I see people saying that Konan is the mom of the Akatsuki, but lets be honest, it’s Itachi. Itachi is the mom of the Akatsuki. No, I don’t care that he’s way younger than most the members. I said what I said.

Imagine how awkward it would be for Itachi to transition from his stiff and respectable clan to the Akatsuki. The culture shock would be overwhelming.

Everyone in the Akatsuki has house chores at the base, it’s indisputable. Sorry, I don’t make the rules, that’s just how it is. 

Itachi: 100% on cooking all their meals (And doctor because my head-canons. No, I do not care that there isn’t a shred of evidence for this). 

Kisame: Keeps all the weapons clean (???) Probably slacks off a lot tbh.

Sasori: Sews up their clothes bc Kakuzu is too cheap to buy them new ones (Also doctor bc canon references)

Deidara: Low-key babysitting Tobi tbh (Though he probably needs one of his own, really)

Hidan: Hunting bc Kakuzu saids it’s a waste to buy the animals frozen when you can just get them free in the wild

Kakuzu: Being cheap (Aka, managing the Akatsuki’s funds)

Nagato: Probably something non-labor intensive like laundry or something

Konan: Keeping everyone on task and making sure no one kills their partners.
