Ravens Valley, from a Storyteller.

I’m not here to teach (or educate) anything to anyone but only as a reminder about the benefits of nature which, has its own limits. Wilderness cleans our air, filters our water and provides home for human as well as for wildlife. So it is crucial for humanity, which is already to blame, to bring radical changes today before it’s entire extinction tomorrow. That is my only intention here folks. Beautiful visit this morning from a Turkey Buzzard which has probably been attracted by the Raven's breakfast.

Due to the rough climate around here, Vultures in the Northern Hemisphere are larger in size than the neotropics one. It forces them to have more meat on their shoulders. They can weight up to 5 pounds. Their wingspan is around 70 inches and even with no wind, like this morning, they're able to hoover for kilometers just like that.

These guys are very impressive.

Seriously, everybody knows that the planet is really warming up. But hey!

Over 300 wildfires in Canada are actively ravaging the Western Territories and the Province of British Columbia fuelled by thousand of lightning strikes. Everything is burning down there. Houses, establishments, nature, wildlife...

It's happening more than 5000km from here and it has been bringing us a high quantity of smog for over a month now with high temperatures in the area; even with the burning smell.

We have friends living in Vancouver, aka Raincouver where it rains pratically everyday, and they say that they haven't received any rain for over 50 days.

Unbelievable!

The First Nation People call him The White-headed Eagle. In French, Pygargue à Tête Blanche.

These captures have been taken at Cap Pelé in New Brunswick, Canada. It is near the Gaspesie Region of Québec where there was an extraordinary and unusual visit last month from a Great Imperial Eagle arriving from Asia, which apparently found a new territory to rest. The Imperial Eagle has travelled a couple of thousands km to arrive in Gaspesie and was seen for the first time in Alaska in 2020, and later on, in Texas on March 2021. Many Ornithologists from everywhere were present to study this Great Imperial Eagle.

Unfortunately I didn't get the chance to see that "Great Imperial Eagle" but this magnificent mature White-headed Eagle was there waiting for me to take these beautiful pictures of him.
