I’m sorry ! 🙇🏻‍♂️ I didn’t have my ADHD meds in me and that usually makes my rambling worse.

I started with jjk0 because 2 reasons, the Barnes and Noble I was at only had 1 copy of jjk0 and a dozen copies of jjk23… and 0 comes before 1.

And yeah I haven’t watched it or read anything else yet (again MHA’s ending left a bad taste in my mouth and Shonen Jump has gained a powerful side eye from me since I got back into anime/manga) the idea behind Gege’s writing choices in regards to who lives or dies feels cheap as a concept, but the execution (pun NOT intended) could actually be well done… I wouldn’t know ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I’d heard about his first editor telling him to add a school setting to better appeal to Shonen Jump, and when I read jjk0 the school aspect felt forced and a bit restrictive honestly. There’s a good part of me that thinks had jjk gone to a seinin publisher it would’ve thrived differently and Gege wouldn’t have had to make all these sacrifices to his story and probably also his health.

ughhh you bring up such good points😫. ANYWAYS, again I totally agree with most things you said (except again on how he kills characters, I'm sorry!! I just weirdly like it for some reason😞).

I can't speak too much on jjk0 school setting feelings forced as I haven't actually read or watched it(I've only just heard things from it).

I agree tho I feel if he had just gone to a seinin publisher this ending probably would have gone differently, and everything probably would have been better for him, but sadly we'll never really know😔.
