Wilderness cleans our air, filters our water and provides home for human as well as for wildlife. So it is crucial for humanity, which is already to blame, to bring radical changes today before it’s entire extinction tomorrow. That is my only intention here folks. So during Winter Seasons the food for Ravens around here is scarce and If you want to know why we help some of them to survive, well just listen to that video. Now you can't see them in this video, but we did; so we know. And btw you need to pump up the volume.
It is the sound of a juvenile who's extremely hungry, that has made a small come back in the valley asking "If I can say" for a little help from his father to get something to eat. And juveniles know that parents have a good connection for food. Us.
That is no fucking joke folks; the poor bird is so hungry that he has practically lost is voice.
Of course juvenile Ravens have been raised to never ask or accept food from humans. But we have gain 100% trust from Jack and Diane therefore they came to us for a little help. So we did provide that help.
((Northern Ravens "Les Grand Corbeaux Canadiens" are protected by the Canadian Law and somehow, when it's possible, it is kind of our duty to provide any assistance that these birds may need))
A couple of minutes later the juvenile ate the food (that we provided) from their parents and went back to his own territory with a stomach full.

#HouseKeepers
While I’m gone I know that the house is still safe even when I bring the dogs with me. Their' s always one, two or more friends that keep an eye on the property. These guys are able to produce very horrible noises that will give you goosebumps and can even attack, if they sense that there is no purpose for the intruder to be around (humans or animals). Ravens are extremely territorial.

The White-headed Eagle is not bald.

#WhiteHeadedEagle
The First Nation People call him The White-headed Eagle. In French, Pygargue à Tête Blanche.
These captures have been taken at Cap Pelé in New Brunswick, Canada. It is near the Gaspesie Region of Québec where there was an extraordinary and unusual visit last month from a Great Imperial Eagle arriving from Asia, which apparently found a new territory to rest. The Imperial Eagle has travelled a couple of thousands km to arrive in Gaspesie and was seen for the first time in Alaska in 2020 and later on in Texas on March 2021. Many Ornithologists from everywhere were present to study this Great Imperial Eagle.
Unfortunately we didn’t get the chance to see that “Great Imperial Eagle” but this magnificent mature White-headed Eagle was there waiting for us to take these beautiful pictures of him.

#ValentineDay
I will never forget that special day.
It is the day that my Mother was diagnosed with severe lung cancer and brought to the Hospital. She was a non-stop smoker till her last breath. So while on my way visiting her I bought some assorted flower arrangements because nothing is more natural in these occasions. Especially on Valentine's Day.
But then she kept asking me "Why. All. These. Flowers!!!".
Like she couldn't remember what day we were or simply being in an Hospital.
But I personally knew that this, was her usual Mother-Dark-Side.
So while repeating myself more and more louder that it was Valentine's Day. The 14th of February. The "lover's day". Happy Valentine Mom!!! Everyone in the emergency room had turned their heads toward us with such a beautiful smile on their faces and, finally like she had no choice, she smiled back at me but without saying any words. My eyes were all wet, I'd stop breathing for a few seconds while my heart wasn't beating anymore. Then a few hours later she passed away.
Earlier in that morning I left the Hospital and, on my way back home, I realized that I was liberated, free, relieved of any pain on my chest and started to take bigger and bigger breath much more easily. Even feeling dizzy. But I was now able to begin a new life. My life. The one that I never had. And finally started to smile and be happy at 48 years old.
