What a woman wants
What a woman needs
Is someone who
Will listen you see
Someone who
Can feel her emotion
And be touched.
Someone whom she doesn't have to explain
How or why she feels this way.
Morning comes
And as I wake
My eyes come open
But oddly with so much pain.
Some days are good
Most days are great
But some days
The pain is more than You can take.
On the good days
You don't pace yourself
Because you are not so sure
Of when the next day will be
That the pain will escape.
Is it worth it
To put your heart and soul
Into all of your dreams?
Is it worth it
To sacrifice your happiness
To make someone else's come true?
Is it worth it
To prove that you can
To show the world
You are worth it
Worth the time and love
Worth the love and respect
Of those you love?
In the dark of the night
I caved into you
In tge dark of the night
I let my heart fall for you
In the dark of the night
I let you break the wall.
The one that was keeping
My heart whole and secure.
I let you convince my mind
That I was safe with you.
And then just like that
Next thing I knew
You were playing games
With my heart
And no we are through.

It is here and now
In the moments where
The dark takes hold
That one can look out the windows
And see the sun peak through.
Out of all those clouds
And suddenly a calm comes to be
And now you are at peace
Cause you feel like someone up in Heaven
Is shining down their light just for you to see.
