I do not fucking care about the identity of this unknown figure (be it Gojo or someone else) I just want this character to mess with Sukuna instead of helping him because if it is the latter, everything Yuji and others have worked hard to accomplish will be easily wiped off.

Also, I wanted Gojo to come back too but I did not remember wanting him to get involved in the battlefield again because Lord knows how terrifying it is to see him overworking himself to the bone (remember that one illustration of his bleeding brain from JJK Vol. 26? hmm yeah) and if it is true that THIS unknown figure ended up being him in the end, I simply have no words. However, let us not think too much about this due to its vagueness.

Meanwhile I can tell already that whatever the outcome of this chapter is in the next leaks, people are still going to tune in and get loud on each other's timeline/dashboard. Gojo or not Gojo, you will support this character if it fucks with Sukuna's soul - that I can guaranteed. You are FREE to believe and think however you want but at least please do not disregard Gojo fans for wanting to celebrate. This is the only moment they get to do that, but I also hope that every Gojo fans won't get too upset (even swear at Gege) if the manifestation continues to fail you and it is not what you expected.

Once again let me remind you that Gege is best known for his unpredictable trickery. Gege is using both optimism and pessimism consecutively so keep a LOWER expectation if you do not want to end up breaking your heart that you have endlessly worked hard to preserve for 236 days (yes, this unknown "entity" shows up after the first chapter of Gojo vs. Sukuna began.)

The manga has had many highs and a few lows, with recent lows being more pronounced. Managing a large-scale battle is not easy, and that's understandable. However, with chapter 261, Gege did something increasingly rare in the world of entertainment, especially in Japan (to hell with editorial interference). He made an act of authorship.

Yes, fans will be disappointed, they’ll make noise, but the story doesn't need to go where the fans want it to; it needs to go where the author wants it to.

As I’ve said many times, Gojo had finished his narrative arc.

Gege made that clear on several occasions.

The airport scene, the flowers on the cover of the volume, and most importantly, the fact that Geto's body acted automatically to defend him before he was imprisoned (a sign that Geto had forgiven him and was waiting for him in the afterlife).

Gege has never hidden that the real protagonist was meant to be Yuuta, and with this latest act, he confirmed it once again.

There is nothing more important for an author than staying true to themselves.

Being sad or angry about an author's choice is part of being a reader and a fan, but one must accept and defend the author’s creative decisions.

The story is theirs, and they should have the freedom to tell it as they see fit. Want it to go differently? Want to change something?

Aight I have a lot of feelings about this chapter but for now I want to dwell on this.

In the beginning of this story we are told by Yuki's Grandpa the importance of dying a proper death and it's shown throughout the course of the story that that idea has basically stuck with Yuji more than anything.

And in the end of the story we see Yuji, scarred and wounded Yuji, go to Sukuna as he's left a useless heap of flesh on the ground screaming in anger at his death, his improper death, and Yuji just.....

Y'know, part of me now wishes Sukuna was never all that interested in Megumi or the TS technique, or that he ever got to possess Megumi in the first place. It doesn't feel like this is a Sukuna VS Gojo fight anymore, but instead a Ten-Shadows User VS Gojo fight.

I think, if Gege really wanted to show us something regarding the TS vs the Limitless + Infinity debate, he could've just used Megumi. There's a chance to evoke negative emotions within him vis-a-vis Gojo if Megumi found out about Toji's death. That's a whole other debate i'm not gonna get into, but the gist of this is that i just don't want Sukuna to be a part of this debate.

I'm much more interested in what Sukuna's own capabilities entail, how it relates to him and the life he has lived so far. I'm sure he could've found another way to deal with the limitless/Infinity even if he didn't have the TS, which i feel, would have been so much more interesting.

So many chapters in, still no CT reveal, no backstory reveal, in my opinion, maybe Gege is stretching the suspense too long ; Idk but i'm just getting annoyed with TS at this point. :/

I agree with others, ever since Sukuna got into Megumi, his hype has changed.

Gojo reached the peak of his power, in hopes that it would "reach" Sukuna...and feeling sad how Sukuna was unable to go all out..and....Nanami, Haibara, Getou, all of them are back in their highschool forms...are they consoling Gojo at the time of his death? I'M SAD, LIKE, HOLY SHIT, I WASN'T EXPECTING THIS TO HAPPEN SO..SO FAST...

Can someone explain to me why I, a sukuna fan from day 1, want to cry over Gojo's death. Feels like i'm going through a withdrawal of sorts, :') I just know that once the series is over and everyone's dead (Sukuna included), the fix-it fics are gonna hit soo good ..

I think this is the panel that f's me up the most. How his face looked when Nanami is commenting on his last moments alive. What catches me off guard is how...raw his expressions look....

Trolling aside, i think there is some great importance as to why Gege chose this specific manner of panelling for the Yuji-Sukuna confrontation in JJK 264. We can't help but think that Gege's trying to show us some sort of a parallel between Gojo and Sukuna in this situation.

In JJK, there's this interesting notion of one's decision to go "North" or "South" as explained by Nanami during Gojo's death Flashback:

And we all know, that chapter of Gojo's death is titled as "Go South", which highly implies that Gojo chose to stay as who he was, as opposed to starting as something completely anew.

Now the interesting point in the Yuuji-Sukuna confrontation is that apparently...

....the destination for the supposed train within Yuuji's domain...is "North".

Which means that Yuuji's taking Sukuna towards the North.......

They're heading towards the North.....do you guys understand what that means?? For BOTH of them??? Q C Q
