To put your heart and soul
Into all of your dreams?
Is it worth it
To sacrifice your happiness
To make someone else's come true?
Is it worth it
To prove that you can
To show the world
You are worth it
Worth the time and love
Worth the love and respect
Of those you love?
Morning comes
And as I wake
My eyes come open
But oddly with so much pain.
Some days are good
Most days are great
But some days
The pain is more than You can take.
On the good days
You don't pace yourself
Because you are not so sure
Of when the next day will be
