Just the idea of spiderman swinging around and imitating Dick's acrobatic moves perfectly. Knowing where Cass and Damian are no matter their amazing assassin skills because he can feel it.

And while I dont really understand what the soul stone is, it sure is great when spiderman has far too many ghosts around him and Duke is like "what why, do you know you're Heavily haunted?"

I love Spiderman nerding out with Tim but also nerding out with Jason!! Jason and Spiderman riding on his bike and Spiderman just goes, alright give me a sec, and fucking jumps out of the bike right after staying STANDING UP on the bike for far too many seconds than a regular human being can.

I love Spiderman religiously avoiding Batman because he learned of the no meta rule and very much not knowing most if not all of Batman's rules are very easily bended and have multiple exceptions.

Its fun and I like it and i wanna write it. But that means I gotta write and i dont wanna write.

Reading dc vs vampires

Going well (lying)

Gonna be honest with you, a reason I didnt put her here was because my ideas were kinda lame.

I was going for she discovers immortality but that usually never ends well

Or maybe she creates a network of information that eventually has her immortalised by electronic means

Because Barbara's whole thing is coming from nothing. She overhears her father talking about cases and she also has that amazing sense of justice and wants to help. And she does, of course, but its not something she was born into or born with. So I feel like the best option was she creating her own immortality, not for a selfish desire but because she wants to keep helping others no matter what.

Which is that sense of justice that lead Barbara from Batgirl to Oracle, so I believe she would realise, while being Oracle more than while being Batgirl, that she indeed is needed. That without her, the bats missions goes way worse, that they need her and she needs to be here forever.

I dont think she would willingly go searching for immortalizing magic or Lazurus Pits, so that leaves electronics.

And even though I dont think she dabbles in mechanics, I think it would be cool for her to make microscopic little robots that help her body stay healthy continuously. So she doesn't die from disease or old age.

As a result of the lazarus pit jason is now immortal he doesn't ageand he cant die, realizing this he fakes his own death. Would love to hear your take on this idea

Ah alright so I can’t go full sad because I’m very much incapable of writing angst where one person has to watch all their loved ones age and die, but I can do an element where… none of them age. But Jason thinks he’s the only one thanks to the pit (his immortality still works different).

So… he fakes his death.

And it’s good. He goes the whole nine yards. Fake body, DNA samples, footage of himself frantically trying to escape yet another warehouse rigged to blow, the panicked call to the rest of the Bats to “Please, please, not again please, get me out of— please, i don’t want to burn again-“ that has everyone in a mad scramble trying to save him him…

But they arrive “too late”. Again. (Jason’s last hurrah at Bruce for the shit he pulled since his return).

And then Jason Todd is… dead.

He watches them from the shadows. Sometimes from continents away (but he can’t escape Gotham. Something pulls him back time and time again, no less than once a year.)

And at first.. it hurts. It hurts watching his family grieve him. But it’s better this way. He can’t stay and watch them age out and die. It would destroy him. But this way— this way he can focus solely on keeping them alive. To give them the longest life possible in their line of work. No more dead Robins. (No dead Batman.)

It hurts, but he makes it work. Watches years pass in which Tim grows up first. Then Damian. And then… it just stops?

After a decade Bruce still only has that faint shimmer of silver to his hair, movements neither slowing nor becoming sloppy with age.

Dick still survives on an unholy cocktail of sugar topped with more sugar, in peak physical condition despite it all.

And finally— finally Jason catches on that something might not be quite right here.

(And they still mourn him. Acutely aware of the loss of one of their own. Of the empty space at the dinner table. Of the silence down the comm line they still keep open religiously. Just in case. Just in case….)
