i had sent the response to their "confirm this is still an issue and we'll fix it with priority" email on the 25th, and just got this message 15 minutes ago. both sideblogs have been returned with all posts - including the one i hadn't mentioned in the ticket (since it happened afterwards.)

Hai during months ago you said youre passwordlocked side log disappeared. do you know now if it was a glitch? I think it happened to me :(

i believe it's a tumblr glitch or auto-spam filter related to if you're reblogging "too much" within a short period of time while connected to a VPN. we sent in a ticket when it happened to us back in april, and they recently sent a response saying "they'll review it with priority". we'll see how quickly that happens. i'd say it's worth submitting a ticket anyway though, tumblr is really arbitrary on response time & you might get lucky.

in the mean time, you can see the posts on the blog from the mass post editor: https://www.tumblr.com/mega-editor/published/yoururlhere while you won't be able to open them, you'll be able to see an archive-style preview of what the post was, including anything in your drafts and queue, which could be useful for refinding them. this also implies that everything is still there on the server and could be reinstated by staff if/when they get around to the ticket, so not all is lost.
