Fish-uary Day 8 & 9: Seahorse and Ray

I was a bit under the weather yesterday so I ended up missing the day, but I'm back at it! Don't you worry!

I imagine the two in this piece to be like Marlin and Crush the Surfing the EAC in Finding Nemo. Other than that, I don't really have much else to say. The manta ray girl is a reef manta while the seahorse man is a long-snouted seahorse (or the spiny seahorse in the UK).

Fish-uary Day 15: Aquarium Fish (Betta Splendens)

The three in this piece are my bettas Ferdinand, Xiao, and Ghost who have all passed away. I didn't have them at the same time. Ferdinand and Xiao would have definitely beaten the crap out of each other if they met since they're males, that's why the two are fighting in this. 😂

The trio didn't really last as long as I wanted them to. Ferdinand was gone after a year, Xiao was a few months, and Ghost was about 2 weeks. I did my best for them. I made sure the tank was clean, had aquarium plants, even had some snails, but I feel the worst about Ghost.

Ghost was in a tank with golden zebra loaches and I didn't know they would nip at her fins, being that she was a dumbo betta. Soon after, she passed away.

Ferdinand passed naturally, but Xiao had something wrong with him and I didn't catch it fast enough.

I hope I made all three happy in their time with me. They lived like kings and queens in their 20 gallon tank.

Fish-uary Day 14: Fictional Fish (Ganimes, Gezora, and Kamoebas)

Sorry it's a sketch today. Valentine's Day (or any holiday, really) is where things in my mind don't want to work. That and I don't really know what kind of fictional fish to do. Do I do Voidfish from The Adventure Zone? A leviathan from Subnautica? A Pokemon?

Now we're here, with a stone crab, a cuttlefish, and a mata mata turtle.

Monsterverse Titan: Shimo/Shimu

I'm excited for GxK, man. Can't wait to see Godzilla and Kong beat the crap out of Skar King and Shimo/Shimu.

I've seen a lot of conflicting things about whether Shimo is male or female, so this design is genderfluid. Personally, I see Shimo as female, as I think it would be interesting to have more female monsters, but I am keeping an open mind for stuff.

I (and my alt @asstroyess) will be once again participating in this months strike, it will be from February 18th - February 25th!

I won’t be posting anything but Palestine (along with any other country going through oppression and genocide) related information and I encourage you to do the same! Posting about your favorite shows can wait, but Palestine cannot.

Even if you can’t do much, simply sharing as much information about Palestine as you can, can go a long way and educate others!
