i did a lot of thinking while putting bambi!reader together and the reason why i associated doe eyes with bambi!reader is because it exudes innocence and/or naivety. doe eyes, just like ‘wispy lashes’ are cosmetic. it’s like if someone said the reader in a fic was wearing red nail polish, we know subconsciously that it doesn’t matter because it’s changeable. the actual animal (deer) has wispy lashes, so i wanted to include that for bambi!reader as well. doe eyes are an expression, not a genetic trait or anything of the sort. i hope this clears everything up anon <3
