Hey! I'm not a certified Tumblr expert, but I've been here a while so I thought I'd explain Tumblr a bit. Of course feel free to disregard me, I just want to help but I recognize it may be unwanted and that's fair.

Basically it seems like you haven't been Reblogging anything, which is one of Tumblr's biggest features. Liking posts is good, but doesnt really extend a post's reach like a Reblog. A good way to get involved in any Tumblr community is to simply reblog posts from the tags/artists you like.

And if youre worried about your Tumblr's organization then most people will organize their Blog by tagging their posts, (a lot of artists will use "my work" or "my art" etc) which you can then search for easily within your Blog. Keep in mind if youre on the Mobile App, the Blog search function is pretty busted last I checked.
