I Hate To Say It, But Some Of You Think The Only Kind Of Power Someone Can Have In The Dream Smp Is Resources/pvp

i hate to say it, but some of you think the only kind of power someone can have in the dream smp is resources/pvp skills and that just doesn't work out when

1) dream smp was literally a fucking political drama when it started out (and therefore involves power in more than just one axis/category. a notable category, and the one most often overlooked, is the sociopolitical category (aka socially))

2) people don't seem to realize that you can be weak in one area and not be weak in another

anyway what i'm saying is c!technoblade has little to no power if we're talking about this sociopolitically which is why c!schlatt, someone with little to no resources and pvp skills but tremendous amounts of sociopolitical power, can pressure c!technoblade into killing tubbo.

people who say that c!technoblade never gets repercussions or consequences narratively are not only wrong, but also just wants to see him suffer physically either so they can make torture porn fanwork or get that sick kind of satisfaction from seeing someone hurt.

or i guess you guys are just weird as hell because c!ranboo has no sociopolitical power (he gets put under peer pressure a lot) until recently when he marries c!tubbo and joins the syndicate and you all seem to understand that even though he grinds for resources and has OP weapons he's still not the most powerful person on the server & you can make angst out of whatever he does

and, like, c!techno gets fucked over, lmao. he just doesn't get fucked over in the way you all seem to think is the Only Way anyone can get narrative consequences. literally tell your faves to get better at minecraft if you want to see techno beaten physically / resource wise so badly.

technoblade: his would be a full book case filled to the brim philosophy books, greek mythology (obviously) strictly, no fiction (except for song of Achilles that was a joke gift wilbur gave him that techno actually cried while reading it) , lots of history books mostly about environments and wildlife (the nether, piglin all that jazz), art of war, war and peace, and stray battle tactic books

tommy: all of his books would be thrown in a chest. most of them are stray hand me downs from techno or wilbur, but most of it is fictional stories. not a lot of plot in the stories he reads, just classic cliches. he would of course carry a whole stack of marvel comics, he has a stray dc comic but other then that most are spider-man or avengers related. he also keeps one child hood diary that just contains strewn profanity’s directed at the sbi group because he got picked on for being the youngest

philza: this is a massive collection of books, mostly collected over his adventurers or prized treasures that were given to him. the books that stand out the most though are enchanting books, treasure maps or mystical history. side note he keeps everything his kids ever given to him. side side note, he has all of wilburs diary’s and writings, even his music books and history books he created

wilbur: random cryptic books, strategy game books, song books, music journals, recordings of his history, letters he never got to give to fundy as. just in case, philzas letters, a single peculiar recipe book that has a recipe for ant eaters, vast amounts of books on political science , a birthday gift to tommy that’s just a engraved book of how to sex 3 as a joke, psychology books. wilbur has the most diverse collection of books out of anyone on the server in
