A tracer is making money with our works

Hello guys, this is a bit different post than what I usually do but please spread the word of awareness for the FNAF, Genshin Impact, Undertale and MHA communities.

A YouTuber named Suitor LP and his thumbnail artist Tanabearchan (minors do not click this link it's an 18+ acc) have been using a lot of other people's art, traced, on the thumbnails of his videos. A lot of the thumbnails included multiple different FNAF, Genshin Impact, Undertale and MHA/BNHA fanworks, and after talking with Suitor LP himself he has apparently been the one to find these artworks from pinterest and then paid Tanabear to trace/edit them, paying her $200 a month for it.

Most of his videos are apparently NSFW audios, so your art might have been used in that sort of video. I have screenshots of all the original thumbnails from the past 8 or 9 months with the stolen artworks saved. He has, in a matter of panic, tried to save his and Tanabear's reputations, by trying to BRIBE me with money to keep my mouth shut while he and Tanabear remove all the evidence of the tracing from his discord server and YouTube.

I am not completely sure what the real reason behind all of this is, and who is the bigger criminal here, because Suitor's story changed the narrative multiple times during our chats in discord yesterday. At first, I assumed he was a victim of a scam, so I took my own strike down but told him to fire his thumbnail artist and that I'd call her out for scamming. He didn't seem to want me to do that, and then his story started to change from him "not knowing his artist was tracing" to "I was the one who found the pictures from Pinterest and told her to trace them"

He was constantly changing the story around about everything, and tried to reason with me not to do this callout from everything from "Other YouTubers do it too" to tragic 'pity me' stories of his youtube career to eventually raising his bribe to $100.

He promised to change, and replace all the thumbnails, but the damage is already done, and judging his constantly changing story I would not believe anything he says at this point. I will add all the screenshots of the video thumbnails I took under the cut. He has now taken down all the thumbnails but I really don't trust he is going to change, he literally said to me when I first started chatting with him that he "learned his lesson 2 years ago" (to not use stolen artwork) but it really seems like he didn't.

I recognised one of the artworks of DJMM to belong to @ballpitbee and one of the Moon drawings to belong to another 18+ artist I follow on Twitter.

Suitor LP has gained money from his videos by using the artworks to lure people to his videos. Some of the arts might have been done by minors, and they've been used in NSFW audio videos. Tanabearchan has gained $200 per month to trace and edit these artworks for him for probably over a year now.

I do not usually call people out publicly. This situation is just so unfair and I think people need to be aware of this. Idk what we can do at this point, but I just don't want these people to be let go without facing at least some sort of consequences. So I'm spreading awareness to not support his channel and to not support the artist who traces others' work for money.

Today marks 1 year of me being a fan of Balan Wonderworld

Holy guacamole! Where do I even begin? I can’t believe a year has already passed. Allow me to share with you how I got into BWW.

It all started on September 22, 2021 with a blog post that I saw in Fimfiction. That blog post contained a YouTube video of BWW. The thumbnail consisted of the video game logo and the titular character whose appearance reminds me strongly of NiGHTS the Nightmaren. I searched up Balan on Google Images and immediately, I was awestruck by how cool and charming he looks, particularly his eyes, grin, hat, dreadlocks, outfit, and height.

I decided to watch some of the gameplay, cutscenes, and several Balan’s Bouts on YouTube, as well as listen to the entire soundtrack, and all of them brought me feelings of wonder, whimsy, and nostalgia. I found it intriguing that the game has themes surrounding mental health, which is a great step forward. Plus, I was impressed with how strong Balan is when it comes to destroying obstacles and beating Lance, as well as the deep sound of his voice.

I ended up having a crush on Balan and shared my thoughts about him right here on Tumblr, leading me to make friends who are fans of BWW. I eventually became less active on Fimfiction and more active here to write and post blogs about Balan, which has helped me a lot to get through the day while the COVID-19 pandemic still goes on.

Balan’s charisma, confidence, and personality brought me so much joy that he became not only my fictional crush, but also my comfort character. I listened to comic dubs on YouTube, faved a lot of fan art here and in DeviantArt, and read NSFW headcanons written by @balan-wonderworld-imagines who unfortunately hasn’t been active since April 30, 2021.

The song that I listened to many times while looking at images of Balan is Sister Ray by Foxes. I chose that song because the glittery synths and the thumping beat made me imagine myself dancing with Balan on stage, having the grandest time of our lives. The other songs that I listened to many times are One More by SG Lewis ft. Nile Rodgers, Church Girl by Laura Mvula, Spotlight by Jessie Ware, As I Try Not To Fall Apart by White Lies, and Asking For A Friend by CHVRCHES.

I referenced 5 of the 6 songs in my Balan fanfiction that I started writing in November of last year. Everytime I listen to those songs, I feel like I was performing in front of him, for him, or with him. Balan inspired me to embrace my authentic self and get liberated from the constraints of an unfair and cruel world. That’s how great of an impact he has made in my life and I’m forever thankful for that.

Despite the negative critical reception of BWW, I’m super grateful to be part of this loving and supportive fandom. In fact, I would like to give a shoutout to each and every one of you.

To celebrate, here’s the song that led me to my BWW hyperfixation. I recommend listening to this with headphones as the upbeat feel and the excellent bass will give you a completely euphoric experience.

I was fortunate enough that I didn’t suffer online harassment for liking BWW. However, I went through several unfortunate experiences within the fandom. I won’t go further into those as I’ve already made peace and moved forward.

I may no longer be hyperfixated as I once was, but I will always be a fan of the majestic serotonin-inducing maestro. I would give Balan a big and warm hug as a genuine way of thanking him. He definitely has a special place in my heart.

P.S. While I don’t have a problem with fans adoring Balan’s true form, a.k.a. his anime pretty boy appearance, I personally love the fan interpretation of Balan still having dreadlocks and black complexion without his hat because underneath that hat is a beautiful and adorable being with a fun-loving and gentle soul.

A day to remember everyone who has survived and died to D.R.E.S.S. Syndrome, as well as spreading awareness of this deadly condition. I want to thank the D.R.E.S.S. Syndrome Foundation (psst, that’s what the link is to!) for the drive they have to spread awareness and knowledge of something so rare yet deadly onto the medical field.

I was prescribed the medication Lamictal in June of 2019, used for seizures and bipolar disorder, after being falsely diagnosed with bipolar disorder by a primary pediatrician. This medication made me develop not only the biggest and most painful rash all over my body, but made my liver and kidneys start to fail. I was on more morphine than any adult, much less 16 year old should be on. I became bound to a wheelchair and had to relearn how to walk completely. I left and got readmitted to the same hospital 4 times. And as of August 30th, 2019, I have left the hospital permanently for D.R.E.S.S. Syndrome.

I am proud to say I am not part of the 10% of D.R.E.S.S. Syndrome patients who have lost their life to this rare yet deadly condition. And while I am still in pain from this and still need a lot to recover, I can walk again! I no longer need a wheelchair. I no longer need methadone or morphine. I no longer need to be bed ridden in the hospital.

I am a D.R.E.S.S. Syndrome Survivor.
