You sat on the 2nd floor, lost in your world, Corporate life, with chaos swirled. I was on the 4th, just finding my way, Taking baby steps, learning each day.

At 7 AM, you’d rush down the stairs, While I waited for my bus, unaware of my stares. Saturday mornings, your breakfast was late, With a smile that seemed to seal my fate.

I hoped my crush remained a secret, Checking my room, longing to meet. But you were gone, not a glimpse to see, Still, I pray our paths will cross, just you and me, In this fast-paced city where dreams collide, Hoping one day, you'll be by my side.

Barefoot on a summer night

I tiptoed in the milky moonlight

Enjoying my walk in sand

I noticed how peaceful was my mind

Just like how sea is calmer at night

Just like how sea is rattled at day's bright

Yes darkness is my colour of comfort

Even white horses of sea seemed to assert

Nothing made me more cheerful and solace

Than the deadness of night, I promise.
