Ravens Valley, from a Storyteller.

I’m not here to teach (or educate) anything to anyone but only as a reminder about the benefits of nature which, has its own limits. Wilderness cleans our air, filters our water and provides home for human as well as for wildlife. So it is crucial for humanity, which is already to blame, to bring radical changes today before it’s entire extinction tomorrow. That is my only intention here folks. ... so they say we're the hosts for this Halloween Season's Party. OK! That means we're also in charge of the decorations and we decided to start today with some outdoor/indoor artifacts; it was getting a bit quiet around here anyway. But decoration here, is at l a r g e  s c a l e.

Anyone around here from Tumblr that still has the Halloween Spirit?; or are you too old, too busy, too tired, have too much work, or think it's only for kids. I know that for most people it's a big entertainment week. For others attempts are made to break the bond, which is keeping the doors to the "underworld" closed while for some other people a way bit more serious, a time for the High Unholy Ceremonies day. Blood communions, sexual rituals, the beltane incubus, necromancies, the famous Satanic Mass... whatever! But hey, what are your plans? Just kidding.

Anyway,

Our Halloween Season's party was cancelled last year due to the famous Corona Virus second wave and people around here are now more thirsty than ever. The Halloween Spirit is even more present this year, so decorations will be. It's going to be a giant party with at least one hundred people.

Now everyone knows that Halloween is celebrated on October 31st, where the nights are longer than days, and while the frontier between the dead and the living is at its thiner. So people around here have the habit of making Wooden Stickman as part of Halloween's artifacts.

Well this is our Giant Wooden Stickman and if you're not familiar with them, well these guys are representative of the Spirits of the dead and if you hang them from the trees, they will provide a way for the Spirits to travel between Worlds.

So meet one of our Giant 8' Wooden Stickman.

Happy Halloween Season guys.

Encounter with an official pair of Atlantic Puffins, symbol for the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador, while on our way to visit some friends.

Even if the Atlantic Puffin has a large population with a wide range, this species declined rapidly resulting in it being rated as vulnerable by the IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature).

What helps them is that colonies are mostly on islands, with no terrestrial predators.

The molting period for Northern Blue Jays has started. Sometimes they lose their feathers progressively and some other time, it's their entire head at once.

Gram'Pa Rose-breasted Grosbeak is here...

By instinct we used to think that all birds migrate and that it's a normal process. Sadly not all of them are still able to. Like all of us they get old and sometimes gain weight. Those ones who are force to stay the entire Winter Season with us take a chance and count roughly on their survival skills. Unfortunately most of them die. There's nothing to do except enjoying their presence while they are here.

No one can escape the power of time.

The First Nation People call him The White-headed Eagle. In French, Pygargue à Tête Blanche.

These captures have been taken at Cap Pelé in New Brunswick, Canada. It is near the Gaspesie Region of Québec where there was an extraordinary and unusual visit last month from a Great Imperial Eagle arriving from Asia, which apparently found a new territory to rest. The Imperial Eagle has travelled a couple of thousands km to arrive in Gaspesie and was seen for the first time in Alaska in 2020, and later on, in Texas on March 2021. Many Ornithologists from everywhere were present to study this Great Imperial Eagle.

Unfortunately I didn't get the chance to see that "Great Imperial Eagle" but this magnificent mature White-headed Eagle was there waiting for me to take these beautiful pictures of him.
