Rhaenyra Targaryen

After the toxic relationships she's had, Rhaenyra decided to take a step back and focus on being alone for a while. She focuses on her career as a business CEO and being there for her children. Robb would act as a father figure to her and convince her to work on herself for a while. She followed his advice, developing a a hobby as an amauter historian on Old Valyria. Criston and her are close friends, grabbing a drink from the pub every now and again.

Alicent Hightower

Intially not wanting to divorce, Alicent was evenutally persuaded by friends that her marriage wasn't healthy for her or her children. Despite still holding feelings for her ex, she spends her time and energy on her children. She works as a lawyer due to her driven and somewhat calculating nature. Her love of poetry has expanded to her writing full length manuscripts which Lenora has been begging for her to publish. She remains close with her brother Gwayne and visits him often with her four children.

Lenora Strong

Following her divorce, Lenora would devote her time and energy to raising her three sons. She would become a soccer mom type, always taking them to whatever clubs or extracurriculars they would sign up for. She would also spend most weekends visiting her father Lyonel and brothers, Harwin and Larys. She works as a teacher because she loves helping others and adores children. She struggles with doing things for herself and has been convinced by her friend, Alicent, to take up Zumba classes for fun.

Dyanna Tully

Following her divorce, Dyanna got remarried to Gwayne Hightower two years later. This was a slightly controversial decision in the eyes of others but she doesn't let this affect her as she was finally married to someone she loved. Given that Dyanna didn't have much work experience she bounced from job to job while keeping up with her hobby of horseback riding. Eventually, she and Gwayne bought a ranch, where she now works. She continues to raise her children and visits her nephew, Elmo Tully, as well as Lenora and Alicent, at least once a month.

So I accidentally created a weirdly funny situation in my own fic. One of my OCs, Dyanna, is from House Tully and for her fancast I chose Abigail Cowen. I thought she fit the character and thought nothing more about it until recently when I realized that Abigail is American. Most of the cast of House of the Dragon is from the UK with many having a British accent. Now every time I write her, I can't help imagining Dyanna speaking in an American accent with everyone else having a British one.

The other characters would have no idea why she sounds like that cause like she's from the Riverlands and no one else from there sounds like that? Her own kids have British accents so maybe they would think she's being funny and doing a bit? But also anyone else would wonder what accent that even is since America isn't a thing?

Aegon: Dyanna have you seen Jace?

Dyanna *with a heavy Floridan accent*: He’s playing with Viserys, love.

Aegon: …

Aegon *turns to Alicent*: Does Lady Dyanna always talk like that?

Alicent *with a hundred-yard stare*: Yes, we don't know why and we can't get her to stop

Omg the amount of times I've seen this on a post or had this commented on my fics. Someone’s personal interpretation of a character or story shouldn't affect my writing. Yet people like to complain.

If one more post of people complaining about other people writing certain things, tropes or plots they think aren‘t fitting for a certain character crosses my dash, I’ll fucking riot. What is it with people being too pressed to let others just enjoy fanfiction, and more importantly the stuff they write for themselves? Unless it‘s stated otherwise by the master himself, GRRM, I‘ll write whatever the fuck I want for these characters.

Daemon Targaryen x Criston Cole

Hear me out...they would be fascinating to watch.

Something probably would have awakened in Daemon that day on the bridge in Dragonstone when he got Cole's name wrong and Criston gave the snarkiest little response "Perhaps my prince recalls when I knocked him off his horse." Man had to walk away from that and have a therapy session with Mysaria immediately after.

Years later, he comes back from the Stepstones after fighting for so long that when he returns and finds out Cole is Rhaenyra's knight, he feels a certain type of way.

Rhaenyra would be like "So uncle what was the Stepstones like?"

Daemon would say something like "Great, weather was nice. So does your knight ever talk about the tourney we were in? Like does he talk about any people that stood out to him or?"

It would become almost a running gag from how many times Daemon just "happens to appear" where Criston is and tries to antagonize (flirt) with him.

Would this ship have saved Westeros and prevented the dance? No. Would Joffrey Lounmouth still be alive? Yes, because Criston was too distracted being confused by Daemon trying to rizz him up at Rhaenyra's wedding.
