“...up. wake up!” jungwon nudged you, his tail wagging in excitement to see you rousing from your sleep. without looking, you ran your right hand through his fluffy brown hair, stopping right behind his floppy dog ears to gently rub that favorite spot. 

“i’m not late am i?” you retracted your hand to stifle a yawn and jungwon whined at the loss of contact, clearly indicating that you were in fact on time and that he wanted cuddles. 

“come here you big baby.” he clambered onto the bed, engulfing you in his embrace, a wide smile plastered on his face. you two lay in comfortable silence with you caressing his hair, before your phone vibrated, breaking the peace. 

jungwon watched as you reached over for your phone, noting the time which shone 8.04am. he then noticed a message which flashed across your screen and you immediately jerked out of bed, startling him. 

“I forgot I’ve got to meet Heeseung! He’s treating today’s breakfast.” jungwon pouted, “right now?” he memorized your timetable well enough to know your classes on tuesday started at 10 and would routinely wake you up around 2 hours before so you could get ready. or more like he could steal more headpats from you before he’d see you again in the evening. 

“yeah. he’s waiting for me. come on, up.” you tapped his forehead. jungwon glanced up at you and you shook your head, “wonnie, don’t do those puppy eyes at me.” you cupped his face and planted a big kiss on his cheek before getting out of bed. 

jungwon pulled your blankets up to his chin, tucking himself away in the coziness of your scent. you dashed into the joined bathroom, and a few minutes later you emerged, uniform neatly tucked in. you stumbled around, a little unsteady on your feet as you pulled on your socks. from the corner of his eyes, he spotted your school’s tie and grabbed it, beckoning you over. your eyes followed his actions and you gave him a lopsided grin. 

habitually, he looped the fabric around your neck before swiftly knotting the tie in place. “thanks bubs.” you hastily pressed a kiss on his lips before bending down to retrieve your school bag. jungwon slipped out of bed, following you into the living room. reaching out, he tugged you into his embrace, his chin comfortably on the crown of your head. 

“can you tell heeseung hyung that you’ll pass on his offer? i can make breakfast for you.” you playfully scoffed, “you? more like me who’s doing the cooking AND cleaning up.” you lightly pinched his cheeks but he refused to let his iron grip go. 

“please? pretty please? i just want to spend more time with you this morning.” jungwon pleaded, his voice lacing with a little more desperation than he had thought. 

a beat passed and jungwon had thought he had upset you because you were silent. slowly, his arms fell to his side and he bowed his head, “i’m sorry...i shouldn’t have crossed the line—” 

“—no, no. you’re right. i can always postpone it.” you dropped heeseung a text as jungwon’s eyes immediately brightened, a smile growing on his face. he contentedly yipped as he pulled you in for another hug. 

“so where’s the breakfast you promised me?” you joked and jungwon teasingly huffed, “i don’t know. how about we eat take-away?” 

“jungwon-!”

summary: taeyong’s happy to have your support, more than anything else in the world   word count: 288 words  

taeyong almost hadn’t heard you enter the room, save from your little shuffles and sniffles as you subtly made your presence known. he looked up, glancing straight at the mirror as you made yourself comfortable on the sofa at the back of the dancing studio. taeyong bit back a giggle when you shrugged on his already oversized NCT jersey, tucking your legs close to your body. 

“tyong, hwaiting!” you shook your fists, smiling brightly at him. “30 more minutes.” taeyong promised, holding out his pinkie finger. you nodded curling up, your gaze never leaving his figure. with a new motivation in mind, he continued to perfect NCT 127’s latest choreography, sticker. 

shaking out his limbs, taeyong decided that it was time to warm down. you shifted your attention to him, “c’mere.” you beckoned for him to come over, patting the empty space beside you. taeyong obliged, making his way over before sitting on the floor. 

silently, you reached over to massage his calves, oddly reassuring him of the effort he is putting into his work. “how are you feeling?” you graced him with your small smile and he laughed, “not bad. our latest comeback is slightly different, but i enjoy it.” 

“sounds like what a workaholic would say.” You huffed, lips quirking upwards as if to hide an all-knowing grin. as quickly as you said that you questioned, “anywhere else?” 

taeyong stretched out his limbs, flexing his foot as you stared at him inquisitively. “i think...here.” he playfully pointed at his lips, signaling that he wants a kiss. 

“tyong!” you blushed a brilliant red and whacked him lightly. “ah, i’m kidding. give me a hug.” taeyong easily pulled you into his larger frame. 

“thank you for supporting me.”

sangyeon -- bucket hat

definitely notices that his hat is on you as soon as you got off the bus, waving at him excitedly

apparently, you didn’t know it was his; you were in a rush this morning as you overslept, nearly late for the date

both sangyeon and you had made matching bucket hats last summer and had your names engraved at the top; sangyeon’s hat had his name, your hat had your name

despite him knowing, he decides not to say anything

it was as if you were labelled his (makes him super giddy with happiness)

jacob -- volleyball jacket

how you managed to find that, jacob didn’t know; one thing he knew however was that you did a great job in making that jacket look like yours

you had the jacket on backwards by habit + curled up in his bed + sniffling due to the cold weather = extremely cute 

“is that mine...?” “uh...yes?” you gave him a sheepish grin 

immediately drops his bag to cuddle with you, pressing his face into the juncture of your neck and shoulder

may purposely leave more of his sports attire around the room because there is something about you in his most memorable clothing that makes his heart swell 

younghoon -- chunky sneakers

younghoon is fashionable and he knows it, but the way you make his fashionable clothing very you...he likes that a lot; and the fact that you always went out of your way to dress up for him? that’s hot

for one, his feet were very big, so how you managed to wear his chunky sneakers without them falling off is a mystery

he stifles a laughter as you dashed towards him, crashing into his bigger frame 

“i see you have my sneakers on.” “insoles, if you were wondering.” you confidently answered him, reading his mind effectively 

he for sure is going to brag on any available social media platform that you two were the BEST looking couple out there

hyunjae -- old hoodie

hyunjae’s clearing out his wardrobe so that he could put in more of his clothes;  the different trends in fashion also meant that he had admittedly spent a little too much in clothes

as he’s clearing his wardrobe, he turns around and finds out that you’ve been having a “fashion show” behind his back the entire time

you stop mid action, bursting out laughing at the unreadable expression on his face 

“sorry, i just thought that these clothes were a waste and that i could...wear them?” “that looks really good on you right now.”

“Thank you all for the well wishes TheB! Bye bye~!” Hyunjae ended the V-Live session, bag packed and ready to go. “Manager-nim—” “—I’ll pack up here.” His manager gave him an all-knowing look, nudging Hyunjae out of the door. As if on cue, his phone dinged and he looked at the notification. Greetings Mister Lee Hyunjae, Happy Birthday! You are cordially invited to my house for a Netflix & Chill session. He chuckled at your antics, replying to your message with a simple “see you <3”. 

A beat passed and Hyunjae began sprinting towards the exit, terribly elated to see you. You didn’t live too far from Cre.ker Entertainment, which was a bonus because Hyunjae could crash at your place any time. With every step he took, his smile grew wider, his heart swelling with joy.. Breathless and a little giddy from the sheer excitement, he finally reached your door. 

Fishing for his set of the keys to your apartment, he invited himself into your humble abode. “Hyunjae? Oh no, wait!” Before he could even speak, your hands flew up to cover his line of vision. “You weren’t supposed to see it!” He couldn’t see your face, but he knew you most definitely had a pout. He burst out laughing, deciding to go along with your antics, “Okay, okay. I have my eyes closed.” 

Inch by inch, you held on to him as you two navigated the living room. “And...surprise!” Hyunjae opened his eyes to the cosy sight before him: a little pillow fort, something that he had wanted to do for sometime. “How did you know?” “Would you believe me if I asked you?” You cheekily replied. “Asked me...oh no. When I was drunk right?” A hazy memory of getting drunk a few days back surfaced and Hyunjae face-palmed. 

“Back to this. Here. Matching pajamas!” You shoved a soft, teddy bear pattern set of pajamas into his arms. “Go, go! I still need to grab the food!” You giggled, taking his bag from him and pushing him towards the toilet. “I got it.” He lightly pinched your cheeks. He made quick work of shedding his clothes and changing into the ones you handed him. 

Emerging from the toilet slightly refreshed, he padded over to the pillow fort where you were waiting with a small cake. “Did you make this?” Hyunjae gasped when you nodded, holding the cake up to him. He sat down beside you, receiving the cake as he did. “Make a wish.” You urged him. “I wish that I can see...more of your aegyo.” He closed his eyes, smiling as the words left his mouth. 

“Geez. For all the things to wish for.” “It’s a good wish. Sometimes you’re really uptight. It isn’t bad but I like your cute side more.” Hyunjae reasoned back and you gave in, “Alright, alright. Anything for you.” Following his count, Hyunjae requested for 3 sets of heart aegyo and you complied. “Ah Hyunjae...it’s embarrassing.” He embraced you, hands on your flushed face. “Aigoo, but you did it for me, hm?” 

“Never again. Gah, my face is so hot.” 

“How about my next birthday?” 

“Hyunjae—”

“I don’t need your concern.” - Yangyang

“Yangyang, how is your roomie?” Xiaojun question and Yangyang shrugged, “How should I know? It’s not like I’m keeping tabs.” Xiaojun rolled his eyes and held up his phone, showing a text message between you, Yangyang’s roomie, and him. “So?” Yangyang replied flippantly. “You’re not getting the point here. Your roomie’s sick.” A sour feeling formed in the pits of his gut and he gulped, choosing to ignore it. Xiaojun shoved a tupperware and a thermal flask in Yangyang’s direction and sighed. “Since I’m not allowed to go to to your block, you’d have to pass it on behalf of me.”

“I don’t need your concern, Liu Yangyang.” Yangyang held you by your shoulders, as you weakly struggled against his strong grip. He had found you crouched in front of the door to the toilet and lifted you to your feet. “You’re sick.” He repeated for the umpteenth time. He felt bad; Yangyang had vaguely remembered trying to get you to wake up, but he didn’t ensure that you left the room for class. Why are you feeling bad? It’s not like you’re going to benefit from it, he reminded himself. 

For the longest time and for some unexplainable reason, you have made it clear that you didn’t like Yangyang. Yangyang let out a breath, “Xiaojun instructed me to give you this to drink.” You pushed him away, “Later.” “Stop being so stubborn and let me help you!” Yangyang protested. 

Yangyang’s eyes bore into your glassy ones and you stared at him blankly, before looking away letting out a sniffle. You lay down back in your bed, defeated, as a tear escaped your eyes, “Leave me alone.” You coughed weakly into your clenched fist, and Yangyang felt a pang of guilt, “Hey. I know you hate me, but I’m not that mean to leave you to suffer.” You indignantly glanced at him and out of nervousness he rambled on, “I mean…it might be my fault that I lowered the air conditioner to a cold temperature, but I’m doing this—”

You cut him off by flipping to your side, “I…I just don’t want you to see me in my weakest, okay?! Now just leave me alone.” Yangyang let that information sink in. The icy cold impression you gave off…was just so people didn’t see your weak side? 

“I don’t want you to get sick. You’ve got classes tomorrow.” You continued, pulling the blankets higher. Yangyang opened his mouth, ready to retort back, but stopped when you gave him a side glance, “I can take care of myself.” 

Yangyang exhaled, “I’ll be right here if you need me. So please, let me help you.”
