Shinso For Someone? 0u0 Idk I Wanna Interact XD

“Shinsou! Thank God! No one else is answering!”  His phone was broken, but he could still get a call out with his earpiece. Still, it seemed that he was either working through interference or no one was bothering to answer their phones. Most likely the former considering the situation. “Villains are breaking into the school again! And I swear I’m not joking around.” It was an unnecessary reassurance given the urgency injected into his out of breath tone, and the fact that he’d never joked about villains in any of his pranks. It figured though that this would happen the one time he’d gone off campus alone, he’d come back to see someone seemingly attempting to hack into the gate to get in. He had fried the mechanism to prevent their entrance, only then to realize that all their attention now fell on him. Denki had been running ever since.

“I’m headed towards Ground Beta, but I need some help like now.”

[inspired by this]

“actually… i just miss you.”

“alright, i’ll leave you alone.”

“and slowly… i was forgotten.”

“and then everything just disappears.”

“and where do i go?”

“anyone could tell from here.”

“are you finishing that or…?”

“are you stupid or stupid?”

“anything, just call me, okay?”

“bitch better have my money.”

“bro… that’s so… not cool…”

“but did you do it?”

“call me now. it’s urgent.”

"can’t you listen to me?”

“cross that. don’t answer that.”

“don’t even think about it.”

“don’t you dare walk away.”

“do it. i dare you.”

“did you think i forgot?”

“eventually… you just move on.”

“even if you still do.”

“everything will fall into place.”

“fight me, you attractive stranger.”

“for once, i need you.”

“for once… i was right.”

“for once… i was wrong.”

“forget i even asked you.”

“forget it. you fucking suck.”

“fuck’s sake, what’s your problem?”

“fuck off. i mean it.”

“give and take. that’s life.”

“great. perfect. nice. fuck this.”

“have you lost your mind?”

“hello? it’s me. i was-”

“hey… that wasn’t so nice.”

“here’s a glass of whatever.”

“how about a hug, hm?”

“how about you make me?”

“i haven’t forgot you yet.”

“i can’t be around you.”

“i don’t need you, really.”

“i don’t need this now.”

“is this your first time?”

“it’s just a cut, really.”

“it wasn’t me, i swear!”

“i said i love you.”

“just don’t fuck it up.”

"just… come back alive, okay?”

“just make sure you’ve eaten.”

“kick his ass for me.”

“killed him? wait, what, literally?”

“life really sucks. feel better.”

“letting go hurts… a lot.”

“let me live, will you?”

“no, i don’t need you.”

“nothing can hurt me now.”

“nothing matters anymore to me.”

“okay it was me… so?”

“people lie all the time.”

“pipe the fuck down, asshole.”

“please, you can’t die now.”

“please don’t leave me alone.”

“quiet. they can hear us.”

“quick! give me your phone!”

“quicker, you freaking piece of-”

“quit it or i’ll bite.”

“quit staring! they’ll notice us!”

"really? do i look stupid?”

“real smooth, tripping over air.”

“rise and shine, sweet thing.”

“rise and fucking shine, motherfucker.”

“seriously? give me a break.”

“so… what are we now?”

“so… did you miss me?”

“so… can we go eat?”

“so… when’s the next flight?”

“so… how did everything go?”

“sometimes, i wish you died.”

“so what? you did it.”

“time passes slower without you.”

“then what do you suggest?”

“the fuck? who are you?”

“then you tell me why.”

“this is not working out.”

“this isn’t what i wanted.”

“this is all a fucking disaster.”

“when did it all happen?”

“who knew you’d be here?”

“why do i even bother?”

“why do i love you?”

“why didn’t you tell me?”

“you’re just… so, so stupid.”

“you can’t be here now.”

“you look like an accident.”

“you really need to go.”

“you know who to call.”

"zero fucks given. next please.”

Izukus Apology Is The Only Thing That Managed To Break Through To Eijiro Long Enough To Make Him Look

Izuku’s apology is the only thing that managed to break through to Eijiro long enough to make him look up at his classmate. What could he possibly be apologizing for? He’d expected Izuku of all people to not show him pity. It wasn’t that he thought Izuku was rigid or unforgiving, quite the opposite in fact, but he had betrayed his trust. And what he’d been sure would be worse in Izuku’s eyes, he’s betrayed all of their friends. Surely that wasn’t something that could be forgiven so easily, even for a truly kind and heroic individual such as Izuku Midoriya,

“What? Why?” His voice sounded strained with pain, but he was too confused to stay silent, not only was Izuku apologizing, he wanted to help him? At the very least he’d expected to be taken to Aizawa sensei after maybe a trip to Recovery Girl. He didn’t deserve this kindness. “I told them about USJ and where the camp training was, it’s my fault Bakugou was taken.. I don’t deserve your help.”

He figured that might be enough for Izuku to change his mind, after how badly he’d been hurt and how upset he’d been to lose Bakugou to the League. It didn’t matter that Eijiro had gotten a team together to get Bakugou back, not when it was his fault he’d been taken in the first place. The Kamino incident still felt like a fresh wound, and it wasn’t a surprise that debilitating guilt had finally made him slip up.  But if all Izuku was asking for was honesty for now, he could do that.

“My uncle.. he was a villain.” It seemed the easiest place to start, showed that he was already aligned with those sort of people. And no matter how hard he tried not to, maybe he was meant to be the same. “I wanted to get away from all that.. I really did join school to become a hero. But he saw it as an opportunity, I should have known he would, that I couldn’t just leave like that.” He winced as he shifted causing his arm to flare up in pain. But he ignored the instinct to harden up in response, that would only make things worse, and he needed to get this out before they went back to school. And if Izuku was going to truly keep this between them, then they’d need to come up with a story about how his arm broke in the first place.

“He took me to the League of Villains.. They agreed that it was a good idea, having someone on the inside. They just.. didn’t need my uncle to be a middleman. Especially when Shigaraki could just disintegrate him like that..” Eijiro broke off, still sick at the memory and the terror associated. “They gave me a phone.. Said they’d be happy to do that to me too if I didn’t cooperate..” He sighed miserably, looking up to Izuku. “So I came here.. But I’m not a hero at all. I’m just a coward.”

There were no words to describe how Izuku felt as he reached the ground again. He couldn’t deny that there was genuine regret behind Kirishima’s apology. Anyone that could have been able to go through with playing both sides while becoming friends with their classmates must have been suffering for some time… Especially someone as well-liked as he was! It would have been a much easier fight if Izuku hadn’t gotten so close to him over their time together.

“Kirishima–” he gasped out as he noticed the other cradling his broken arm. The plan had never included breaking anything. He’d figured the hardening quirk would have been able to take that kind of beating, but it was all too obvious to him just what had happened. Kirishima could have easily withstood one of his kicks… unless he’d given up. “I’m sorry too…”

Izuku braced himself for whatever may have come his way, but he wasn’t about to fight a friend that did nothing more than make a mistake that got him in over his head. He needed to figure something out, and fast. No one else needed to know what was going on if he could intervene and set things straight. He could protect Kirishima and fix the damage that had been done – they’d taken on more difficult tasks before, hadn’t they?

With everything going on, it was clear that Kirishima was going to need someone on his side, regardless of what some bad choices had led to for everyone involved.

“I wanna help you,” he breathed, willing his heartbeat to slow (at least to stop pounding in his ears so that he could calm down without hearing it.) “So you’re gonna have to be honest with me about what’s going on… It’ll just stay between us – I promise.”

symboliic:

all might isn’t honestly sure what he hopes to gain from this, but it feels important to have the conversation anyway. it won’t be until nearly halfway through their talk that he realizes he’s doing it not for himself, but for young todoroki. sure, there’s a bit of catharsis in there for him; closure, if you will, for his stepping down and the elder todoroki’s rise. but none of that has anything to do with the young man in front of him, and when he finally understands, it’s like a weight off his shoulders.

(he’s never considered himself to be a good teacher. not to his classes, not to midoriya, not to anyone. he’s been so focused on himself. maybe that can finally start to change.)

“y’know, i think that’s very wise of you.” not that he doesn’t think he has it in him, at least in terms of power. “there are plenty of heroes who don’t want to be at the top,” he says. “but very few of them actually have what it takes anyway. it takes a rare kind of person to have it all but still set your sights on something else.” he smiles, just a little. it’s nothing like the big, bold, glistening smile of his hero persona, but it’s somehow more genuine, like this.

image

“i…” he hesitates. “i don’t know what happened between you and your father.” and he doesn’t need to; todoroki has made it very clear that whatever the reason, the two are not on good terms. “but if you’re looking ahead to forgiveness…” he finds himself lost in thought for a moment. “then your mind, and your heart—” he pokes the other’s chest. “are already in the right place.”

he looks back up at all might as his teacher begins speaking, he wasn’t quite expecting this new goal to be called wise. while shoto knew that the number a hero reaches doesn’t truly encapsulate their worth as a hero, becoming number one had been the goal drilled into him almost since he could remember. to his father, this new goal wouldn’t have been anything to praise at all. or maybe that wouldn’t be the case anymore, now that his father was trying to change. but shoto didn’t know how deep that change went just yet. he’d have to wait and see.

“thank you. i’ll still be trying my hardest though.” now that he’s actually talking about it with someone, it does feel more like something he wants for himself and his family. he wants to be able to visit his mother as a pro hero and tell her about the things she’s done and the people he’s saved. he wants to be able to provide comfort and peace to people in a crisis. this was why he’d loved all might as a child, in stark contrast to the atmosphere his father brought to a room. “i don’t think bakugou or izuku would accept anything less anyway.” his mouth quirked up into a small smile at the thought. it was odd to consider that he’s at the point where he can just speak with all might like this, especially with how complicated their relationship is now because of endeavor. but he doesn’t blame all might for that, and he can’t imagine his teacher holds it against him either.

Symboliic:

“you spoke to him, at the remedial training?” while he’d been trying to ignore his father’s attendance, he had seen the two of them sitting together before the children had taken all of his attention. “do you think he’s truly trying to change?” hearing the opinions of others didn’t necessarily affect how he felt about the situation, he already knew his sister and mother were inclined to forgive him while his brother couldn’t. but all might knew his father longer than he or his siblings had, and he knew him in the context of a hero and a rival. if there was anyone besides his family that endeavor had to change for, it was all might.
