that bus driver.

Dipper didn't need the apprenticeship, just like Ford didn't need it either. They both let their dreams get in between them and their sibling, which (shown entirely through Stan and Ford's backstory episode) was LITERALLY THE PROBLEM. Ford and Stan needed to reconnect through the boat trip. Dipper and Mabel need each other's support to get through the rest of their childhood (well, their teenhood now I guess)

Mabel and Dipper's struggle in weirdmaggedon is literally meant to parallel Ford and Stan's struggle, but this time they fix it before things go as far as one faking his death and the other being trapped in Hell Dimensions for 30 years. That's the point of the promise. There's a reason that the silly "sibling hug" thing they do is the thing that makes the dream bubble turn against Mabel. There's a reason that Ford and Stan's continued struggle against each other is what leads to the younger twins literally almost dying. Bill was going to kill Mabel because he knew that their bond wasn't as easy to break as Ford and Stan's. He can't control them when they trust each other.

Dipper and Mabel staying together literally saves the world.
