Tbh I think the ships should have been Anakin/Rex and Padme/ALL the Handmaidens and I think that could have fixed them. Padme and her handmaidens could have adopted kids. Rex and Anakin could have adopted a couple thousand shinies. It’s how it SHOULD have been.
