“why don’t you join me?” oswald motioned for you to join him in his car but you politely declined. “my place is only a block away.” you smiled and he kissed your forehead and got into his car. “call me when you get home.” oswald’s henchmen shut his car door and drove off. “y/n.” you felt someone tap you on the shoulder and you turned around to see bruce wayne standing behind you. “god you scared me, this cannot be our thing. what are you following me?” bruce shook his head. “no i was at the club.”

“why? that’s not your scene.” you questioned. “you shouldn’t be around oswald- your family has history with him.” he cleared his throat and you scoffed. “i know he tried to kill my father… he’s one of many.” you let out a breathy laugh. “then why are you hanging around him?” bruce got closer to you. “i wanted some information from him.” you glanced at bruce’s pale pink lips. “cmon y/n you know guys like that-“ you felt like bruce was staring into the depths of your soul.“GUYS LIKE WHAT?.” you yelled cutting him off. “guys like the penguin he’ll only use and take advantage of you.” he caressed your cheek.

“who do you think you are” you tried to walk away but bruce grabbed your wrist. “i just want to keep you safe.” bruce was frustrated. why couldn’t you just get that bruce just wants to help you. “you're so kind, you're so protective, you're like my daddy… is that what you want me to say?” you softened your voice and twirled your hair. “no. i just want to keep you fucking safe.” he yelled and you froze you felt your eyes fill with tears. “i- i know im sorry.” bruce hugged you tightly. “shh shh.” he kissed the top of your head. “do you want to go back to mine?” he whispered to you and you nod. “yes.”

Also because he remained remarkably calm when you started a fight over it. He sat there, looking at yih in silence, like he had the nerve to listen and he understanding. He got on your nerves so easily. He's annoying and you told him as much in a whirlwind of yelling before storming out of the meadow.

Bruce Wayne

Because he pushed you away. He became the Bat, but he did so during the darkest time of your life. After everything you two had been through together he was really pushing you away. He was doing it on purpose. And then he outright told you to leave him alone. Stop talking to him. That he wasn't able to offer you anything.

Summary: Y/N decides to leave after Neil comes back injured from a mission.

Warnings: Mentions of blood and death.

You walk back in the room and stare at Neil’s asleep state. He looks peaceful, just like any other night.

It doesn’t even look like he took two bullets onto his abdomen and isn’t laying in a hospital bed.

He had just come back from surgery a few hours ago, and he should be waking up soon, or at least that’s what the doctors said.

Your chest aches at the sight of all the cables connected to his body and the large bruise on his jaw. You had seen the large bandage that covered his torso when a nurse came to check his stitching, and you just can’t take your mind off of it.
